  1. Eeeeeeew at Jax f-cking some nameless whore in a bathroom in San Diego and then lying his ASS OFF to his supposed best friends. But so much yes to Tiffany basically telling him bye and hanging up on him. Y'all better leave Queen Stassi alone. "Goobye, Scheana's eyelashes. Goodbye, Scheana's turban. Goodbye, Scheana's unitards." Scheana can't even get enough people to show up at her wedding

Madonna's new album, Rebel Heart, out on March 20, 2015! The album cover is a lot of fun & I can't wait to listen to the songs that have been released on iTunes. She's certainly disappointed me with a few of her recent albums but I'm still hoping the next outing is good!
  3. I am criminally behind (just finished the 1967 episodes...) but the scene where Nick tries to take an interest in Althea's personal life (besides their baby and wanting to get married) and almost managing to do it, before quickly returning and screaming "dammit, we GOTTA GET MARRIED!" is nothing short of brilliant. Funny and sad at the same time. Althea's reaction was so real--laughing from the shock, telling Nick he almost did it and she believed him, only to then crush him by saying it's not enough. Utterly fascinating.
  4. Episode 3 Could Tom Schwartz be any gayer for Tom? The scene of them working out came off as if they were just having a chitchat before going off to f-uck each other I can't with Lisa's fabulousness. She has a swan? It was endearing to see her be so nervous over Pump's opening night. She may be Queen but she's also human! I agree with Cheap's earlier post that it's weird for Stassi to be on the show if she does not work at Sur. But, still, she's fantastic and I'm not going to question her presence too much. Stassi: "Every May, the flowers start blooming, the days get longer and Kristen gets suspended" lol Jax was, once again, an unbelievable mess. Forget the fact that he's seeing a therapist for the purpose of announcing that he still has something for Stassi, but then not to understand why there would be hatred and a grudge? Clueless! As what's her face put it, and very accurately I might say, "You wanna say hi to her after you fucked her best friend?" James showed up for work after being fired and was surprised when they asked him to leave? What the hell! He just finds new depths to sink to every week. However, I don't blame Lisa for agreeing to rethink his firing following the performance James gave during the letter scene. We all know it wasn't how it would have gone down in real life (probably) but James the actor showed up and Lisa played her reaction to that perfectly. Under that context, it makes sense. I still want him gone, though.
  5. Thanks for the info! Messy roommates are the worst. Still, Tom doesn't exactly look like the type to focus a lot on a clean, orderly house lol
  6. Just caught up with RHBH and was coming here to comment but I don't need to: Exactly my thoughts, complete co-sign. The Two Lisas were my favorite part, closely followed by Yolanda's story and Eileen's. You can really see how Eileen's comment about being like Kristen (without the evil psycho part) is true.
  7. Yes, it was played with a complete absence of melodrama, he talked about it matter-of-factly, and it ended up being great. It doesn't hurt that it was a scene with Susan, of course. Another really touching moment came when Josh was telling Doug that he wished he hadn't returned because he doesn't want his pop to remember him as being arrested. Donovan gave a heartbreaking reaction to Josh's words.
  8. The first three seasons of FALCON CREST have been released. The first two as normal/wide release, the third as On Demand. FALCON CREST was extremely lucky to air following such a megahit as DALLAS. It's definitely a big part of why it went on despite its plunging writing. KNOTS wasn't anywhere near as flashy but it really did make it on its own merits (writing, acting, directing) and held on really, really well.
  9. Yes, Season 8 is very peculiar--stilted, with episodes like this being the exception. Laura is Love. How could anyone not love her? LOL
  10. The thing is, I actually agree with this. I think her involvement in the Olivia story, as well as Chip and "Will the Circle be Unbroken" were great Lilimae stories. But this season also spent a lot of time making Lilimae (and Val) into the village idiot, when it even bothered with her at all (she would disappear for whole episodes and come back for a scene or two maybe and then disappear again). The rest is just a matter of personal preference. I loved her interfering and annoying Val. It was a crucial part of their relationship and it was great to see them grow and mature from that. But I can also see how one would hate that lol
  11. That happened in the previous episode. Wonderfully hilarious! You must really hate Lilimae if you think this season put her to good use!
