  1. You're welcome!
  2. Ugh. Really? I hope Lauren and Steven aren't together. What I do hope they remember is that Steven and Stacey were close. I hope they utilize this as Stacey hopes to clear Max's name. I hope Steven plays a part in this while nailing Jane and Ian in the process.
  3. Jesus Christ! Can Sharon give Phil f-cking space?! I'm finding her so pathetic. I pray that Sean O'Connor restores Sharon to what she used to be. I truly don't care about Jane. Plus, I don't understand why people pity Ian either. Glad Steven is back as I hope he raises pure h*ll and calls Ian and Jane out on their sh-t. The Linda/Linda scene was stupid. Yet another scene of them trying to force something that isn't. I also don't ever remember Linda and Jane being bosom buddies. They should've seriously left Gavin dead. I find the character to be dreadful and uber campy. If he takes Denny with him then oh well. He's been irking my nerves as of late too.
  4. Thank GOD if true! Candace bored me to tears, Michelle was painfully NOT funny, and Raven was a disgrace. Raven and Michelle were a disgrace for co-host, who were supposed to represent people under 35. Their minds stayed wrapped up in pop culture and didn't know sh-t about politics or even tried. Especially, Raven. I do hope that they would add Jedediah Bila to the panel as the 6th co-host. Though I totally don't agree with her political stance at all, she served well as the Conservative on the panel. She will be needed at the start of the next season. I hope this show goes back to what it did best ... focus on politics! Leave the pop culture and vapid talk to The Talk & The Real.
  5. OK. Just watched and @DRW50, this exit was meh. I agree that Maria should've had a role in Carla's exit given their history. It would've been nice to see Leanne and Ken inserted in there too. I don't expect a parade for Carla when she exited but damn. It could've been more. I still don't care about this Callum story as it wasn't murder. It was self-defense. All of this over nothing.... Funny how in the end, Tracey did lose to Carla inadvertently. Rob wants nothing to do with her, and now Michelle (Carla's BFF) has Amy.
  6. A lot of people share the same sentiments when it comes to Gail. Everyone enjoyed seeing old school Gail, who wasn't the comical dolt she's become now. I miss uptight, high-strung Gail. Gail being comedic doesn't do anything for me. I am OK with Sally being comedic b/c her pairing with Tim is everything. Gail, on the other hand, I don't buy it, and I didn't like her always sniffing after Michael's whiny ass.
  7. I wonder if you picked her mind if she'd still feel this was a great choice. Again, I feel like Bill/Michelle/Ben were set up perfectly to be the new leads of the next generation of Guiding Light and they squandered it. I would've love to have seen Bill, Ben, and even Danny vie for Michelle affections than the material that was given for all of them in the last stretch of the show. Especially, Michelle. I hated ALL of Michelle's stories when NSA took over the role. She just became miserable and whiny. Given that MZ eventually died, it would've been nice for Roger & Holly to have ended on a good note for me. My perfect ending would've been for MADD to have allowed MZ to continue on the show and we saw Roger get diagnosed with Lou Gehrig like MZ had. It would've humanized Roger and I would've loved to have seen Holly be the one to be by his side as the once powerful Roger health's deteriorate. It would've been great to have seen Hart and Blake play pivotal roles in this too. Also, to have Ed, who could've been brought back at this time, be conflicted. Originally, not wanting to help Roger but finally putting to bed old demons with his enemy. It would've been more powerful to see Roger be taken down by an ailment than recast him and then later usher him offscreen. It frustrates me how they didn't use MZ's illness a story when he was all for it.
  8. Was Ellen Weston the one responsible for Ben Reade's molestation? I loathed that story seeing as Ben lived a wholesome life with Fletcher. I hate how they demolished this character when he could've added so much down the road alongside Bill and Michelle had the writers had any sense.
  9. Understanable. However, I am sure many of those fans probably recanted their statements if they watched the show from about 03-09. While the show was overall in a better place in 1985, I can't really say that bizarre OTT trash like the Charlotte Wheaton storyline was that far removed from GL's last decade. Um...you thought TGL was in a good place in TGL? Now you've done it. This will be my first cat-fight on the SON boards!!! (I jest, I jest. Sort of, LOL!) But the show was in a better place. The stories might've sucked then but c'mon. You know you'd trade those rough years in the 80s of GL over GL from 03 to 09. At least the show still had a bit of heart then. At least the sets still looked plush and the acting was on point during that time too. The Peapack years pained me to no end.
  10. Oh OK. Thanks for verifying that. I hated that entire arc going back from Roger using Dinah for her inheritance. Looking back, I feel like that story should've been scrapped and we should've finally gotten Holly & Roger up until MZ's exit from the show. I still get pissed over Holly and Roger never getting their happy ending.
