Personally, I thought today was very blah.

Almost every scene seemed like it could'v been done a little better.

Din't really care for Casey and Will and the punks.

The Iris and Gwen showdown was the best part. Iris really showed her true colors. However, both TG and JL seemes uncomfortable with the scene.

Henry's gonna go to work. With that strange cap? :P Hmmm....he must be going to go pick up Mrs. DeLago! I smell a hot, unbridled afternoon of passionate love-making a-comin'!

Didn't understand the Katie/Jack/Vienna scenes. Katie's random thoughts throughout the conversation between Jack and Vienna were quite unnecessary.

:o Did Dusty say "You going to go hook up with Eliot"?! :o Get 'er, boy! Get 'er!!

Well one thing is for sure Today's show was alot better than Monday's show, still not great by any means but better than that borefest we had on Monday. I agree with you though that all of the scenes could have been better, almost like the actors were not putting there all into the work.

Totally agree with you about TG and JL not seeming to be into the storyline, they were both great, but they have been better. I have been noticing this about JL for a while now, I really don't think she likes this storyline at all and it is showing in her work, she is still great, she just seems off.

Eh...boring. The double-entredre stuff between Emily and Eliot kind of grossed me out in it's over-the-top-smarmy kind of way.

Katie annoys the living hell out of me, and her judging Vienna is BEYOND ridiculous. The only difference between them is Katie wrote a tell-all book about her incredible stupidity.

The Gwen/Iris stuff was good. About time Gwen found her backbone, even if it'll end up biting her in the ass. We all know Iris will sell her out somehow.

I loved the scenes between Emily & Dusty today, there was so much tension, I know a lot of people are annoyed with Dusty, but I like the storyline. AND I wanna k now how Emily is suppose to keep going in this storyline and be on Y&R in April if she's preggers....

Katie & Jack, could have been better to say the least..

Henry is like always on my last nerve....

Gwen and Iris were good, the best part of the show IMO, but something was off.

It felt like something was missing today, oh yeah, No Lily & Faith  Don't get me wrong I love Lily, but think her storyline could use some work.

WHERE IS MY LUKE?????????

Just catching up on my tapes now ... The Gwen/Iris stuff will always be off because Iris is not a real character, she's too black with hardly any shades of grey. However, I still think the Gwen/Iris scenes were very well acted, and the overall episode felt pacey, with exciting scenes. Will being a friend to Casey was touching, and deep. The show remains on an upswing to me. My only complaint so far in the week of the episodes that I've seen is that there haven't been enough vets.

    • I wouldn't call Tomas' cuts a modern cut. They appear to be a slim/extreme slim cut⏤cut slimmer down the sides, with a higher armhole, which pulls up/out, depending on the fit of the person's body. Again, I feel like Ms Featherstone is buying to fit the wrong parts of the body; instead of buying to fit their widest parts (shoulders), she's buying things to fit their middle/waist (which is the easiest to ultimately fix without a complete re-cut), and it shows in the finished product. And the only reason it irks me is because I worked in suit sales for nearly ten years, and I notice these things immediately. The fashion(s) on this soap are miles ahead of three of the four others (I like the fashions from Y&R), but the tailoring is a choice, especially where the men are concerned.
    • There probably would have been a good chance they knew of him, especially with his ties to Spaulding and his being involved in so much scandal (meaning there would be plenty of photos and articles around they both would have seen), but I agree the mask was silly, clearly just a TV moment.

    • I think all the suits are fit too tight, except for Jon Lindstrom's. DC lawyers/doctors are not all LA fashion elites. Yes, maybe Tomas would have a more modern cut to his suit, but an established guy like Bill wouldn't go around looking like that lonely button on his jacket was ready to explode constantly.
    • I do think there's room for optimism, especially with Amazon making enough new episodes to last until December. There's still time for the various players to get their ducks in a row. Guess we'll know soon enough!
    • I do agree it's better to just have people pop back into town. I never understood why Roger needed a mask on an island, when neither Fletcher or Alex would've known who he was. And the vine...sigh. Couldn't he have just been sent crashing through a window or something?
    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
