  1. Was Ellen Weston the one responsible for Ben Reade's molestation? I loathed that story seeing as Ben lived a wholesome life with Fletcher. I hate how they demolished this character when he could've added so much down the road alongside Bill and Michelle had the writers had any sense.
  2. Understanable. However, I am sure many of those fans probably recanted their statements if they watched the show from about 03-09. While the show was overall in a better place in 1985, I can't really say that bizarre OTT trash like the Charlotte Wheaton storyline was that far removed from GL's last decade. Um...you thought TGL was in a good place in TGL? Now you've done it. This will be my first cat-fight on the SON boards!!! (I jest, I jest. Sort of, LOL!) But the show was in a better place. The stories might've sucked then but c'mon. You know you'd trade those rough years in the 80s of GL over GL from 03 to 09. At least the show still had a bit of heart then. At least the sets still looked plush and the acting was on point during that time too. The Peapack years pained me to no end.
  3. Oh OK. Thanks for verifying that. I hated that entire arc going back from Roger using Dinah for her inheritance. Looking back, I feel like that story should've been scrapped and we should've finally gotten Holly & Roger up until MZ's exit from the show. I still get pissed over Holly and Roger never getting their happy ending.
  4. Did everyone enjoy Corrie tonight? I knew Carla would miss Tracey and hit someone else. I just hate that Carla and Roy's relationship will be destroyed in the process. He was her surrogate father for the longest. Fiz & Tyrone.... Can we give these morons a stable income so we can move on from this story? I don't care about them struggling at all. Seriously, I don't. Plus, I am over Fiz and her constant moaning. I was hoping her ass got ejected from the car and died instantly. That would've been a perfect ending to this stunts week. Glad this Callum story is being wrapped up even though much like Carla's story, it was worthless and should've ended right before it even took off. Kylie killed Callum, who was assaulting Sarah, so this shouldn't even be a big issue. They should've went to the cops from the start and I am sure Kylie would've gotten off with a slap on the wrist.
  5. Understanable. However, I am sure many of those fans probably recanted their statements if they watched the show from about 03-09. Was Megan McTavish HW when Roger was being drugged by Dinah and Hart?
  6. I didn't mind Bradley Cole when he was Richard but Jeffrey never did 'it' for me. Jeffrey was too skeevy for my taste. How about when he was the supposed "stud," of SF and he screwed Beth on top the Spaulding Den Desk...(I can imagine what BevAlex would have to say about that..."Even BLAKE didn't stoop that low!" ) where Alan's coffee and muffins were waiting for him, and then we see a close up of Alan taking a big bite out of one....I have no idea what that was for but I HATED Jeffie from then on...(who could forget the Japanese restaraunt he did Beth in...GL under Conboy went retro Skinamax... I totally forgot that Beth boinked Jeffrey. I tend to forget the Conboy years as the show was all over the place then. I'd guess Larkin's appearance in later years - either that or the show just not remembering. I think many say 1984 was the downfall. Yes, for me the signs of the apocalypse were there in 1983, but by 1984 was show was being decimated, and by 1985 it was basically in tatters. It only started to revive in 1989. Was 1984 the year Hilary was killed off? If so, that explains it. I thought 85 was when fans started to hate the show b/c of Blue Orchid (or whatever it was called) mess occurred, which I know many GL fans loathed.
  7. Lizzie, Alexis, and Gretchen stayed calling Tamra on her sh-t and looked what happened to them ... gone. Andy removes anyone that dares to come against his trashy OC fave.
  8. Is it Tiara's fault?
  9. I didn't mind Bradley Cole when he was Richard but Jeffrey never did 'it' for me. Jeffrey was too skeevy for my taste.
  10. Wasn't 1985 the beginning of the downfall of the show until about 88/89? Also, I never understood why they didn't bring Kyle back in later years to fight with Josh over Reva. Would've been a better choice than Jeffery.
  11. I don't get Jennie McAlpine sticking around either. Fiz is another character that needs to get lost.
  12. And that'll never be b/c they just take advantage of this character and Diane Parrish. Sharon helping Bobby today just killed the character for me. Like you said, it was a total backflip--a regression for the character. I don't even know where to put Sharon at this point. She flip-flops as the days go by.
