Well, so today is the reveal that Alexander Cambias is alive and well! Poor Zach, I hope he comes around soon - and Kendall better watch out!

Derek is still pissing me off majorly.

And Jeff is annoying too. Go Erica - find out his secret and give that guy up! Preferrably after one of your famous Kane slaps!

I'm really enjoying these scenes on the plane with Tad, JR, Jamie, Ryan, and Aiden. I like how they are all reflecting on their lost loved ones and flashing back to scenes of Dixie, Babe, and Erin when they all had light in their eyes and all was well with the world for each of them. I like how they are all thinking inside their heads that they will make this killer pay for their crimes against their family. Really well done.

I can't believe Jenkins is dead :(

Kendall - watch out!!!! This is getting good! The reveal/conclusion of this entire storyline is wrapping up nicely - much better than the spoilers read, and it all actually makes sense to me - I think the writers actually had this thought out nicely from beginning to end, unlike the Madden murder mystery. I'm happy they addressed the Erin/Ryan thing and how/why Alex killed Erin.

^^I agree Laurie, the show was good. I can't wait for the rest of the week with Kendall/Zach/Alex - this is intense stuff.

Erica/Babe tomorrow should be good too though, hopefully Erica will be able to tell Babe all about this fake death before Jeff/Josh rush her out of the room. I want Babe to find out the truth.

Today was so faced paced and so exciting! Erica finding Babe , such an Erica like thing to do. She is always stumbling across secrets and then usually doesn't let them out unless it will serve her wel being.... be interesting to see what she does with this one.

Zach's letter to Kendall OMG :( Such love such poetry, as I have maintained all along this story if for nothing else solidifies Zendall as a true supercouple and therefore it is a success. I loved all the flashbacks with Tad, Ryan, Aidan, JR and Jamie on the plane. Finally lots of Dixie mentions, poor Simone, she didn't get one mention

I love Alex Sr. I loved him before and I love him now. Such a great actor, he plays the devious, evil angle well. Should be an entertaining week!

Here is Zach's letter to Kendall....big cyber hugs to Z/K's Wicca who posted it over there :)

Hey Gorgeous!

If you are reading this, well, I wish you weren’t because it means I’ve been gone so long you’ve been snooping around and that’s not a good sign. You know I love you more than I can say but I’m going to try to put it down here so you can always hold on to it. Refer back to it when you need a reminder would you please?

Never in my entire life have I ever had anything like what I have with you and Spike. Never felt this way for any other woman on Earth. That’s you Kendall. You made me feel a love I never even knew existed. You and the Spike Man did something nearly impossible. You made me a family guy. The kind of man, no, make that the kind of father that dresses up his baby in silly outfits and takes pictures to make his wife smile. Let me tell you. One minute with you smiling or screaming is worth ten years of some other man’s life. I pity the rest of the male population because they’ve missed the excitement you brought me.

Now, don’t panic okay? And don’t get depressed. Pick up your cell and call Ryan. Do it now. Call him and tell him I said to keep you safe because I know he will.

Now fold this up and have it laminated later so it’s tearproof because I want it to be legible when you pull it out and bore Spike’s kids and grandkids with it 50 years from now.

You are magnificent Kendall and everything that is good in me is all because I had you. Always, only you.

Zach.

*sob*

Coming To America Ryan

The perfect little Saint gets on the phone today and tells Kendall he will be on his way and is coming down to Vegas aka the heart of America. Well I wonder now what Ryan has in store for him once he reaches Sin City. Hey maybe he will pick up a prostitute that looks like the Green Butterfly and they go off in search of Turd Man who plans to launch a massive fart on everyone and make the world smell worse than Roseanne Barr's leftover wastes and yep that is quite disgusting! Or the hooker actually has real butterfly wings and is a much more powerful butterfly than the twit known as Greenlee. But I bet he will gamble at blackjack and hit on a 20 and then the dealer thinks he is dumber than Paris Hilton in a calculus classroom-in this case that is not hot. Knowing St. Ryan he will just leave Kendall to fend for herself while he wishes to cash in big on the casinos down in Vegas and if they are smart they will keep ferret face away or else be subject to the stupidity virus. Side effects include thinking 2+2 equals 98, believing that President Bush is the best commander in chief this nation has ever seen, thinking that Socrates specialized in cutting off snail's heads, and believing that having sex with a penguin is the greatest adventure one can have

