I guess we'll see. I hope they don't make Carly a weak pathetic woman pining over Jack again. Shes much stronger and deserves so much more than being a house slave to his goody two shoes, big ego self. Katie can have him. Lol why is it that I'm seeing Brad and Carly rekindled? They always say theres a fine line between love and hate. I can so see the arguing and fights between them turning into something more.

And Helena I understand your POV...I guess it comes down to different taste. It doesn't really bother me that shes on. Cleo is annoying though. I'll give you that. And I can totally see where they taking this. Shes gonna go pyscho and try to take over Gwens life. Eventually she'll kidnap Gwen without Jades permission and sleep with Will. End up preggers...who knows? So much they could do with her. I just can't STAND her voice though.

LOL...I can only imagine how mismatched the Brad/Carly scenes will be. Like watching Pauly Shore opposite anyone. I can't wait for Carly to tear Brad a new piehole. It'll probably my second most favorite scene. However they write the end of Carly's affair with Aussie Boy will be my favorite.

Oh...did anyone think it was weird Cleo got briefed on the Carly/Gwen connection? There's a lot of Gwen-history Jade could have schooled Cleo on. Makes me a little hopeful TIIC have truly remembered the fact Gwen and Carly are sisters.

Yes Maura is a great actress but I think Austin Peck is decent. I don't get all the hating that goes on him. He deserves to have a job like the rest of us. And I find him to be quite good at the role of Brad. Hes funny, charming, and hot. He manages to have a great brotherly vibe with Jack. The sorta tension that you can feel between two brothers on the opposite side of the fence. Also his chemistry with Vienna and Katie is off the charts. Austin Peck has a lot going on with this character and I'm definitely feeling him so kudos to him for finding such a nice role after playing Austin on DooL for so long (A character that was quite boring).

I agree with everybody. It is not that I don't like Jennifer Landon.I love her and her losing her baby and the baby swap storyline was one of her best. Like everybody I am sick of the overexposure.

Jack and Carly, like Holden and Lily, and in days gone by Steve and Betsy and Tom and Margo are a signature couple on this show. Carly and Simon were just a blip on the radar.

Katie may become a spoiler for them when Maura comes back but ultimately CarJack will win out!

OMG I'm watching Vienna's vows from yesterday right now...I think I'm gonna cry. Man that woman can act. Who is the actress again. Its sad that I don't know her name. She deserves to be on the show for a long time. I can't believe Henry would do something so horrible to her like that after she poured her heart and soul out in front of everybody.

As for CarJack I'll agree to disagree...Simon is the best though!

Peck gets ripped on because I think CBS fans in particular are more interested in actors as opposed to "hot" looking people mumbling lines. I wasn't kidding when I said nuParker and nuFaith can act rings around Peck. He may be adequate, and I know he's a fan favorite from DOOL, but his shortcomings stick out like a sore thumb on this show. I want more than "adequacy", and I kind of resent that CBS/ATWT hired him based on his "hot body" or fan base.

Trent waited five or six years to get a contract, while I sat through some horrible teens gobbling up airtime learning to act. Somewhere, some really talented guy is jobless because casting directors no longer believe talent is enough reason to give an unknown a chance.

Peck wasn't a fan favorite at Days. The vast majority of fans couldn't stand his wooden acting. He had chemistry with Christie Clark (Carrie), but his acting has always left so much to be desired.

Another awesome show today!! I must be watching a different show than you all because I love ATWT now more than ever!!! (well to be fair, I've only watched for two years)

I think I love Jade more and more everyday. She is my #1 favorite character now. I love Cleo, but I got so upset when she left the apartment. I mean, really...Jade went through all the trouble of going out to buy her food only to come back to an empty apartment and find that Cleo has disobeyed her? Good grief.

I loved the montage of Cleo's transformation and Jade shaking her head at the outfits.

I also loved the mother/daughter scenes with Emily and Ali. I like the hint of a Ali/Will/Gwen triangle too...but I think they have enough on their plate right now.

I'm with you man...I honestly just don't get what all the frustration is about. I'm loving ATWT right now and it will only get better once Carly comes back. Although I'm sad that Simon won't be coming back with her I still look forward to whatever storyline they create for her. However what I really want most is for Carly to be independent (single from Jack), sucessful in whatever business she decides to go into, and MOST of all to reconnect with her children. Especially Parker. The poor boy is just heartbroken and its making me feel really bad for the kid. He loves his mom so much and yet hes so angry at her too. The guy whos playing Parker is doing such a great job of displaying those emotions. And his scenes with Jack are phenomenal. I just can't wait till we see him and Carly reunited!