  12. And I can't argue with that!! Speaking of Abby and her role as a mother, I just watched the brilliant season 8 episode "Our Secret" (I never thought I'd use 'season 8' & 'brilliant' together), which features lovely scenes of Abby being a fun, relaxed mother with both Olivia and Brian. Of course, it's all laced with impending doom, as it all ends with Peter openly (but secretly) going after Olivia. It features one of my favorite Karen/Abby scenes up till this point, in which Karen masterfully uses her history with Diana to illustrate how Abby and Olivia's relationship could really go south if Abby underestimates Olivia's feelings. "Karen, you're right. And you are out of line!" Ben has a fabulous meltdown when he comes downstairs and sees that Lilimae never turned the alarm back on. It's tragic and he's so right. It also features the beautiful directorial work of none other than David Jacobs, who makes the ladies (especially Karen and Abby) look drop-dead gorgeous here and, most importantly, elevates the very basic Anne storyline to something resembling art with Anne's near-psychotic but visually stunning dreams/fantasies/visions of dancing with Mac. I was treating it with cynicism when the episode started but one has to wait until the end to see the whole picture. There's a breathtaking scene about halfway in: Paige is walking down an empty hospital corridor, her pumps making a lot of noise--even the manner in which she's walking is careful, deliberate. She grabs a single rose from the bouquet in her hand and drops the rest in the middle of the hallway. Later, Anne's reaction to Mac's card captured something really painful that the writing hadn't explored before. And that ending scene with the frenetic mixture of Mac/young Mac/Greg/young Anne and old Anne all dancing in Anne's vision, only to be followed by Paige walking away down that same corridor. As she turns around the corner, all we hear is her shoes as the credits come up. I am in awe. Only KNOTS LANDING could pull something like this. Stunning.
  13. Episode 2: God, it was hard not to laugh at Scheana's bday being a total mess and her cutting her foot. Poor baby. BUT... "how much is this going to cost me? I am a f-cking waitress!" was hilarious. I LOVED Stassi! "A black rose? Black like my heart!" Yaaaas, hunni! Ew Tom's apartment was one nasty mess. I feel embarrassed just looking at it. Is he sure he was crying about the fight in the video and not the state of his home? Tom: Jax has not made a correct decision one time in his life. LOL Was Jax desperate to provide material for this episode? His sudden decision to dump Carmen didn't make any sense. It's bad enough that he took Carmen to this nasty hole in the wall to begin with but then, on top of that. to break up with her? Ugh. But at least the pizza looks good. (And you certainly can't expect class from him). Carmen READ Jax and I love it! Grow up, Jax you sexy dumb idiot. She was absolutely right. All hail the goddess Lisa! She was FANTASTIC in this episode. Bitch can headline not one but TWO shows and do it flawlessly. Lisa: "The gorgeous man is going to go down very well… Actually, let me rephrase that. No, I got it right the first time!" "You guys are going out and acting like trash, really!" PREACH it! And then she fired James. YAAAAAS.
  14. I just watched the premiere. I love Jax & I don't care. He's a mess, dumb and more than just a jerk but I loves looking at him and he is entertaining me. He and Lisa are why I'm giving this a chance. I'm not getting Kristen. She doesn't make sense at all. Stassi--I like her. I thought her 'return' was perfectly handled. Lisa is Goddess. James pissed me the fυck off. What an annoying, insufferable assh0le. Tom and Arianna seem nice. In general, they're all so dumb I feel like my IQ went down just from watching. Of course, I'll watch more and see what happens lol
  15. I've been on & off NEIGHBOURS the past few years but I'm checking out the October episodes and it's really, really good. I wish I had come back earlier. The article is right about the humor--it's little, silly scenes and stories, but they're often at least amusing if not downright funny. And the Chris/Josh, Nate (even though I am having some difficulty with the actor) and Paige storylines are fantastic. Can't say I am crazy for Amber & Daniel but they work for me too.
  16. Yes, a transition to the worst, most mind-numbing season yet! Just the names Nicole, Allegra and Ashley are enough to make me shudder. Sadly, there wasn't really anything there to actually miss about Mark. A huge, wasted opportunity for both his years on the show.
