It really was. I find myself going to watch most of that arc on YouTube every few months b/c I am so mesmerized by Dano's work. I loved too how Lorna was hard on Felicia while Jenna (as annoying as ever) didn't wanna believe that her mother was a drunk. Their scenes in the cabin when Jenna finally realized the truth was one of the few times I felt for Jenna.

That's why I miss Linda Dano so much. No one could cry like her. She could cry beautifully one second and give you a good old ugly cry the next (i.e. when Jenna miscarried the baby & she was calling for help). Linda also needs to give a workshop on how actors should play drunks or alcoholics b/c I've never seen anyone play one as good as she did. Not on daytime or primetime.

Yeah EE totally wasted him, which still upsets me. I feel like DTC never had any true direction with him. I hope he doesn't feels that he is too old, as it is never too old to chase after his dreams. I think he is sexy. Much sexier than a lot of these twinks running around and getting major roles. Jamie Lomas just oozes sex appeal; he's like a fine wine, seasoned just right. Let me stop b/c I'm drooling and having unsavory thoughts right now.

Interesting... I'm still surprised that Jamie Lomas came back to the show b/c he was once adamant in taking a shot at Hollywood. He was also spotted out there with Ricky Whittle, who's career has really taken off since making the move. I'm wondering if Jamie threw in the towel for now b/c of his daughter or some other reason. I hope he takes another shot at it b/c I think he's a decent enough actor that he could land something in the USA. He's also eye candy for me so...

For me, it is rare that I get into HollyOaks b/c of Ste. As you've pointed out, I find him so draining. It was his constant moaning with Brendon, which turned me off to him. I peeked in to watch Friday's episode and why is Warren hiding a body in the attic? Didn't HollyOaks just have a character bury someone in a wall not too long ago? Someone is running out of ideas...

Obviously, Seema & Stacey were kept so that Dawn's lame duck ass could have someone to film with. It's sad how I loved both of them the past 2 seasons, and now I can't stand them. Both of them can go. And Ampika is a treasure to this show. The second she goes, this show is totally done. It's bad enough that they won't bring back the other MVP, Magali. I am glad though that on Twitter, many people are expressing how the show needs to bring Magali back and get rid of Ester.

Very true, but at the rate this show is going, the Bartons aren't too far behind. Sucks b/c the family that needs to be plucked off (the Dingles that is) keep multiplying.

Speaking of Gabi, I so forgot that she had a younger sister and Bernice had a younger daughter. And they better NOT kill my Ross! This show has too much doom and gloom at the moment. If Michael Parr is leaving, just have Ross leave town. We don't need yet another Barton death. That poor family gets killed off more than anyone.

I wonder if someone at CBS was kicking themselves after the first 2 years of Capitol and it's dwindling ratings compared to the stable, readymade audience they had with SFT. But Capitol, much like Edge of Night, is a show that would so flourish in today's climate.

Didn't B&B never score higher than Capitol in its ratings too? If so, I just find it odd and karmic that neither show has been able to capture what SFT did.

But that was a stellar time slot IMO. The show was placed nice and cushy between it's two stable sister soaps. I don't know why P&G would moan about that slot during that time.

Much like Meg Ryan, she's an ungrateful twat when it comes to her soap background. Sadly, not everyone can be proud of their time in daytime like Julianne Moore is.