Jade is a diva in the making and I love her to death. This current scheme of hers however is beyond dumb to me. Frankly I want her and Lucinda to be in more scenes/storyline together. Can you imagine it? Jade redeems herself in Lucinda's eyes by helping her take down Craig Montgomery. Along the way Jade discovers a passion for business and learns she is capable of doing great things WITHOUT a man. In addition she helps Lily get back on track and regain her self confidence. Powerful stuff I think.

Last but not least I'd love to see a Brad/Vienna/Jack/Katie quadrangle. That would be HOT. Either way you look at it the pairing would be so good.

P.S. I know Jack and Brad are Holden's biological cousins. But what is their relationship to Luke?

    • Respectfully agree to disagree. We had 4 episodes with original flashbacks integrated well into contemporary scenes that were sweet, romantic, that resonated, that hit all the possible nostalgic chords & that shows me the writing team not only cares for these 2 characters but that they were really excited about writing for them. And, we also have the quote from Korte/VanEtten beginning of the year-ish that they considered Lucky & Liz a foundational couple for the canvas.  I thought Lucky's saying he didn't think he'd stay once she turned down his marriage proposal to be good character motivation. I also thought the idea of some summer travels with Aiden supports character integrity.  Going by his exit interviews, what's left is people & logistics/scheduling, etc. & there's no way a writing team can anticipate an actor taking an out in their contract ahead of time. They have to deal with it, in the moment, when it comes up & likely it's going to make a bit of a mess to whatever they have sketched out in the long story thrust.
    • I had a driver taking me to Infusion the other day & we were talking about soaps. She was out of touch but had been a CBS fan, from TPIR, all day till Oprah. Telling her about BTG. What network? CBS. When: 2pm. Is it between ATWT & GL? Oh, girl, you are so behind. So, she was appalled when I briefly brought her up to date BUT she remained interested in hearing more about BTG, so that was a plus.  Last weekend I got a haircut so it is the way I like it, short & spiky but of course it's purple. Recently, I was waiting for my ride outside the Infusion Center & a woman comes up to me, about my age, short spiky hair but all white. She raves about my purple hair & says she is a pancreatic cancer survivor & purple is that color (which I knew) and she is thinking going purple but doesn't know where to start. So I tell her about Splat, no bleach req'd, easy, etc. & she's getting excited & my driver pulled up, & stuck her head out & said, Donna? & she had purple hair, too! I felt like we were in a purple vortex. It was both lovely & surreal.
    • We saw Hope, with Bo, where she revealed John's death to him & he immediately wanted to leave for Salem & we saw the two of them talk to a doc or an admin about whether he would be allowed to be discharged yet.  Someone, maybe Will, talked to Sami on the phone and at the airport Sydney had taken a fall, sounded like she was on a moving sidewalk, and had at least 2 breaks & was scheduled for some kind of orthopedic surgery.  Since it is clear that Sweeney cannot or will not be available, again I say  it is time to recast.  Wasn't Carrie lock-step with Belle the whole time? In general I thought all of the eulogies were both good & appropriate. Yes, Paul touched me like no other. Loved Abe. I still miss previous Little Rachel but for the first time new Little Rachel also moved me. And, amazingly, I am caught up again. Whoopeee!

    • In true TV tradition Dani kept her bra on during sex. Couldn't we have been treated to Andre in his underwear , rather than trousers on already? I took Hayley's reaction as teasing. Surely she wouldn't think for a moment Bill was fooling around with Ashley? I agree that Dupree staircase looks a little basic.Wish for something grander. And in the living room there was a lamp in front of the door. Huh? Is that a closet? Would you have built in storage in a living room in a house of that size? Chelsea has millions of followers?