  17. Oh, no. No no no no no. Abby's protective mother side was just one of her many dimensions but she was often not very good at it as well. Abby was at her absolute best when she wanted something. Usually something she shouldn't have. When she schemed & lied so convincingly and, yet, you knew. I have no words to describe what a great soap opera moment that is and how visually stunning it was (and that music!).
  18. I love MELROSE's nasty, trashy, soapy dialogue. Taylor: "Amanda, I'm SO sorry Kyle stood you up at the altar!" Amanda: "All roads lead to Taylor McBride." Michael: "Megan, don't be angry, but you've got that 'Someone called me a hooker' look." Ugh, Megan is such a dumb ho for going back to Michael but I do like them together. The whole plot with Spider & the Mancini Medical Center is so damn stupid. Yes! Taylor's the one who orchestrated the Christine plan. Nick is 10x more interesting than Kyle. It's sort of weirdly sweet that he wants to use this whole plan to be best buds with Kyle again. The Billy/Sam/Jennifer/Jeff mess is unbelievably boring. The whole show is again, after a good stretch of episodes. YES at Coop being offered in secret 10 million dollars if he manages to remarry Lexi. That's fun! Nick? Or Billy? Ah! Thanks. I was going to ask because I thought I remembered something like that but, then, I told myself it can't be so. Wow. Poor AS can't even make actual, established backstory that we saw ring true and work.
  19. Season 6 Nick Reardon is a great recurring character for this show (and so, so sexy). And he just showed up and f-cked Susan Walters on her hospital bed (nothing says sexy like an IV), revealing that they're in cahoots. That was such a Season 3 moment. And did Billy just say he used to teach ballroom dancing. Did he really just say that??? God, what a useless lug he is.
  20. RHBH Lisa Vander-fabulous-pump took that fool Brandi and wiped the floor with her--and she didn't even have to lose any class, be nasty or even derogatory at all. Yes, boo, that's how you do it. I knew it was the right decision to watch because of her (and LisaLips and Eileen). I agree that Kyle was an idiot to get involved. If I were Lisa, I would have reacted the same way to hearing Kyle was there, privy to this conversation. Kyle better work to make this right. Way too little of Eileen but the show is not The Eileen Davidson Show, so that's fine. I can't wait for them to reveal more. It doesn't sound like she and her husband necessarily have problems, though. Bickering does not equal disaster in a marriage. It's more of a dynamic, which some people have and some people don't. All I'm hoping is that Eileen the HousewivesPerson doesn't end up coming off negatively and affecting Eileen the Actress in my eyes. LisaLips is greatgreatgreat. Wonderful to watch. Comes off real, nice, funny (in that LisaRinna sort of way) and a joy to observe. And how funny was the call from her mother: It seems the two of them are exactly the same person, at least where their humor is concerned Yolanda is another highlight: I have been enjoying this light material with her trying to be positive, her daughters and then this stuff about her mom (which may or may not turn for the worse in the next episode). Um, Kim: Whatever. I did really like Kathy. I thought Mauricio was hot the past couple of episodes but I saw his teeth in this one and I'll pass (for now. I reserve the right to become thirsty for him again at some later point). Moving Forward Count of the Week: 2
  21. That is not the image I should have in my mind before going to bed....
  22. Were those bitches serious, stalking J.R.? Hiding in bushes and behind curtains. And it all magically helped Brandi get past him. Adrienne reminds me a lot of Marysol and Elsa from MIAMI (what is going on with that? Haven't seen season 3 yet and I miss it!). Mauricio is a hottie. Grrrr. I really like that she's just there to find work and make money. Yes and YES.
  23. Decided to start with this season's BH. Thought it was an interesting episode but I have very little prior knowledge of any of the women. Kyle wanting to be friends with Lisa again seemed genuine. Don't think being drama-free will last, though. Is Lisa serious with that Bitch Boudoir of hers? She is [!@#$%^&*] fierce! She's the main reason I picked this up and I'm not sorry. "I know me and I can go there, like the little anorexic, barking Chihuahua" Anorexic? Hunni, please. The ladies dancing near the end of episode 1 was very visually rich and striking. LisaLips is so much fun. I love that she finds her jokes funny.