  13. Why has God forsaken me?! http://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/coronation-street/news/a795195/antony-cotton-signs-up-for-another-year-on-coronation-street/ Who's d-ck is he sucking to last this long? In other news, Carla/Nick's wedding episode tonight ... I just thought this was one arc that went on too long. Even though I love Carla, I can't even pity her at this moment. I'm kind of glad she's going away. I just wish she'd kill Tracey in the process.
  14. @DRW50, Ben and Stacey scenes were good but I can't understand why Ben would even back Bobby. Especially, after Ben almost took the wrap for Lucy's death. Normal reaction would be for Ben to sell everyone up the river without a second thought. In those scenes when Ben said that his nephew wasn't capable of murder, I was hoping that for once Shirley would've tossed Heather's death in Ben's face. To take a shot at the Beale genes or something. This was the ONE time she would've been rightful in taking a shot at Ben. IMO, the only matriarch left on this show is Denise. She's the only one left with moral standing. All the other so-called matriarchs have left the building.
  15. Not since GH in recent years have I watched a show where I loathe 90% of the characters. This show is utterly disgusting. Bobby killing Lucy has sucked this show into a vortex that I don't know it can recover from. Ben, Lucy, Martin, Sharon--why are all these people defending Bobby still?! If I were Max, Abi & Jack would be dead to me once I was released. Seriously. This is one attribute I like about Stacey--the b-tch is a crazy dog when she has a bone. I always felt that should've been Stacey's story the past year--using Martin to unravel the truth behind Lucy's death and saving Max. Roxy needs to die. I can't say this enough but she needs to go. This character has been on rewind from the start.
  16. Nope. The article says she asked for it but he asked that he does NOT give her spousal support.
  17. Of course this bitch is asking for spousal support... B/c she's lazy as f-ck. Yolanda's whole existence has been sucking off of rich men and using her 'beauty' to do so. She's teaching her daughters to do the same. Look at how they've latched onto men of wealth (and fame). I feel like this is part of the reason why she always loathed LVP--she envied her. LVP works for her wealth and is successful at it. Yolanda does not have that drive to do so and it kills her. It kills her that LVP could really do it on her own, and she (YoLyme) can't.
  18. @Cheap21, RHONJ trailer released: http://www.bravotv.com/the-real-housewives-of-new-jersey/season-7/videos/the-real-housewives-of-new-jersey-are-back It returns July 10th. A YT clip of the trailer while it is available:
  19. Wait a sec? I thought David filed for divorce.... At least that was what Yolanda sold at the reunion. She's such a damn liar. http://www.people.com/article/david-foster-asks-end-spousal-support-yolanda-hadid
  20. I'm glad Dina isn't coming back. I never got why fans liked her. I always felt she was a f-cking bore. They should bring Danielle's crazy ass back. That b-tch kept RHONJ must see TV for me.
  21. Tonight solidified how stupid this story was and how it has destroyed so many characters. Jane: I didn't care about Bobby killing her as it was pure karma. Sadly, I'm sure she'll survive and skate away with no punishment rather than the scars and bruises and brought upon herself. I hope Steven comes back and raises hell on her trollop ass. Ian: He has to be the most destroyed character out of this arc. It is to the point where I want Bobby to off his ass too. Ian had his low moments but this whole story has been the lowest. The fact that it is OK for him to now turn his back on Bobby b/c of Jane but not Lucy is pathetic. He sucks as a parent and if any sane writer had any sense, they'd stay taking this character through the wringer for years to come. He'd be one lonely old fart ... with his precious Jane. Kathy/Sharon: I wanna scream at how they've had these two character be part of protecting Bobby. Glad Sharon saw the light but it is still too late. I can't even look at the both of them the same. Finally, I will be so glad when DTC's final episodes air. I am so sick of him force-feeding to us that Linda and Mick are these pillars of the community when they aren't. If anyone was to deliver those lines that Mick spewed to Ian, I would've preferred Denise or Dot--two women that are close/have history with Ian and also dealt with their share of deranged nuts. They should've been the one to tell Ian to straighten up, confess the truth, and stick by that dud that is Jane. Not Mick! If Sean O'Connor does anything, I hope he decimates the Carter clan or get rid of them altogether. Ugh!
  22. Meh.... I'm not impressed. I still feel like they should've brought back Gretchen, Lizzie, and Alexis but whatever. I'll watch and see if it is any good. It is obvious that this season is Vicki v. everyone 2.0. Video for those who can't see it on Bravo. Watch before it is quickly removed:
  23. I hope Jane dies too. Serves her right for covering up Lucy's murder.
