OLTL was on at the gym today (Wednesday) - and I have to admit that half of it was good.

I really enjoyed the Jessica/Antonio scenes - great acting!

I liked how they saluted/toasted to Patrick!

I had no idea that's what was being planned. I completely agree they need to rethink that.

They are thinking about doing a school shooting story, simular to Colubine.

As for today Kamar rocked and I need to hear that. Jessica the skank need to be put in her place. Now time for him to find out about the other stuff.

I think they might just not air OLTL, when they plan on doing that. Unless, they re-write QUICK, and I mean quick, it is too late to edit that stuff written.

Yes, I think today was the show that all the Java fans have missed for the last three years. It was the return of anger boy and his whiney wimpy wife. That is the Java that existed for such a long time. It was also Antonio admitting he knew Jessica wasn't excited about adopting Jamie, but he pushed her into it anyway. It was Jessica's fault, but not Antonio's. He never is responsible and never will be.

Anyway today was the Java I hate. I think others like Anger Man and Whiney Woman.

And yes, they are planning doing a Columbine type story. With the current state of writing, I think it would have been a problem even had the events of this week not happened. Right now, I just don't want to see it. It's kind of a show making money off of a senseless tragedy.

I'm not sure what they would do. But you are right, if they are going to rewrite it, they need to do it like yesterday. Because that stuff was taped around 4-6 weeks or so ago, which means it's only a few weeks away from airing. They would really have to act fast to edit it out.

Some possible things they could do would be to go ahead with the storyline as planned with no changes; go ahead as scheduled but with PSA's from the cast or others; edit all of it out and add new stuff; pre-empt OLTL during the storyline; show old episodes of OLTL until the storyline is over; or show like a 'Daytime to Remember' kind of thing with old clips and interviews.

I don't know what they'll end up doing, but I think it would show very poor taste if they were to go ahead with it as scheduled.

I know Melrose Place re wrote the blown up apartment building after the OK Bombing....didn't AMC change something with the Janet storyline around the same time? And I know GH dropped a storyline after 9/11

OLTL is about 6-8 weeks ahead, so it could be changed

I loved Antonio and Jessica's scenes today. He really rocked it today. Poor little Jamie, Antonio should never let Jessica near her again.

And I loved the Dorian and Viki sniping today. Dorian always makes me laugh, especially when she said the line about the lack of passion in her life. Viki's expression was priceless.

I thought the Jessica/Antonio scenes were good too. Both of them have made some huge mistakes and Jamie is paying the price. The adoption thing is slightly contreived as other posters have mentioned. The second Jess married Antonio she took on the role of Jamie's mother. Antonio has been wrong to push her into the marriage and adoption, but Jessica isn't a child. She said she was ready to marry him and no matter how much pushing Antonio and her family is doing she should have stood up and admitted she wasn't ready.

I hope Todd gives Rex a huge beatdown.

I'm actually falling for JoMart, god help me. For some reason both John and Nat are so much better apart. I like John when he's with Marty. I just hope in a few weeks he doesn't start treating her like a pest the way he did Nat. That gets old fast.

Melrose Place didn't re-write it ... the explosion was just held off from the season finale in 1994 until the season premiere.

I think General Hospital dumped a story because of the terrorists attacks. I think OLTL should dump this story. There is no amount of PSAs, in my opinion, that would help this. I'm teaching at a university campus. Feelings are raw and this is just not the time for an OLTL stunt.

As far as Jessica and Antonio, today was the reason I hate that couple. I don't hate Antonio, I don't hate Jessica, I hate that couple and I hate them as individuals when they are a couple. He was screaming like she was a child and she was so whiney and weak that she could not even stand up for herself.

Jessica today was pathetic and as annoying as she ever has been. It took Tess to redeem that character and now she is back to the pathetic creature she was during the Santis. What is OLTL thinking?

I also hate never-ending triangles. I hated Jolie/Jovan because it just never stopped. I hate this storyline for the same reason. There is no end in sight.

Jess/ Antonio- Loved it. I felt Jess's guilt and I felt Antonio's anger. I could sympathize with both. Go Antonio for fianally calling Jess on her crap and defending your daughter.

Todd/Blair- I love the snark, but really after hearing all those noises you don't just peak around the corner. You make a thorough check and then get the hell out of dodge. I laughed at Todd saying that he could run fast- I only saw one door in the office.

Vicki/Clint/Dorian- This reminds me of the Ethan/Theresa/Gwen triangle on Passions. Clint is going to be with Dorain, but not be able to let go of Vicki. I love the Dorian/ Vicki snark, but free Vicki!!!!

Nash- I loved the way he explained things to Bree. I love the way he handled the tri.

Marci/Michael- I love that Marcie is calling him on his crap and I loved that she called John. Family bonding is always a plus. I think they need to focus on how this secret is tearing Michael apart.

John/Marty- Just NO!!! They are soooo boring!!!

Today was ok. I liked T&B. I hate Tate. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow and seeing what happens with Jash and Jamie.

Todd and Blair- Loved them. I loved the Bonnie and Clyde remark and Blair's "welcome to my world" I love how Blair defened Todd and how Todd softened twords her at the end.

Adrianna/Tate- Just Hell No!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nash/Jess- I love them, hate the storyline!!! Poor Jamie!!!

Antonio- Loved the diner scenes!! Jamie is soooo cute.

I didn't hate the high school musical stuff. I freaken love Brittany!!!! Henry is cuter than Cole and a better actor. I didn't hate Cole yesterday.

Marcie is a pretty good teacher, I like her.

Loved Starr's song- Together- great song.

I get Chris tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree. I like Henry way more than Cole. Can they trade roles? I just hope Henry isn't the one who goes over the edge if they continue on with the school violence story.

I actually am starting to really enjoy Marcie with the teen set. Her manipulating Cole, and interactions with Starr and Langston are what make most of the teen scenes barable. I hope they actually bulid a storyline around her as a teacher, and not a supporting role to the teens. Too bad the play didn't have a contraverserial theme, and have her job threatened or something. Loved her calling out Michael, and for once... I enjoyed a Marcie/John conversation, and that because it was all about Marcie and Michael. I like how she can see through Michael, I thought she would guess what's going on... but I guess with the play occupying her time; the secret will hit her like a tornado and tear her world apart.

As for Todd/Blair... would have been more enjoyable if I haven't seen this before or didn't know the somewhat predictable outcome. Still not interesting to me.

Nash/Jessica/Antonio, am I the only one thing too much of the blame is placed on Jessica? And that she's giving Antonio too much right, to be angry with her? In no way, do I believe that Antonio didn't see and feel some of Jessica's hestiation and pushed her into it (both the marriage and adopting Jamie.) She married him, because he stuck by her with the whole Tess thing, which I could tell a mile away. That right there spells trouble with him. I have to commend her for not wanting to adopt Jamie before telling him that she loves Nash, I'll give her credit for her reasoning... not her excusion. And I do like how she wants to be Jamie's mother, but not Antonio's wife anymore. Now, with Jamie seeing and her accident, it's just another thing that they will put on Jessica and make the cause of it be because she loves Nash.
