Showfax.com has a new script out for OLTL. It is for the contract role of 'Dr. Doug.' I haven't seen the script, but from what I've heard, he's a specialist in infectious diseases. Doug is said to be a warm, caring man in his 50s.

Also, there is one new OLTL picture at ABC MediaNet. It is of the cast and Nelly Furtado. However, it's hard to see just who all from the cast in the picture with her, since those MediNet pics. are so small.

It is the first picture in the first row on the first page of the OLTL pictures.

That's what I'm wondering. I haven't heard anything about it yet if they are. But with OLTL these days, you never know what they've got planned.

Well, at least he's old(er). He's not one of these 20 something year old losers. Hopefully, this aged, experienced actor will know what he's doing.

He sounds like he could be good....and he is in his fifities. But, there is Dr.Larry Wolek around somewhere. Just use him!

According to a TVGuide.com article, ABC has responded to the rumors by saying they have NO plans on cancelling any of their soaps.

That at least is some good news.

Who are they pairing him with? I hope it isn't Viki because I want Viki and Clint finally.

But I agree. I would like to see Viki and Clint back together. Let this new guy be paired with Dorian. Since Dorian was once a doctor herself, this would be a good pair.
