What the heck is going on. First Renee is OUT now she's likely not totally out and now t he same can be said for Shayna.

I'd be fine with both going recurring. Saves money and we don't lose the characters, although for the actors it is no longer a steady paycheck, which sucks.

I think that Shayna is not totally out because it would not make sense to get rid of Steve and Kayla's daughter just after her father gets his memory back. I still say that Days will recast the role and put the new actress on contract.

I like Shayna and I'm glad the character is staying. I like that when characters aren't being used daily they are kept on recurring until they are used.

Stephanie annoys me! Yet, I can put up with her on a recurring basis. I'm sure she will be critical to Steve and Kayla's storyline at one point or another, like a second wedding.

I bet she's recurring UNTIL DAYS re-casts Stephanie. I hope the rumor I saw that Robyn Richards (ex-Maxie, GH) is up for Stephanie, she'd be good in the role IMHO.

Good idea, but Corday likes Josh too much to put him on recurring. Why couldn't he have liked someone else?

Corday and Josh are good friends. I'm guessing that's the reason he's still around. I don't mind him though, but recurring should be enough.

I'm glad Shayna is staying! I like her as a person and she's not as bad as some are saying. imo I think she'll improve her acting skills after some time. She's not been on the show that long. Jason Cook never improved, yet he got a huge fanbase. I'll never understand that though.

Yes, unlike a lot of the young actors, Shayna's acting flaws still betray signs of acting intelligence, she's thinking about her choices and making some good decisions. With practice and encouragement she should improve.

If I were her I'd soak up every minute with Stephen and Mary Beth.

There's no rumor that Robyn Richards is up for the role of Stephanie. There's only been a few fans suggesting she would be good for the role.
