Make no mistake, Jill's first 2.5 years on GL were superb, in every sense of the word. It wasn't until Beverlee McKinsey walked and Jill had the character of Maureen Bauer killed off did things start to unravel. Needless to say, JFP should never again stick her head into the affairs of the writers...

I know she had her moments, but somehow she managed to destroy the good part of her reputation and all that's left is the bad part, which haunts us every day on GH. Once you get labelled as controversial, it's destruction all the way. It's just a polite way of saying - you suck.

Lorraine certainly was offered AMC before McTavish came back (oh what a difference that would've made) but she was sick and tired of being a HW. I certainly don't think Broderick was nasty to Frons, because she remained on OLTL for a whole year after she turned down AMC. Then she was fired.

I would like to know the source of this. :) I don't doubt it, just curious.

That would've gotten AMC back on track in a huge way! Her tone and style, IMO, is what AMC represents. Plus the dialog during her last tenure was fabulous.

Indeed. She's one of my favourite writers, but I'm afraid those are times long gone. What a pity!

Mimi Leahy was no longer listed as a SW for ATWT today. And the writers names were switched a bit. Here is how they are listed now:

Jean Passanante

Christopher Whitesell

Leah Lamian

Lisa Connor

Anna Theresa Cascio

Courtney Simon

Susan Dansby

Richard Culliton

David A. Levinson

Jeanne Marie Ford

Peter Brash

Judy Tate

Interesting how now Susan and Richard are listed before David A. Levinson.

David A. Levinson's going to be writing some scripts again.

Lots of movement on that staff. What a mess.

The mess is the name at the very top.....Jean Hack Passanante. :D

The ATWT writing regime is going through a reorg, much like sister show GL. They're hiring writers who've been successful at scripts and breakdowns, so they can do both. Levinson, Culliton, Grunwell, Brash, Dansby and Tate have experience being both breakdown and scriptwriter. Cascio's going to OLTL Whitesell is gone. Not sure if Conner will stay or become a producer (her former OLTL title) much like Hurst.

Who is Grunwell? It is someone new coming to ATWT?

Gawd but the problem with ATWT is Jean Passanante. Why doesnt anyone get that????

I wonder the same thing... To wreck a show in such a fashion... Actually, that's not strange since she wrecked the previous ones she worked for in a much more flagrant way, but the real mystery is how did she get a job, and a top one, for that matter.

I don't see the point of this reorganising. Does anyone know why are they doing it?
