Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
So Candiace stupidly admitted that the tossed the glass at Monique in her statement. And she wonder why she lost the cast. 😂 What a moron. Wendy continued to grate my nerves. Why is she so immersed in the situation? One would've thought that Monique tapped on her skull instead of Candiace's. Also, for someone who brags about having 4 degrees and her husband having 4 degrees and being an attorney, she knows NOTHING about the law. Honey, the best way to win a case is to undermine your opponent. So do they think Monique was supposed to just admit guilt? Uh no. Thank God Monique has a sane attorney that isn't Wendy's hubby. And I am so glad that Monique makes her triumphant return next week. Push through, Mo!

Sorry about that. I remember the comment being mentioned on here. Well I hope this is addressed in the interview but I doubt it will. Alan is definitely a company man despite there no longer being a company. 😒 I wanna know too what writer thought it was OK to greenlight that drivel. While I can tip my hate somewhat to these shows trying to diversify in the 90s, I still can't get over how atrocious the writing was at the same time too. It just remains to be a constant reminder why soaps are so antiquated now. Look at them now even. Still using Black and Brown characters as window dressing; meanwhile, primetime, streaming platforms, and finally film are starting to realize the power of diversity. This. Does he know something we don't know? Last I checked, none of those people in power are producing anything nowadays anyway. Why protect them? I would've loved to hear the actors in the last few years of ATWT and AW ream Goutman for his mismanagement on their shows. Same with actors on GL about Wheeler/Kreizman or even Rauch years earlier. Sometimes, this makes me wish that Daytime Confidential would've capitalized on this because despite their many flaws, they were messy enough to ask the questions many of us were thinking.

Was it you or @P.J. that said that Denise used to call Camille "high yella?" I remember bits and pieces of that era, but what stuck out mainly with me was that they wrote the obvious trope for Black women--light-skinned Camille being nice, educated, a doormat basically. Meanwhile, Denise, being of a darker hue, being angry, uneducated, etc. That irked the sh-t out of me seeing as once again they failed us Black viewers by providing us with real complex characters. If Alan will allow her to discuss it. His interviews lack mainly because he spends more time trying to protect people/companies that are no longer existing. I think he'd have WAY more viewership if he allowed folks to spill all the tea on these shows.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
SLC was a stellar premiere. I think this show is gonna be a hit. For one, I love how the women have genuine connection to each other and it isn't forced. But my first impressions are: Mary: I don't like Mary already. I just think she's foul. Foul for marrying her grandpa. Foul for the sh*t she said to Jenn. Foul for being a charlatan. Just foul. Meredith & Lisa: Icy b*tches. You can't even tell the two apart but they will give us good drama. Whitney: I like her. She's bubbly. Heather: Said some questionable sh*t, but I think she'll be OK. Jen: The star. Point. Blank. Period.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I most definitely think that #5 played a pivotal role in this show. Focusing on those dueling wedding that no one gave 2 sh*ts about killed this show. Busting up the cast after an explosive 2nd season damaged the show too. All the show simply had to do was either add Alexia back to the lineup and have strong cast of 8, OR swap Marysol and Alexia's roles. In general, I feel like Bravo cancels sh*t too prematurely instead of allowing an audience to be built. I feel like DC was cut too quickly. Especially when their reunion was fire and that following year after the cancellation was chaotic for the DC women--Michaele running off with that rockstar, Cat/Stacey/Mary divorcing...

I don't think they'll be cast changes regardless. The network would be stupid to scrap anyone from this cast. If anything, Candaice will probably quit if they don't fire Monique, which I don't see happening. Why? Because I picture the Monique/Karen/Ashley coalition poking holes in Candi's arguments of violence at the reunion. Knife-gate is gonna be brought up. Plus, we know that there was almost an altercation at the finale party between the Bassets and Darbys. That's gonna be brought up too. Also, Bravo doesn't give a sh*t about physicality on these shows. If that was the case, Porsha, Nene, Adriana, Rinna, Tamra, Tre, Margaret, Toya (of M2M), etc. would've been fired and let go. Bravo is all about exploitation and they know Candaice v. Monique is the story for years to come a la Porsha/Kenya was on RHOA.

They really didn't. She possesses the ONE thing I cannot stand in a housewife--someone who beats a dead horse.

I think we're ready. Especially, if we have Stacey Abrams leading the way. I think Warnock and Ossoff are gonna take both seats if the cards are played correctly. Kemp is a thief and cheat too might I add. And I think she's gonna be offered Perez's role as head of the DNC. I think she'd do way more than he would.

The Politics Thread
I know but I don't think she'll wanna do it again. I really think the Democratic Party is about to put her in an even more powerful position anyway.

Not that I know of. I'd love for her to given they had to cheat in order to prevent her win. I think she's gonna focus her energy on making sure Ossoff and Warnock winning in the runoff in January after Biden wins.

I can thanks to Stacey Abrams. She's been working here like a workhorse to ensure more people vote without the GOP being able to pull stunts. I just hope she is given the world after Biden wins. She needs to take Perez's position as the head of the party after this.

We're about to go blue here in GA. I can feel it!

I'm losing hope. This sh*t feels like 2016 all over again. I feel like we're about to become a casualty of the democracy curse if this orange idiot gets another 4 years.

He should've possibly reached out to Nelson Aspen and asked him to help moderate as he has history with SFT and he is a decent interviewer.

Even on the shows he didn't work on though, he doesn't know how to moderate or ask the right questions. He just be all over the place.

Thank you @Forever8for the tag! I guess I am going to have to numb my way through this interview b/c as many have pointed out, Alan is not the best interviewer.

Not surprised. That man was never interested in Erika. I'm just ready to see her fall from grace. And she better get ready b/c Rinna is about to make this story of the season.

I enjoyed EVERY second of Karen ripping Wendy to shreds. Those 4 degrees don't mean sh*t to Karen's life experience. Wendy thought she was gonna lord that over Karen and flopped. Also, I am love that Karen quickly pinpointed that Gizzy is at the crux of it all because of her flop, faux relationship with Jamal. Back to Wendy, she is not smart. If she was so smart, she would've realized that Robyn/Gizzy set her up to be demolished by Karen. Speaking of idiots, did Candiace really think Monique was not gonna countersue?

Despite being seen very much, Kristen (IMO) still played a pivotal role in s7. Even though she annoyed me at time, looking back, I couldn't imagine the season without her.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
See, I am the total opposite. I am like stack the cast. Realistically, all these shows need 7-10 housewives. That equals more drama and less filler episodes. Season 7 of NYC shows why more is best. Potomac is thriving even more because the network increased the cast. Atlanta needs to have a full season with 7 housewives. I've always felt like that's why season 7 wasn't as great as it could've been because the network basically edited out Demetria and should've went ahead and kept Porsha full-time that season. For ATL, this should've been the season where they should've dragged in the equal amount of new housewives to the vets (Porsha, Kenya, Cynthia, Kandi). This should've been a season of 8. And if Bravo would stop trying to cast folks with "clout" and instead look for nobodies, this show would pop again.
