  1. Oh Lord. Matt and Charley both look a hot ass mess. And what is wrong with Adam Thomas' fiance face? Botox'd to death.
  2. *sighs* That promo makes me miss David Canary.
  3. For the longest, I was who is Holly? Then I realized you meant Stacey. If Magali is open to coming back next season, I feel like they need to drop Misse. I they can keep Stacey and Seema, both who I adore, b/c they have no issue with calling Dawn on her sh-t, which never gets old with me.
  4. I hated it. I at least want to see the world spin around and space or whatever. Only reason I loved the cornfield opening was the theme and graphics. it's too bad they never released a second version with the other characters Is it definite that they planned a second version? ATWT only had a cast of about 25-26 at that point. This version featured most of the cast, either at the forefront or in the clips in the background. I remember hearing rumblings that there was second version already filmed but I guess it never came out. Honestly, I think the show probably just filmed one opening with the characters they loved to write for (with the exception of Bob, Kim, Lucinda) and center the show around 24/7 at that time.

The cornfield one.

  7. I hated this opening so bad. The images, the music.... UGH! Just hated it!
  8. Damn! I guess the rumors probably came out at the reunion and Chyka put her foot down. I don't blame her. She will be missed though.
  9. I thought it was Klein too. Oh well. I totally forgot that Monti Sharp was on ATWT for a stint too. I thought his story with Camille/Ben was absurd. I swear they used to give Ben (and those surrounding him) some of the most absurd stories minus the church fire and later the Marshall Travers story.
  10. The church fire episodes are up:
  11. Nuh-uh. Maybe it felt better because a) all of the sudden GL got more publicity about it's cancellation than it had in the previous 20 years combined, or b ) it had fallen so far that the gruel EW served up looked better than the [!@#$%^&*] on a shingle she'd delivered in Peapack, But I will never forgive the WTFery of Billy and Vanessa's wedding (after most of their reunion being served up off-screen, BTW, and I know that's a fact because they'd sucker me in with spoilers and then be on for a grand total of two FREAKIN minutes while some huge non-event in Otalia's relationship played out for a majority of the eppy) being usurped by Buzz and Lillian and two non-credited Y&R homage-inspired "guests". They freakin' killed Alan and dumped his ashes three feet off a beach. I may hate, loathe and DESPISE the way Luke's dead lover ate up more than half of the last month of the show, and that Katie got more sympathy than the dead matriarch of the show---at her own funeral. Or that that bitch Janet befouled Carjack's honeymoon suite with the afterbirth of her bastard son. Still doesn't make GL's ending better. I love you dearly b/c of our love for CarJack and ATWT, but GL was better in it's final week than ATWT. I didn't care for Buzz and Lillian's insta-wedding with Billy and Vanessa but it was a nod to history as Lillian begged Maureen for forgiveness--something we never saw her do before sharing a wedding with Maureen's best friend. That was what was great about GL--they acknowledged and made nods to history. I do agree that Jeanne Cooper and Christian LeBlanc popping up was stupid as hell; however, I knew Jeanne wanted to be on GL's finale badly b/c she's always expressed (as a fan) if she wasn't on Y&R, she would've wanted to be on GL. ATWT didn't. Besides CarJack's wedding and the final scene with Bob/Kim, the final week was a dud thanks to Goutman.
  12. I used this theme on my blog that I was doing here awhile back--do you think this version would've been suitable? SN: This YT poster has done modern version of Y&R, GL, AW, and other soap themes too. Should check them out. That probably would've been better. I did thought like the 1993 opening and it showing all the seasons. I wonder how it would've mashed up with the 1986 theme, as I hated the 89 theme of ATWT.
  13. Do you think that GL would've needed to go the UK route where they needed a permanent outdoor set along with a studio? That's what I thought was gonna happen with Peapack but I was sadly mistaken. To do that too, I think that GL would've needed to be out of P&G's hands and for CBS to invest in the show all the way, which I doubt would've happened. Even though I was glad ATWT was put out its misery (b/c of JP, CG, and P&G), it still had life to it. And EON would be a big hit nowadays as procedurals and murder mystery shows are HOT. I'd add Another World to that list, @Khan. I think the show just needed a few things retooled and it would've been fine. *gasps* I loved the Jelinda's theme opening ('93). I loved the toilet flush opening too. They just needed to switch the sound of the world rotating for something more pleasant. I hated the 02-06 opening though. That theme was garbage. I did love the cornfield opening though. I was just pissed there was only one variation and we didn't get one with Lisa in it!
  14. They sure did. That's because as dreadful as Ellen was as EP, she at least had the better sense to bring back characters we loved. Plus, they also had Jill Lorie Hurst, who cleaned up a lot of GL--as much as she could.