    • They weren't in town, but Fletcher worked at the paper (and we saw anniversary Journal headlines for the 50th, although I don't remember if Roger was one of them), and I'd think Alex would have at least heard of him due to the damage he did to Spaulding only a few years before her return to the fold. I know I have to remember it's not real life, of course.
    • YES. The videos being uploaded to Spauldingfield are almost to the point where Alan is reintroduced. They're already talking about the guy he pretends to be, and yes, he returns at a masked ball. In fact, that masked ball is almost beat for beat the same as the masked ball where Alex was introduced! Get a new schtick. Before the Kobe era, that's pretty much what they did. Characters would just show up. Maybe other characters would talk about them for a while--the Chamberlains, Tony, Maureen, Andy, Kelly, Carrie--but then they would just appear. When Hope came back, she simply knocked on Bert's door and said something like, "Hi, Grandma, I'm home again." No particular fanfare. Sometimes it would be a bit dramatic--Jennifer and Morgan were introduced when Mike accidentally crashed into their car, for instance, and Alan and Elizabeth were introduced through Jackie's flashbacks when she was remembering giving up Phillip for adoption. Nola was involved in the Roger return. Roger's return in 1980 was very dramatic, but in a way that made total sense. He was trying to kidnap a child, so dressing up as a clown did not seem crazy. The mask bit was not only silly, it didn't even make sense. Alex never knew him, so there was no reason for him to be masked in front of her. Yeah, she knew OF him, but there's that phenomenon called cognetive dissonance. If you see someone outside of an expected situation, you probably won't recognize them, especially if you never met them in person and think they're dead. I bet a CIA spook like Roger would be familiar with that concept. And he didn't have to be skulking around SF for months. Again, I will cut Long a little slack--it was not her idea to bring back Roger, she was told to do it. She never wrote for the character. It was something that was not planned. They originally went to Zaslow to offer him the role of Alan. He, of course, turned them down because that was a ridiculous idea, but then he suggested coming back as Roger. At such short notice, it's not strange his return was not handled well.
    • Eh...but neither had been in town. Know the name Roger Thorpe? Sure. But Alex would have gone crazy trying to memorize all of Alan's co-conspirators/lovers/wives and Fletch didn't even know Roger/Adam was on the island, IIRC. But who knew or should've known each other is always a little dicey when people come back to town.
    • I wouldn't call Tomas' cuts a modern cut. They appear to be a slim/extreme slim cut⏤cut slimmer down the sides, with a higher armhole, which pulls up/out, depending on the fit of the person's body. Again, I feel like Ms Featherstone is buying to fit the wrong parts of the body; instead of buying to fit their widest parts (shoulders), she's buying things to fit their middle/waist (which is the easiest to ultimately fix without a complete re-cut), and it shows in the finished product. And the only reason it irks me is because I worked in suit sales for nearly ten years, and I notice these things immediately. The fashion(s) on this soap are miles ahead of three of the four others (I like the fashions from Y&R), but the tailoring is a choice, especially where the men are concerned.
    • There probably would have been a good chance they knew of him, especially with his ties to Spaulding and his being involved in so much scandal (meaning there would be plenty of photos and articles around they both would have seen), but I agree the mask was silly, clearly just a TV moment.

    • I think all the suits are fit too tight, except for Jon Lindstrom's. DC lawyers/doctors are not all LA fashion elites. Yes, maybe Tomas would have a more modern cut to his suit, but an established guy like Bill wouldn't go around looking like that lonely button on his jacket was ready to explode constantly.
    • I do think there's room for optimism, especially with Amazon making enough new episodes to last until December. There's still time for the various players to get their ducks in a row. Guess we'll know soon enough!
    • I do agree it's better to just have people pop back into town. I never understood why Roger needed a mask on an island, when neither Fletcher or Alex would've known who he was. And the vine...sigh. Couldn't he have just been sent crashing through a window or something?
    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
