In the end Susan is a fellow castmate of, VI's, JB's, etc. so I don't see why it's a stretch to think she might wish them well. There is no way she would diss AMC in public, no way. But I don't see why she couldn't or wouldn't speak about her fellow co-stars, ones she worked closely with, leaving.

IA that Susan Lucci should speak up. It's not like ABC could touch her, or there would be HUGE backlash. I'm sure viewership would be cut down in half.

You guys must be joking man.

Lucci and Barr don't even like each other off set. They were "cordial".

I honestly don't believe Susan Lucci gives a damn about Julia Barr or any other "Pay roll"

veteran leaving the show (unless it's Jackson, then she'd fight).

Lucci probably feels that AMC's glory days featured Erica and that's how it should end. She has

her own interests to protect as eventually they'll be asking for pay cuts and putting her on

recurring.

I'm being sarcastic, but come on. It's true.

Most actors, including Barr, have huge egos and believe that they are the "special ingredient"

that can save the day. They don't much see the more realistic picture.

Lucci figures that she has less competition now for the fan's adulation. She is the "goddess" of

AMC and is all it needs IHO.

I know that none of you will like reading this, but Robin Strasser isn't whining, "Come on you

guys--show Vicky more."

Victoria Wyndham (Rachel on AW) fought for Carl Hutchins (her love interest) to be kept, but she never lifted a finger for Pat Matthews or Liz Matthews or Alice Matthews.

Susan Lucci would probably raise a stink over Walt Willey, but that's about it.

I Couldn't agree more with EK4L.

Susan didn't even stick up for (Jill ) Opal when she left and they acted together for years. It's all about Buisness if AMC/ABC Can get rid of Edmund,Opal,Brooke and bring back the 'fetus' they sure can get rid of Susan or better yet cancel AMC For good which I honestly think Frons is itching to do.

Even if Susan were to speak, would it do any good? At OLTL, an almost unprecedented number of castmates voiced support for DG to their fans when he was let go. TSJ, KA, KDP, ES, HBS,and even mild comments by ME and PS could be counted among those addressing the issue. Instead of heeding them or fans, DG's exit date was pushed up a few weeks...and then came the AMC VI, JB and TI announcements -- together with a bunch of new contracts/casting calls for OLTL.

The ONLY thing they will understand is if the affialiates complain loudly enough and/or ratings drop. With L and L for this sweeps, most likely not happening.
