  1. Tuesday, December 19, 1967 #1316 Karen sure knows how to walk into a room and kill the mood. I guess it's all because she really is lonely and frustrated but does she really have to voice every opinion that comes to her at every single point? Such class! Such elegance! Althea resigning so she doesn't have to put Matt in a difficult position. Nowadays, you'd see Althea forcing Matt to go through it & making it as difficult as possible. For some reason, the little marital bits between Matt and Maggie didn't feel all that authentic to me. They were almost too showy. Nick feeling shy about getting a present for Greta & Maggie draping her arm around Matt following Althea's resignation were really touching moments.
  2. Monday, December 18, 1967 #1315 Karen basically put her punani on the table for Matt Althea's "is pregnancy a situation or an occurrence" was hilarious and hilariously bitter. Her explosion later in the scene, in which she asked what consequences Nick would be facing for getting her pregnant was brilliant. At least Matt had the good sense to look embarrassed.
  3. She started in 1985.
  4. Still making my way through all the episodes, so hadn't seen those scenes! Thanks for all the posts, I hope more are coming again soon Jill v Dina is so much fun. I think I have Brenda Dickson's first scene back & it was with Dina. I'll try to get around to posting it one day when I finally get a new computer.
  5. Can you, though? I thought the possession occurred following Dale's foray into the red room. Am I forgetting something?
  6. That's a real shame. That was an amazing season-ending cliffhanger & a great shock.
  7. Sweet Jesus & all that is Holy in this world.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cyCKcZ-BBuM
  8. One can only hope that what was started with SEARCH FOR TOMORROW, ANOTHER WORLD and now THE DOCTORS will be ultimately continued in a more prominent fashion. I guess we can hope! Do I remember correctly that retrotv has six years worth of episodes (i.e. 3 years in the current, two episodes a day, format)? Or did I dream this? I know they mentioned the amount of episodes/years they licensed.
  9. Extraordinary premiere to Season 5. Tense and scary, edge of your seat entertainment. Everything worked (except the Red soldier, the rat-like scientist and the girl with the age-inappropriate hairdo). The reunions were very touching (yes, I cried) and God damn that post-credits shocker was beautiful! Carol was the motherfucking bad ass of the YEAR!
  10. I was wondering the same thing. I'd be very cool if this was a previous, short-term medical storyline that they touched base on.
  11. Thanks! A sad situation but at least he seems to be OK.
  12. Dear Jesus. Somebody actually likes the pine weasel nonsense? I've heard it all!
  13. December 15, 1967 #1314 Liz & Polly are hard to take at times, despite the fact that I liked the actresses. The actor playing John Rice is so, so wonderful! It seems as if Polly may not survive and, with his acting, those scenes are going to hurt! DAMN, Matt is planning to invoke the morals clause and fire Althea? Talk about a Friday cliffhanger!!!
  14. Fabulous! Really digging the atmosphere/look/lighting of these pics. What's been going on with Seungri? Missing a lot, I have to catch up.

No new album for Adele in 2014 http://music-mix.ew.com/2014/10/09/adele-25-no-new-album/?hootPostID=a3c2dc2299f782bd04221b26a3cfe123
  16. I wish they hadn't used that same publicity shot they used for everything else (though it is beautiful). Couldn't they have come up with something else?!!
  17. December 11, 1967 #1310 Liz reminds me SO much of a young Susan Walters & someone else I can't quite figure out yet. Her power of denial is incredible. When she was talking to Matt, all bubbly and sweet, but turned to the camera for a second looking devastated at what she guessed Matt wanted to say, it was a chilling moment. "I haven't apologized yet, have I?" "For what?" "For trying to strangle you!" "Oh, that!" DEAD Matt just loves the sound of his voice, doesn't he? LOL
  18. I just nearly cried when I saw the missing episode from last week has become available. I have fallen in love with this show soooo fast.
  19. WHERE THE HELL ARE EVERYONE'S COMMENTS???!!!! Come on, bitches, don't make me talk to myself here! I THOROUGHLY enjoyed yucky Gideon's takedown. What a decrepit piece ofshit! Charlotte was so pathetic wanting to kill herself because Yucky Gideon cheated on her. Bitch, please. It was just a convenient excuse to get Hot Cop into Emily's orbit. Speaking of hot cops, those locker room scenes should be mandatory for each episode! Nolan's hair is horrid. What respectable gay rich bitch would go out like that? DEAD at David's Knight-Riderish hideout and Victoria using him to make his own daughter pay! DEADER at Charlotte turning psycho after Emily tells her the truth (a bit anticlimactic, if you ask me) and trying to burn Emily and the Stowaway into nothingness!
  20. Wow, this is quickly becoming a mess, with everyone discussing various episodes from this week that some have seen, some have not, spoilers galore from future stories etc I realize this was shown almost 50 years ago but still.... I wonder if we should 'uncancel' this show and move it to the main section LOL Just watched the December 08 episode (#1309) Althea's sessions with Bill are great. That moment when Althea makes that almost primal face and says "Nick treats me like a... woman!" was fantastic. It was only the second scene with Polly so far but I felt a little annoyed at having to watch her shtick again, although the actress is good. Still, there's something really touching about John in those scenes, although I also did think that he spends way too much time that he normally shouldn't have. Steve and Carolee! So sweet. Because I didn't read carefully enough, I know they become a big thing, so the fun of discovering that is gone, but they were so so cute together. And so funny with the file thrown at the nurse's face. DAMN! at Althea panicking when Nick asks her to marry him (Am I the only one who finds that gruff face hot?) and running off.
  21. I should really get around to finally watching all the short-lived soaps (EMERALD, PAPER DOLLS, TITANS, etc.). Still working through SAVANNAH.
  22. They flirted awkwardly from opposite sides of the room, argued about it, went jogging, flirted awkwardly, argued, made up, argued, made up, argued, made up... So, yeah, didn't amount to very much at all! lol
  23. Thanks for posting this. Such great backstage stuff and access to things I never thought we'd ever see, but also such intense, infuriating condescension from the reporters. How unprofessional to keep asking the actors how they feel about working on such low forms as soaps, or editing Lucci's claims about Erica Kane to come on right before Dano's humbler assertions, making Lucci look OTT and ridiculous. And the especially cringeworthy segment with University. Still, great to see various, average people talking about soaps (not just overweight middle-aged women), including men!!! And writers talking about how something doesn't make sense/may not be earned. Imagine that! LOL at Braeden being his motherfucking diva self. I would cut him if he tried to do something like that with my scripts.
  24. Absolutely. The character Corley had signed up to play was being decimated, so I can't blame him for leaving. As for PSM, it seems she wasn't all that interested in TV or even acting for a long period of time and after the quality of the show nosedived in Season 3 and Fallon was lobotomized, I would have been stunned if she stayed. In fact, it seems to me she stayed longer than expected. Don't panic but we agree again. lol Really interesting character, portrayed by a great actress. That's really cool to hear! Did you ever see him on THE KILLING? So beautiful, and really talented.