  15. I love Ross but he shouldn't be surprised that Finn won't choose him as of late. Especially, when his record is tarnished thanks to Ross. I think their relationship will be repaired but it'll take time. With Emma, it'll get worse. I do think it'd be somewhat funny and karmic if she did wound up sick with the illness she's faking to have. That would be a nice twist to the story.
  16. Yeah. GL was practically decimated to nothingness in the end. I don't think it would've been easy to fix as ATWT or AW both could've easily been. I think with ATWT all the show had to do was refocus the show on the Hughes and resort back to its community centered, glacial paced, complex stories. The cast didn't even need real retooling. The character that were needed were already there. Just drop a few of the deadweight and bring a few legacy characters back for the younger generation and we would've had a show. I would've brought back John to put Lisa and Lucinda back at odds again. For the middle aged crowd, I would've brought back Scott (Lisa's son) and Seth. I would've created a young female ingenue, preferably a daughter of Frannie or Sabrina, to be the new Hughes heroine of the show. Also, I would've brought back MJ, Dani, Ryder, Aaron, Hope, Jeremy, 1-2 of the Stewart quads, and Jessica/Ben's adopted kids, Sarah and Curtis to add diversity.
  17. I guess that ending with Andy was supposed to be a red herring and make us assume that Andy was possibly Kat's son? However, with photos out about Kat's son potentially being cast on the spinoff can already eliminate that. I'm thinking that maybe Andy has ties to Carl or Charlie and is the actual stalker of Ronnie. Ian is officially dead to me. I thought him using Lucy's death and the memory of his grandmother, Lou, to get these people to get off his back was utterly gross. I was cheering when Denise called him out on using Lucy. Of course, "good ole' Mick" was there to tell everyone to listen to Ian. I wish that Tina or Buster would've just had a line where they called him out on not being loyal and toeing the line, but scolding others when they don't do it with him. Does he not realize his family suffers in this too? Only good thing about all of this is that Kathy and Buster kissed. I just hope they don't engage in an affair and Buster just drops Shirley before pursuing Kathy. Martin is an idiot. Who doesn't realize that products have serial numbers nowadays that can be tracked? They might as well return all those toilets to Jack's flat and be done. However, I am sure Stacey will come up with a stupid scheme, which will land Martin in deeper trouble. Roxy ... As I said the other day, get rid of this character with her crackhead ass. Also, IDK why Glenda didn't take the money and still return to Ronnie's? What is Roxy gonna do? What a stupid way for her to put herself back in a bad spot with Ronnie.
  18. Oh Emma! I can't believe (well yes I can) that she is faking an illness to keep Pete and Finn in Emmerdale. I wonder how long she'll be able to keep up this lie. As I said in a previous thread, I like Cain but I hate how he resorted back to his brutish ways tonight. It wasn't that serious for him to pop Pete in the face. If anything, he should've popped Holly's lame ass for scheming to get Pete over there. Glad Belle took the morning after pill to prevent pregnancy b/c we don't need anymore babies for the foreseeable future. Chrissie telling Andy she loved him was so awkward and unconvincing. Being the sap that he is, Andy of course bought it. I did find it hypocritical that Andy tried keeping Chrissie from finding her biological dad when Andy was adopted too. Good or bad, Andy should encourage her journey to find the truth. I also found it odd that he'd side with Lawrence given that he had Andy battered and bruised a few weeks ago. I am all about forgiveness but not that damn fast.
  19. iva and john's son right so brother to lily, rose craig and margo so many possibles ughh caseys prison pal matt could have been mj I've said this countless times. The writing was there. Plus MJ's real name is Matthew John. I swear JP and CG were morons.
  20. A bunch of Degrassi alumni will be popping up on the upcoming season: http://www.ew.com/article/2016/05/06/degrassi-next-class-reunion-photos I noticed in the pics too that a huge social issue spoiled in the pics too. I think the upcoming season is gonna be nice and juicy!
  21. New Zealand has their own version of Bravo.
  22. Sneak peek of the ladies of The Real Housewives of Auckland: http://m.nzherald.co.nz/entertainment/news/article.cfm?c_id=1501119&objectid=11632910 I'll be watching this. Here's a sneak peek of the RHOMelbourne reunion too. Pettifleur tosses a pillow at Janet.
  23. Now he's made Tina into a liar and a cheater too. I just don't trust him with heavy issues b/c he falls flat. Always.
  24. (re: grooming comment) Not surprised. Typical DTC not to realize that and not do that. Especially, when he's a gay man himself. At this point, I don't have any hope of him doing anything correctly.