    • 1976 Pt 2 A young woman named Tina calls Norman’s hospital room, claiming she’s in town and is broke and upset about his condition. He firmly tells her to stay away, but she sneaks into his room later, upsetting him. He tells her she’s ruining his plan, but she can’t see why— after all, he’s told her he loves her, and they will soon be married. Norman becomes irate and starts yelling, claiming all his problems are because of Sandy. Meanwhile, Bob, who had left the floor station for Norman’s room, discovered he’d forgotten his stethoscope and returned to his office for it. Nurses passing Norman’s room heard loud shouting from within but assumed everything was under control, as Dr. Hughes was in there. When Bob finally returns, he finds Norman alone. Tina has slipped out, and Norman has had another heart attack. All emergency methods fail, and Norman dies. Bob takes it hard; he was his doctor and couldn’t save him. John Dixon, long resentful and bitter at Bob’s successes in his career, subtly manages to force a hearing into Norman’s death. The floor nurses report that Bob went to Norman’s room and an argument followed; then Bob called for help when Norman went into heart failure. Bob’s report is contradictory that he went for his stethoscope and found Garrison already stricken. Bob, assuming that this is only a routine death, has already left on a short vacation, untroubled and unsuspecting, so his written report must stand. He returns to find that the situation has escalated into a full-fledged investigation. Learning that the argument is the bone. of contention, Sandy comes forward and claims that she was in Norman’s room, arguing with him. Bob refuses to let her perjure herself, which John manages to use as credence in Norman’s contention that Bob and Sandy were having an affair. ‘Bob is angry when, after a week, the hospital board hands him an official reprimand; thinking this is virtually an accusation of guilt, Bob refuses to accept it. His first reaction is his resignation, but upon thinking it through, he decides he’s going to fight this. He withdraws his hasty resignation and begins to work with Tom to reconstruct the events of the day Norman died. Nurse Connolly finally admits that someone could have entered Norman’s room unseen, but Floor Nurse Holland is firmly convinced no one did. Carol Stallings is upset to learn that the business tactics of her husband, Jay, while legal, are not as ethical and moral as she would have hoped. Chris Hughes has asked Tom to take over Jay’s legal affairs for the firm. Tom decides the opportunity is too good to refuse, even though he personally doesn’t like Jay - and knows Jay resents him, as he and Carol were at. one time married. Tom soon finds that some of Jay’s proposed new dealings are somewhat illegal, in the gray area, and tells him he advises against them. It is a  lawyer’s function to protect clients from making this kind of mistake, he explains. Kim Dixon has recovered physically from the injuries she sustained when she was hit on the head during a tornado, but her amnesia continues. She has been told that she was about to divorce John and marry Dan, but cannot seem to feel any emotions toward Dan now. In fact, she has noticed that most of the people around her seem to dislike John, and she is therefore feeling sympathetic toward him. John manages to usé Kim’s uncertainty to widen the gap between her and Dan, and finally convinces Kim to let him move back home. Dan is very badly hurt upon learning of this. Kim explains to Bob that she feels uncomfortable with Dan—she senses that he expects more of her than she can deal with now—while John has been thoughtful and understanding of her. Susan Stewart, Dan’s ex-wife, has stopped drinking, and tries to help Dan through this painful time by taking the holiday season responsibilities for Emily and Betsy upon herself to relieve Dan of the burden. (Emily is Dan and Susan’s daughter; Betsy believes she is Dan’s orphaned niece but is in reality his daughter by the late Elizabeth Stewart.) Dan’s misery at Kim’s apparent rejection has finally  convinced him to accept a medical-mission assignment in Bolivia. Kim, meanwhile, has been having momentary flashes of memory, but none are long enough so that she can understand what she’s remembering. On the night Dan is leaving for Bolivia, however, she has a coherent recollection and remembers the letter she wrote to Dan saying she wanted to be with him for the rest of their lives. Learning that he is leaving immediately, Kim leaves three messages on his answering machine. But Susan, who still wants Dan back, overhears Kim on the phone and goes to Dan’s office, where she removes the tape. Susan later tells Kim that Dan got the messages but they weren’t important enough to handle before leaving for South America. Susan then suggests to Kim that she gracefully end it by writing to Dan saying it’s all over, and to press Kim further shé suggests that Kim has been ungrateful to John for the constant care and concern he’s shows her during the past weeks. I believe the Dan going to Bolivia story was when John Reilly left. When Dan returned, it was again John Colenback. So the Kim/Dan story had been initiated with Reilly/Hays.
    • Ok, so the memorial felt a bit... underwhelming. I couldn’t help but wonder - where’s Julie? Would’ve made sense for her to be sitting next to Marlena. And Maggie, who’s been close to John and Marlena for decades? Sami? Hope? Carrie? What about Tony and Anna? Jack and Jen? And Will? And Kristen - even just a short, quiet scene of Eileen Davidson by his grave would’ve added so much depth. That said, Paul’s eulogy really stood out. The line “Can’t wait to play basketball with you again” was genuinely moving.
    • For once, it wasn't Hunter I recalled Luis Guzman from, but the I Love The... series on VH1.
