Members ClassicsSoapFan
I noticed yesterday's script writer for DAYS was Co-HW Meg Kelly. This isn't the first time she has written a script. Isn't it unusual for HW's or Co-HW's to write a script? Are there any other writers that do that? Members Andre
I guess Meg had a vision for that episode and didn't want anyone else tainting it. She must be a Chick fan.
Members Poloma S
Meg was always a script writer before she became a co-HW, she may just want to occasionally step back in that every once and a while. It's just like executive producers who like to direct episodes once in a while (Valentini, Goutman, Wheeler)
Members Sylph
They do that all the time. It just depends how lazy they are. Or how much time they've got.

Members ClassicsSoapFan
On DAYS,Hannah Shearer was gone today in the writing credits. On ATWT,on again, off again writer Gary Sunshine has now been listed for the third consecutive show.So I would assume he is a permanent member of the staff. There wasn't anyone new to replace Shearer. Members aMLCproduction
why does days have so many writers. One would think they kould kut the budget by firing some of them writers?
Administrator Toups Posted February 20, 2007 Author Administrator Share Posted February 20, 2007 I had a feeling she would be leaving since it was Beth Milstein who brought her over to DAYS.
