Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I agree with everything. In terms of Ramona and Sonja, they were in rare form. Calm, lucid, shooting to kill. They absolutely annihilated Aviva, they gave her the rope and she hung herself, repeatedly. Aviva came off HORRIBLY, as thick as a plank and an absolutely entitled, nasty bitch. The kind of nasty bitch who couldn't even lie properly, her "apology" was ludicrous, she was bubbling with rage the entire time. And I kept thinking back to Sonja really laying it out there in St Barth's about where Aviva's "ass would end up" after calling her a double dealer. Sonja's got the dirt on Aviva and Aviva knows it. Heather came off great, totally sane and I liked her dynamic with Ramona. Carole vs Luann...honestly I really was on Luann's side, Carole seems like such a snob, attempting to pass off her participation on RHoNYC as some kind of journalistic experiment...and the "friend jumping" thing with borrowing the dress? Such a mountain out of a molehill. Luann came out swinging. Can't wait for next week!

Not only could they not afford it but Joe and Melissa Gorga were actually committing fraud by living in that house. Joe Gorga built it with a speculation loan, theses loans specifically forbid the builder from living in the property...which is exactly what they were doing. When the loan expired Joe Gorga transferred the loan into a balloon mortgage...well we know how well they managed that since they put the house on the market, in addition to their ghetto shack on the Jersey Shore.

Well I've read the court filing with my wife (a lawyer) and it's bad. Really bad. Jacqueline and Chris Laurita (in addition to three in laws) have all been named in the bankruptcy and alleged to have embezzled, defrauded and conspired together to (according to the judge) "provide for their increasingly opulent lifestyle" to the tune of $55 million in creditors. Frankly, I've always though Jacqueline seemed sleazy and that her husband was too good to be true (just like her ex-husband and his wife, you all recall them, the insurance fraudsters?)...so this doesn't really surprise me. What does surprise me is how much money is involved. It's a boatload of debt and to be accused of personally stealing $7 million from a company they left in the shape of a husk is pretty damning. Makes Teresa's $11 million bankruptcy look like peanuts.

NYC: Aviva is batshit crazy. "He was protecting his CHILD!" she screamed in defence of her elderly father...oh honey, you are a few fries short of a happy meal. Clearly, losing that leg led Aviva to be coddled like a glass doll her whole life, I'm sure she was never corrected and never told "No"...thus all her nasty, illogical, entitled bullshit has been reinforced as positive behaviour her whole life, what a mess Aviva is. I still like having Luann around...I think not having an apartment in NYC and the show not filming at any point in the summer has really hurt Luann. If they shot during August/September/October/November that would provide them with plenty of footage from The Hamptons. I want NYC to return with this exact cast, the show improved SO much this season.

You're joking? Right? I've never seen such a fake bitch in my life.

I disagree about what Aviva said regarding Ramona. I don't think Ramona drives Sonja to drink and party in an attempt to make herself look better. Ramona had no problem being a boozy party girl in Season 1 when Sonja wasn't on the show. As well, Aviva was incorrect about Ramona and Sonja being the ones dancing on the tables in St Barths, so she constructs an argument without facts. Furthermore, her "you two were sleeping naked" comment had a stench of homophobia attached to it (add that to her father describing his latest side piece as having "European features" and Aviva quoting Rush Limbaugh and it's a clear picture of where her head is at). And let's not even touch the "You didn't welcome Reid to the island! It was traumatic for me!" bullshit because it's total nonsense. Ramona called it when she said an awful lot of women would lose a leg for the advantages Aviva has, which was a great retort to Aviva's "You think I don't know PAIN?! I lost a leg!" when the conversation was about how rough life is for Sonja. It's always about Aviva and Ramona called it right. Luann came across amazingly during the Sonja portrait scenes. That was just plain sad to watch and Luann was a first class friend and a good lady there. I hope that what we saw was the REAL Luann, the person she is when the cameras aren't rolling, I really liked that person.

NYC was off the chain this week! Aviva is certifiable. A truly vile, brittle hag who lives in her pampered existence with blinders on. Her brunch with Ramona was insane, Ramona OWNED her ass. Her father crashing Ramona's fundraiser (only to be ejected!) was riveting as well. Luann and Sonja taking down the Morgan Family portraits was also really intense viewing. Sonja has balls of brass, the way she tossed out "White trash does not apologise" to Aviva's father was a masterstroke.

NYC: who else LOVED Sonja's elegant slam of psycho Aviva over pizza and sparkling water. That was amazing! Also, Heather impressed me as being so logical and calm...her retort to Aviva's freaking out about Sonja and Ramona "They didn't ruin my vacation." was a thing of beauty.

They look terrific for their age. Love them both so much!