  11. Did everyone enjoy Corrie tonight? I knew Carla would miss Tracey and hit someone else. I just hate that Carla and Roy's relationship will be destroyed in the process. He was her surrogate father for the longest. Fiz & Tyrone.... Can we give these morons a stable income so we can move on from this story? I don't care about them struggling at all. Seriously, I don't. Plus, I am over Fiz and her constant moaning. I was hoping her ass got ejected from the car and died instantly. That would've been a perfect ending to this stunts week. Glad this Callum story is being wrapped up even though much like Carla's story, it was worthless and should've ended right before it even took off. Kylie killed Callum, who was assaulting Sarah, so this shouldn't even be a big issue. They should've went to the cops from the start and I am sure Kylie would've gotten off with a slap on the wrist.
  12. Understanable. However, I am sure many of those fans probably recanted their statements if they watched the show from about 03-09. Was Megan McTavish HW when Roger was being drugged by Dinah and Hart?
  13. I didn't mind Bradley Cole when he was Richard but Jeffrey never did 'it' for me. Jeffrey was too skeevy for my taste. How about when he was the supposed "stud," of SF and he screwed Beth on top the Spaulding Den Desk...(I can imagine what BevAlex would have to say about that..."Even BLAKE didn't stoop that low!" ) where Alan's coffee and muffins were waiting for him, and then we see a close up of Alan taking a big bite out of one....I have no idea what that was for but I HATED Jeffie from then on...(who could forget the Japanese restaraunt he did Beth in...GL under Conboy went retro Skinamax... I totally forgot that Beth boinked Jeffrey. I tend to forget the Conboy years as the show was all over the place then. I'd guess Larkin's appearance in later years - either that or the show just not remembering. I think many say 1984 was the downfall. Yes, for me the signs of the apocalypse were there in 1983, but by 1984 was show was being decimated, and by 1985 it was basically in tatters. It only started to revive in 1989. Was 1984 the year Hilary was killed off? If so, that explains it. I thought 85 was when fans started to hate the show b/c of Blue Orchid (or whatever it was called) mess occurred, which I know many GL fans loathed.
  14. Lizzie, Alexis, and Gretchen stayed calling Tamra on her sh-t and looked what happened to them ... gone. Andy removes anyone that dares to come against his trashy OC fave.
  15. Is it Tiara's fault?
  16. I didn't mind Bradley Cole when he was Richard but Jeffrey never did 'it' for me. Jeffrey was too skeevy for my taste.
  17. Wasn't 1985 the beginning of the downfall of the show until about 88/89? Also, I never understood why they didn't bring Kyle back in later years to fight with Josh over Reva. Would've been a better choice than Jeffery.
  18. I don't get Jennie McAlpine sticking around either. Fiz is another character that needs to get lost.
  19. And that'll never be b/c they just take advantage of this character and Diane Parrish. Sharon helping Bobby today just killed the character for me. Like you said, it was a total backflip--a regression for the character. I don't even know where to put Sharon at this point. She flip-flops as the days go by.
  20. Why has God forsaken me?! http://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/coronation-street/news/a795195/antony-cotton-signs-up-for-another-year-on-coronation-street/ Who's d-ck is he sucking to last this long? In other news, Carla/Nick's wedding episode tonight ... I just thought this was one arc that went on too long. Even though I love Carla, I can't even pity her at this moment. I'm kind of glad she's going away. I just wish she'd kill Tracey in the process.
  21. @DRW50, Ben and Stacey scenes were good but I can't understand why Ben would even back Bobby. Especially, after Ben almost took the wrap for Lucy's death. Normal reaction would be for Ben to sell everyone up the river without a second thought. In those scenes when Ben said that his nephew wasn't capable of murder, I was hoping that for once Shirley would've tossed Heather's death in Ben's face. To take a shot at the Beale genes or something. This was the ONE time she would've been rightful in taking a shot at Ben. IMO, the only matriarch left on this show is Denise. She's the only one left with moral standing. All the other so-called matriarchs have left the building.
  22. Not since GH in recent years have I watched a show where I loathe 90% of the characters. This show is utterly disgusting. Bobby killing Lucy has sucked this show into a vortex that I don't know it can recover from. Ben, Lucy, Martin, Sharon--why are all these people defending Bobby still?! If I were Max, Abi & Jack would be dead to me once I was released. Seriously. This is one attribute I like about Stacey--the b-tch is a crazy dog when she has a bone. I always felt that should've been Stacey's story the past year--using Martin to unravel the truth behind Lucy's death and saving Max. Roxy needs to die. I can't say this enough but she needs to go. This character has been on rewind from the start.
  23. Nope. The article says she asked for it but he asked that he does NOT give her spousal support.
