February 20, 200718 yr Member According to TVGuide.com: Days of Our Lives vet Alison Sweeney is replacing Caroline Rhea as host of NBC's The Biggest Loser, Variety is reporting. Rhea, who has fronted the weight-loss compeition since Day 1, has moved on "to pursue other interests," says the network. The hiring of Sweeney, meanwhile, says exec producer Ben Silverman, "will bring not only a great fresh face, but [also]a huge, loyal fan base." Heck, based just on the evil twins and illegitimate children who may start tuning in, the ratings could go up 10 percent.
February 20, 200718 yr Member Great for Ali. I watched the 1st season only but I'll tune back in for Ali.
February 20, 200718 yr Member Good for Ali. She's proof that with discipline you can be at your ideal weight AND maintain it.
February 20, 200718 yr Member Great for Ali!! . Maybe this will help get Days some more exposure. If NBC chose her or contacted her, that makes me feel good that they about her. Hopefully, NBC helps Days a bit too budget-wise.
February 20, 200718 yr Member It's nice to know Ali will have a job when Days goes off. Quite the ray of sunshine you are. Edited February 20, 200718 yr by Ponz
February 20, 200718 yr Member I guess with Reah's weight problems they wanted someone smaller. She looked like she should have been a contestant instead of the host, IMO.
February 20, 200718 yr Author Member Well, Ali has been like the DAYS rep for reality shows on NBC. Weakest Link, Fear Factor, Celebrity Cooking Showdown... If, God forbid, DAYS does go off the air, I'm betting Ali gets some primetime gigs
February 20, 200718 yr Member It's nice to know Ali will have a job when Days goes off. Same old garbage...
February 20, 200718 yr Member To play Devil's Advocate, what if this is Zuck-ASS' "clever" way to can "Days" but pacify fans?
