Today continues to make me believe in this new balance we're experiencing. No Babe or JR - no Fusion set - and Jamie & Amanda are back. Also we have Julia and Tad back.

LOL - Adam is a jerk. "What's your problem? Time of the month?" I'm really happy that Zoe and Adam had more scenes together though.

I understand why Jonathan would be trying to protect Lily, but I hate how he is still so aggresive - he just throws Aiden and Di across the room. Ugh - anyway I'm loving Di and her desire to help Ava.

Finally, great Colby/Krystal scenes. I'm really happy with the writers' decision to have Colby be the person to bring Krystal's baby into this world. The scenes are beautifully directed, and I love the sweat, grind, and acting from Bobbie and Ambyr both.

Haha oh yeah, and that's what I mean - I love how the writers made it Colby delivering the baby. She lost all trust in Krystal and was initially disgusted by her anyway - so watching Colby struggle with having to touch or look at Krystal like that - let alone be the one to do this for Krystal. haha - Plus she's still young. But when the baby finally came out, you could see the happiness and enlightenment on Colby's face...as if she realized the beauty of a baby coming into this world. I thought it was great!

Ok I lied....Babe and JR just showed up at the half-way mark :( But they aren't being annoying. I'm actually glad Babe is there with Krystal and her new baby.

Yeah, Jonathan just going off on Ava - and being a jerk. He just has been ruined beyond belief for me. I really have no use for Jonathan and Jeff Branson honestly doesn't even impress me anymore. He hasn't ever since he became 'normal' again last summer, with the exception of Erin's death.

I did enjoy Tad and Krystal together at one point, so it's kinda :) for me that their baby is finally born. I like how Colby seems to really be growing. LOL, first sign MMT is out. Character growth. :D

Other then that, blah.

LOVED the Bianca and Zoe/Zarf scenes. Best part of the show. I hate that they are leaving bc they are so refreshing. Im really glad they are finally a couple and really sad to see them on their way out just when things are getting good

Right.

Bianca/Zoe can't leave soon enough; shove them out the revolving door AMC has for her. AMC should have had the guts to either tell a story about Bianca finding love with a lesbian or just being bisexual. I'm not a fan of this in between stuff. Not to mention that Zoe at times was too outlandish and Bianca a bitter pill.

    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?

    • Now this strikes me as funny. I have it up on my acct. The thing is I only have S2. Didn't want either 1 or 3.  Perhaps I should just list all of these that I have up.  Parodies: Dirty Sexy Money, Filthy Rich Incomplete: The Monroes, All That Glitters, Falcon Crest (have all just not all up), Once & Again S2 only Complete: Models Inc, Pasadena, Pacific Palisades, Paper Dolls, Flamingo Road
    • This is wonderful! Thank you for posting this! I loved the first two seasons and never got to see the final season when they cancelled the DVD release. I've been hoping this popped up on streaming but no luck. Happy I'll finally get to see how it ended!

    • In case it is of interest to anyone here, I have digital copies (computer files, mp4 etc.) of all of the episodes. And, besides having the files they are all up on my usual video hosting site, acct name: shallotpeel, channel it is in: Primetime Soaps and file names like  Flamingo Road S1E15 Hurricane Flamingo Road was a primetime soap on NBC by Lorimar Productions. 2 seasons. 1980-1982. Morgan Fairchild, Barbara Rush. Developed by Rita Lakin.
    • Arguably DAYS OF OUR LIVES has been brilliant lately & definitely was last week. But, here I am with nitpick & technicalities. This was the only misstep but it was just a stupid thing that should have been caught. Deidre Hall as Marlena has this one problematic line, "It didn't matter how many identities you had, I always knew exactly who you were, you were the man who saved my life." - Marlena, DAYS, 6-2-25 Unfortunately the flashback closest to it was when Marlena was on the phone, terrified because she thought he was Stefano. Yes, it's true that the line is not accurate. There were many times when she did not feel the way she is claiming because of whatever was going on in story with his 'retconned to hell & back' identity & origin story. Does it keep the whole week from being called excellent? Nope.
