Would Kate's adoption be legal since Tad never signed away his rights?

Anyways it's a big fat joke the next time Tad tells JR or Jamie to take responsiblity for their actions considering he's getting away with murder

Yes and no.

Yes it is legal where Dixie is concerned, she signed away her rights. She could have gone to court after she got out of the hospital and the courts would have given Kate back to her. Why? Because there is a grace period where the mother or father could change there minds. Dixie did not do that, and 4 years is to late, hence SHE has no rights.

However, Tad has rights because he never signed Kate away. Therefore, if the case goes to court, Tad would get custody. Dixie would need to petition the court to have her parental rights reinstated and as a separate issue get visitation.

I don't see how McTavish thinks that people are gonna root for Tad and Dixie after all this. I hate Dixie with a burning hot passion, but Tad treated her like crap for MONTHS, even calling her a murderess, and laying big time guilt trips on her.

Tad's gone bat [!@#$%^&*] crazy IMO

Since we all know that Tad did it. Who helped him with the fake tape? How did Tad convince the security guard to help? When did he make that Tape? Was it after he realized that he framed Dixie by accident? Or was it before to give himself and alibi?

Easily.

#1 He said that he saw Zach and Dixie with the body. (Lie)

#2 He said that the tape was fake (True)

After Zach is found not guilty he is going to confess that he did kill Madden. That would make Tad's #1 (Lie) and #2 (truth) the "truth". Get it??

Stupid, yes, but that is the only thing that I can think of.

Acutaly in the legal sense, this whole Double Jeopardy thing is pretty right on. Lame how they're doing it, but it's pretty accurate. So that is one thing we can not fault the hack for.LOL

I guess it's good that no one is going to jail for Madman's murder, and Greg is gone. Kinda like a double win, IMO.

I know it makes Zach look bad, and take the rap as a murderer, but he's not going to jail, so it's not that bad. Bianca killed Micheal. Erica's killed a few people in her time, LOL, etc, so I don't think it'll be a permenant hit to Zach's character.

AMC is already heavily out to push T&D and Kate. The new promo for the three of them even has a song that so fits the promo at the end.LOL I know most of you don't think MMT is going to be able to fix T&D to the fans, but this woman not only got to keep her fetus despite massive outrage she's made some that hated him/it swtich sides. So it's been done and it'll be done again, IMO. Especially if they make David the big bad man who keeps T&D from their miracle child.

    • I guess it depends on your device.  I can watch CW shows via their website on my Windows PC.
    • Ooooo A Liam episode? I'll watch it later today. They sure are churning the daily episodes out early.

    • Welcome back, Shawn Douglas! It's been a while. It really is too bad that the writers don't really have an interest in the character because there are still a lot of ways that he can be used effectively on the canvas. He should have been a part of the 60th anniversary celebrations as well. If anything, just to represent Bo and Hope. And I'd much rather see Jada paired with him than possibly with Theo. But I enjoyed him getting caught up with Belle, and comforting her. I'm sure they'll find their way back to each other at some point but I do like them as divorced friends. I just hope we see it play out onscreen. Belle being a dick about Sami again was unnecessary though. And we finally saw Liam again!  I'm curious to see how this storyline is going to play out, and who's going to be weaved into it. He and Abe do work well together too. And we learned that he has a kid. Hopefully, we'll learn more about his character in the future. But I'm not really sure about Johnny and Chanel suddenly having problems with raising Trey. They've wanted a baby for so long, so I don't understand why this is even an issue. They should know by now what it's like to raise a baby. But I did enjoy Johnny's scenes with EJ, and that Johnny still hasn't refused to forgive him. This storyline was/is very clunky, but having the two of them be at odds is the right decision. There's so much story potential that can be drawn from that. As for Chad... there was no time for us to see his reunion with Will, but there's time for us to see him talking BS with Leo? I don't get it. And I don't get all this random dating app stuff either. Leo and Javi were boring af too. If we're forced to endure them, can they at least have some real conflict? The two of them losing the baby was the perfect opportunity for it.

    • I enjoy BF better on Days than on YR.   Chad is greater than Cane, in my opinion.
    • Ick! Seeing MS and BF making out as the characters onscreen was just ewwww.
