Y&R: Looks like Shemar Moore has changed his mind about Y&R!

Remeber a few weeks ago...or month...SM was quoted in SOD saying that he was "done with Y&R"???

This:

Well, now in a, i think somewhat new interview, he seems too have changed his mind alittle!

Shemar Moore on SOD Online

Did he really change his mind or what was what he said taking out of context for a headline? That happens.

ETA: I just notice that the first comment was in SOW while the other interview is with SOD. Let's not forget that SOW can be more tabloidish than SOD.

Sometimes it's just best to keep one's mouth shut, especially after you said something, got called out about it, then turn around trying to make it 'right'.

Oh..screw him with a wooden spoon!!

Shish-ka-bobs!

He said it, he obviously meant it. Any retractional statement after the fact is obviously an ill-fated attempt to save his reputation with soap viewers.

Not if you are an educated soap fan and know that SOW can be more of a tabloid and if you know that things said can be taking out of context.

Shemar's always been like that.

He's improved but the next Denzel?

Yeah, not gonna happen. lol

See that is how things are taking out of context. He didn't say he wanted to be the next Denzel. He said he wanted to be like him, Will Smith, and Jamie Fox. Big difference. Plus, he acknowledge that he has a long way to go to get where Denzel and those other A list black actors are.

ETA: And I am sure that Will Smith and Jamie Fox were saying the same thing about wanting to be where Denzel is 10 years ago.

Not so much tho. Cause in essence he's still sayin he wants to ascend to their level some day.

And while his desire to grow & improve is certainly laudable, it doesn't have to be to the detriment of Daytime in general.

They were. But they were (then & now) both infinitely more talented than Shemar.

Regardless, whatever was said was put in a magazine...He said what he said...time for him to move on and focus on what he's doing now.

I'm sick of former daytime actors thinking they're too good for it, once they leave it. Get over yourself!

Me too. Soaps make half these stars who they ARE. How ignorant.
