How on earth is Victoria Rowell not included? What B.S is that? Oh well not as much B.S as it is to see Khalil's name there included with Davetta. Davetta better win or I will friggin lose it!

So, I was right. They WERE all from Y&R. But no Victoria Rowell?

NO VICTORIA ROWELL?!

Bryton is nominated, but no Victoria Rowell?!

The Image Awards should change this category from "Best Daytime Actor" to "Best Actor from Y&R." No one of color ever gets nominated from any other soap. Passions Eva Tamargo and Lindsay Korman should get something. Days' Renee Jones. There's some others on ABC who deserve noms, too. Hey, if the actress who played Olivia on Y&R could get a nomination with her sole ONE APPEARANCE PER YEAR, while the fantastic Renee Jones worked her ass off and didn't get squat, I see no reason why OLTL's R.J. can't get a nomination.

These nominations suck. I don't think they even bother with it. They just Google "young and restless black actors" and slap whoever pops up on the ballot.

Idiots.

BTW Kristoff more than earned his spot this year.

I hope Kristoff wins it. He earns it above all the rest.

Y'know, just because Y&R is wellknown for having a frontburner black family doesn't mean that the actors on other shows should always get disregarded. They might not get the same frontburner status, but they can perform their asses off with what they ARE given.

Well for one thing this should teach the ABD soaps to use their minority characters...I do agree that Renee Jones has more than earned a spot though. And funny how people are mad that there is NO Vicky Rowell when she is continuously nominated and awarded

DruRocks, I do love Victoria Rowell, she's one of my all-time favorites, but I don't think she deserved, what 11 awards? Just looking at the nominations over the years it's obvious there is no rhyme or reason to the nods. They just say "What black actors are on Y&R?"

Victoria Rowell is excellent, but she is not the only black actress in daytime. What am I talking about? It's COLORED people. There are other talented minorities that could use a nomination. Where is Renee Goldsberry? Like Kenny mentioned, Eva Tamargo or Lindsay Hartley?

And Shemar Moore NEVER deserved to win. He only did because he's popular.

ETA:

Okay now I'm confused, why only post the Y&R nominations? The full nominations are much better. I'd give it to Renee Goldsberry or Davetta with Kristoff for male.

Renee Jones should head to Y&R and play someone from Dru's family. Renee and Victoria would be great together.

Now that Vicky's out of the running, looks like the OVERRATED Goldsberry has a chance of winning.
