Today's show was pretty much boring as hell, and yes I even said that on a Luke day. Gwen/Maddie/Casey/Will/Jade don't care go the hell away, bore me some other day, can't stand them anymore. It was nice seeing Luke to bad his scene was only 5 seconds long, while I had to sit through 30 minutes of Gwen crying.

Brad totally boring and useless character and being played by an actor who can't act, today proved that for me, I was getting better with him, but yup he sucks. Jack and Katie Gag me, they think this crap is interesting.

Other than Luke the only highlight was Vienna and Henry, and some of the Emily/Dusty stuff.

I would have expected alot more from a Thursday show, instead so far it was the worst show of the week.

Dusty said something about Emily making money on her back and she says "No sometimes I was on top"

Yes, that was very funny! The only bright spots of today's show was Luke and Tom. Was Margo on? I forgot! That's how much I paid attention to it...LOL. Everything was blah and boring.

Austin Peck needs to be fired! I hate the Brad character. He is useless and pointless.

Day 7398 of "Why this is REALLY all about ME, Kathrine Ann Peretti Fraser Coleman Kasnoff Peretti!" Someone please hit me with a blunt object and wake me when Carly returns. Poor Michael Park...stuck playing third wheel to a pint-sized witch and overblown side of beef. Even seeing Jack knock Brad on his ass only made me smile for nano-seconds. Please, GOD, tell me some honcho at CBS is watching and realizing Peck needs to exit, post-haste.

Jade and the obvious Plot Device. *groan* Somehow in all the lookalike/doppelganger talk, neither Jade or Luke mentions the Lily/Rose thing?

Tom's sudden psychic belief the teens are lying....well, good for him. I don't see what difference it makes to him. Casey is still guilty of stealing the bonds and needs to face the consequences. Knowing Adam was thought to be dead doesn't really impact anything. (that's actually the problem with the entire story...)

Dusty/Em...well, kind of boring, but anything that keeps Em from "hmmmning" and crying snot is okay by me.

Loved Vienna and Henry. It's too bad their story feels like a plot device for other characters.

Peck(er) needs to leave NOW!!!! Brad's boyish antics aren't cute or entertaining. Henry's a loser? Bítch, please. You're the one cooking and gardening on TV.

In fact, I NEVER find the funny characters to be funny. They always fall flat, flat, flat to me.

I love Tom Hughes. I love how recently people have been bítching out the moronic teens. They've let their sh.it slide on for far too long.

I'm surprised at Ho-Maddie. They talked about doing it for twenty years and suddenly all they want to do is boink!

Jade, I love you. But, pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase come up with something better to trash Gwen's pathetic life. Set her on fire or something.

Jade needs to get herself a damn life of her own. I am sick & tired of her turning everything like she is the victim. She is not the victim as she is the one that starts every damn thing to ruin others. She needs to STFU. Would someone please murder this slut ASAP? I am sick of everyone on this show paying but the one that needs to pay the most which is Jade.

    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?

    • Now this strikes me as funny. I have it up on my acct. The thing is I only have S2. Didn't want either 1 or 3.  Perhaps I should just list all of these that I have up.  Parodies: Dirty Sexy Money, Filthy Rich Incomplete: The Monroes, All That Glitters, Falcon Crest (have all just not all up), Once & Again S2 only Complete: Models Inc, Pasadena, Pacific Palisades, Paper Dolls, Flamingo Road
    • This is wonderful! Thank you for posting this! I loved the first two seasons and never got to see the final season when they cancelled the DVD release. I've been hoping this popped up on streaming but no luck. Happy I'll finally get to see how it ended!

    • In case it is of interest to anyone here, I have digital copies (computer files, mp4 etc.) of all of the episodes. And, besides having the files they are all up on my usual video hosting site, acct name: shallotpeel, channel it is in: Primetime Soaps and file names like  Flamingo Road S1E15 Hurricane Flamingo Road was a primetime soap on NBC by Lorimar Productions. 2 seasons. 1980-1982. Morgan Fairchild, Barbara Rush. Developed by Rita Lakin.
    • Arguably DAYS OF OUR LIVES has been brilliant lately & definitely was last week. But, here I am with nitpick & technicalities. This was the only misstep but it was just a stupid thing that should have been caught. Deidre Hall as Marlena has this one problematic line, "It didn't matter how many identities you had, I always knew exactly who you were, you were the man who saved my life." - Marlena, DAYS, 6-2-25 Unfortunately the flashback closest to it was when Marlena was on the phone, terrified because she thought he was Stefano. Yes, it's true that the line is not accurate. There were many times when she did not feel the way she is claiming because of whatever was going on in story with his 'retconned to hell & back' identity & origin story. Does it keep the whole week from being called excellent? Nope.