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I cannot agree more. I stopped watching NJ because it became so negative, hateful and bitter. It's just draining to watch that much negativity. NYC has done a good job of lightening things up and did the show ever need it. That's why I loved Vancouver so much (aside from my bias in knowing most of the cast and it being my hometown), it had the drama, but it also had the lightness, fun and glamor of how the Housewives franchise started out.

Jaw dropping is the word for it. Kelly actually lost the plot and wasn't 'fun' crazy. She was just batshit crazy.

I couldn't care less about RH of Miami...there are just too many franchises, I think it's time to cancel New Jersey and focus on improving the rest of the shows.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I think Season 3 will be the zenith of Beverly Hills...at which point it will fall apart unless it's retooled. I think a lot of these shows don't retool soon enough, we're seeing that with NYC, it takes work and it isn't smooth but it's often very necessary. Jeana was awesome. Not quite funny like Lisa or Bethenny...but just as sly and a major straight shooter who often said what the audience was thinking. Love everything about her. I hope she returns.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Adrienne is a stupid bitch and I've been over her from the moment things started to go awry with Lisa. Adrienne's pathetic jealousy and her ludicrous treatment of Dr Paul just slammed her onto my "Ugh, get off my TV" list. When she tried (and failed) to throw Lisa under the Radar Online bus at the reunion, that was the nail in the coffin. She is unredeemable in my eyes. And serving Cease and Desist letters is all she can do. The Housewives all sign releases forbidding them from suing each other (at least, that's what the Vancouver Housewives all had to do)...if Adrienne is even contemplating a lawsuit, she should take a seat before she gets her tranny ass booted off the series. They do need another neutral(ish) party, which brings me to... If ever there was a Housewife who needed to return, my God is it ever Jeana Keough. She has relationships with Gretchen, Tamra and Vicki. She hasn't been a regular since season 5 and we're STILL talking about her and we STILL love seeing her in her occasional appearances. Although Vicki has stayed on the show for its entire run, when I think of RHOC, I think of Jeana, for me she was the OC Housewife archetype.

This OC reunion was excellent. Just so satisfying. Brianna and Tamra really had no problem explaining where all the bodies are buried and you could see Vicki grow so, so uncomfortable. The secret's out and she doesn't like it. I also get the impression that things are awful with Brooks...he wouldn't sit on the same couch as Brianna...says it all really. And please, let this be the end of Alexis.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Lisa in Paris?! I cannot wait.
-
Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
That was so brilliant. Heather tossed Alexis around like a rag doll, she is just too good.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Absolutely. She's an idiot for attaching herself to Slade and there's no attachment as permanent as a child. Slade's an amoral leech. Gretchen is a fool for allowing herself to support him at all. Vicki...oh man has she shat the bed courtesy of Brooks. She is so manipulated and unbelievably defensive to everyone. And we know why she's defensive. She knows she's wrong. Would you believe Brooks is only 45?! I love Heather and Dr Terry. I've met Terry a few times IRL at medical meetings in California. He is just a super guy and in for a good gossip when the time is right, he fit into RHoOC better than Heather did! And may I just say that I love the guitar music they play each and every finale party when the show explains where the ladies are at now. It would be like Christmas without presents if that music wasn't played on the OC finale.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
It was the finest hour of television I've seen in years. And lucky for me, I watched it with Mary and Ronnie. Seriously, I was at the viewing party.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Right. The very same son that Slade is in child support arrears to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars. Son of a bitch.

"Here's an Oreo" was amazing. All I can say about the Real Housewives of Vancouver is AT LAST, AT LAST, AT LAST! I am so proud of the women I know as friends.

For Nene's sake I hope she rides RHoA until it's formally cancelled. With a $1 million salary (plus payment for the reunion) for this season I really think Nene would be insane to give up that kind of money, there will come a time when Nene isn't popular, when she won't land guest shots on television and is past her prime, it happens to *everyone*...first order of business should be buying a house outright for cash, especially in this market where foreclosures abound and she could secure herself a deal.

I love Jeana, aside from BH's Lisa Vanderpump she is my favourite of the American Housewives and I think the OC has been all the poorer once Jeana left midway through Season 5, I think they know it too since they've brought her back for the finales of both seasons...Jeana's son Shane, a bit of a jerk...but also that's how a lot of 18 year old boys who play sports at that level are, one dimensional, thick and sometimes mean. That said, Shane was often good with his siblings. Jeana wasn't the only one affected, all of them were, even Vicki, despite her protestations of how much money she makes. The reason Jeana's so associated with the housing crash is 1) she's a real estate agent and 2) she's the only one whose flat out explained how badly its affected her.

NYC: Finally saw the premier... Luann: I always think she's good for bit of haughty drama. Ramona: she hasn't changed a bit and I'm fine with that, though she is annoying with how she doesn't ever shut up. Sonja: always love Sonja Heather: hate her. Loudmouth bore Carole: like her, but her plastic surgery and dermatological treatments are distracting Aviva: really like her, has a good attitude and probably fits in with the wives the best
