DAYS: How can Stefano be alive when...

I think believing anything Tony says or has said in his last incarnation is just about as nuts as he was/is. Plus, it's not like all soaps don't have their inconsistencies  And then we can also consider Stefano's state right now. Frail, on life support... he's probably had blood transfusions. The greatest care money can buy, no? ;)

Hmm...maybe Tony drained most of his blood, and that's why he thought Steffie was dead. And that's why it's taking him so long to recuperate.

I wonder if EJ gave Tony the fake Steffie corpse.

you know the topic to this thread doesnt even make sense when talking about Days. The Salem Stalker storyline from a couple of years ago has ruined all death on Days, worst than anything that has been done on daytime. You just have to roll with it whenever someone comes back even if there isnt any explanation

...Tony drained his blood to cure himself of his blood disease? Has Sheffer explained this yet?

I'm still waiting to find out how he survived that terminal brain tumor back in the early 90's.

You can't kill Stefano. End of story.

Yes, but that's not the point. I want to know HOW he survived this one. I want backstory!!

Easy. It wasn't Stefano.

So do I, but it has never been said. HS may have dropped this, since he didn't write it, so you may be looking for an answer where there isn't one.

So how wasn't it Stefano? Who was it really? When did the switch occur? Why? Was EJ in on it?

Things aren't as simple as you try to make them.

We don't know. It has never been said. We can't give you an answer to a question when WE don't know the answer.

That was directed at HoganStays. I was just showing that things can't be answered as easily as she would like to think they could be.

First of all, I'm a HE.

Second, like Roman said, I can't answer the how part for you. All I know is that Stefano is alive, so the body on the island obviously wasn't his. Satisfied?

And break!

The bell has sounded. Everyone back to their corners. I see both sides, so let's end it here before it gets out of hand.

Sorry for the assumption!

I don't expect answers to those questions. Those questions were just meant to say that a simple explanation like the one you posited won't suffice because it raises way too many more questions that require answers.
