I don't think tonight's boring telecast can be blamed on Ellen. I personally think this awards show is too long and is being dominated by too many montages and categories people at home don't give a damn about (i.e. sound effects, animated shorts, live action shorts, etc).

Give me the Golden Globes any day

I wonder why the winners of the background awards feel the need to have the longest speeches.

I hate the way they are describing the scenes in movies while they are announcing the nominees ........

My god it feels like I've been watching this for 8 hours already ... I think this is the worst by far. It's had some great moments but holy crap I'm really struggling to stay awake here. There's still a ton of awards to give out and it's already 11:20

I'm liking this year better than last year. I love Jon Stewart, but he was a bad host (same with Chris Rock). They give out the same boring awards every year.

They just shouldn't have switched the placement of the awards given.
