It would be unusual for a FiCore writer to stay on with a show. But, of course Sheri is so much more than just someone who recently went FiCore. And, yes, the monster who is now gone was the one responsible for EOB playing Theresa & for the Ava/Harris romance & an unfortunate whole lot more. I love Tamara Braun & in November I was exceptionally pleased with her story, her performance & her outcome. I am really very pleased with Ari, too. I saw that you're big Jarlena & for y'all it is puzzling that John has been so MIA. I also saw that you love Eileen Davidson. She is one of my faves. When she did the 5 characters, that was my favorite JER story. It is doubtful she'll be back at DAYS unless its another chance to play Thomas Banks. I am one of a group there who are big fans of Wayne Northrup. Thnks!

Well, it doesn't make any sense for soaps to continue to program for 4 sweeps periods, but apparently that's not going to stop them. I only watched GH & DAYS. But, I can pull out 3 performances & give them A+s: Ari Zucker on DAYS, Finola Hughes on GH and back to DAYS for a second Tamara Braun.

Newbie wrapping up the week, I liked Friday much better. Ashley, Jill & Diane were all good. I first saw Trevor St. John as the oldest son in this great movie, “Serving in Silence: The Margarethe Cammermeyer Story”. Now here I am just very underwhelmed. It's like in my mind he's gone from being a good actor to this wanker. I have promised other Y&R fans that I will keep an open mind. Can't decide something based on one week. But I am glad I'm not alone in seeing this business threat as very lame.

I feel creepy saying this because she's a child but I cannot stand Violet, the whole package, actress & character! Now, Charlotte's "Papa!" drives me crazy but I do realize the actress is good, so that's not as bad as Violet. I really truly want Hayden to come get her! And my memory tells me Eddie Maine used to be entertaining. And when I see Wally with the guys he's good. But, NEddie ... wasn't good at all, not one bit! How weird is that? Well, it's true I hate her politics, so that exists. But, really my dislike of Diane is separate but just as bad. 😉🤣 The only thing I enjoyed about Diane was when Robert humiliated her over Holly! So that's ugly!

Well, when you are dealing with soap fans you really run into a huge variety of opinions, on anything!

I was not a regular of that podcast but I vividly remember the first thing I read that he wrote. It was a write up of AIDS/HIV early on, on all soaps where it had come up. And, he began with AW & went forward & the soap scholarship was excellent.

I don't see suicide but I also don't see the problems others are seeing with Adam. Or Joss with Adam, although I was very glad when she began to tell others about Adam. And I think Josh Benard is very talented. Having established that Adam only studies, pops pills, attends class & wants to be around Joss, how would they involve him with other people? Dex, Trina & Spencer could come in the room when he was there studying with Joss & they could then meet. Also, J. Benard is ahead in the game already as he now has a union card, has a gig on his resume, has made some money & has an idea of what happens in television production. I was just listening to an audio interview with Robert Kelker Kelly & his first job was as a stand-in on a primetime show. Then he got promoted to being one of the background actors. He said the most important first lesson was patience & that what you do most on television production is wait around. Brennan is Pikeman, yes, but when did we find out he was head of the WSB?

You are in my heart today. Today is one of those days. Unfortunately it's an Endiversary. On Dec. 8th, 2009, CBS announced the cancelation of ATWT. A bad sad day in soap history.

I remember the day I found out that Robert Newman has these incredible pipes & can sing his heart out & has done all these musicals! He can also play piano. And, on AW, they did a KBAY Match Dare telethon show. Amazed again to learn that Anna Stuart can sing, I mean really sing!
