I'm not going to lie todays episode made me want to stop watching. The plot heavy writing some weeks just destroys the best characters on this show. Nothing will ever make me feel sorry for Vanessa and because of it Idk why im supposed to care about Joey playing Vanessa now. Leslie eventually became a cartoon. Hayley is all over the place with plots that haven't even made sense. Now Kat and Eva two of my favorite characters both look so dumb and pathetic continuing to fight over a cardboard cutout with no charisma and an ai voice. I would literally only want to keep watching for Dani and Bill the only couple on this show with actual chemistry anyway, but most stories are becoming as fast forward worthy as anything ashley and derek.

😆 I'm dramatic. But it's a great touch. And a great homage to Marlena first meeting The Pawn in the same place holding his hand.

idk about some of the surrounding issues but John Black dying while in bandages is actually genius. Going out the way he came.

I don't think it can be said that we're SUPPOSED to be rooting for Dani. Bill is definitely being painted as a villain, but Hayley is not. I think everyone in the "triangle" is pretty gray, but Bill and Hayley both painted more villainous than Hayley. There has been no heavy handed writing in Dani's favor and if anything she has been unnecessarily ruthless towards Hayley when Hayley has been painted as doing something good. Dani is polarizing for a reason and it is by design. Also if anything is wrong with the writing it is Guza's stench of one note plot heavy writing because only a few characters have had actual character development in three weeks.

This is how I feel about villains too. Tho I am also more lenient with a couple of the eventual cartoon villains, but villains like Iris, old John Dixon and especially Roger had so many layers, that they added to the show so much. Making it more interesting on a daily basis. Others became so one note over time that they certainly did not need to be on all of the time like some became. It is way too early to be acting like Leslie is overexposed. This is the first week she has actually gotten more scenes too. The first two weeks she did not have many scenes and most of the scenes she was in were super short. I think if they give us plenty of backstory that can add layers to her character and motives, she can stay good tv for awhile. 😂

Its not the same tho. At least not yet. Bill has been established as a serial cheater. We still know next to nothing about Ted or Ted and Leslie's history. Maybe let the story play out.

People cheating on a soap opera?!?! The horror! The horror! 🙄 I think Ted is going to eventually be one of the most interesting characters. Especially if he does have a twin that is alive. I feel the opposite of some. Today won me over with Dani officially with the posing for the mug shot. She can be exhausting but she is a fun character. Her being pathetic for Bill annoys me but it also makes her more human to me and less one note. I will say I started off really liking Naomi and Jacob but they are working less for me with Naomi. I wish one Dupree would think logically and I was hoping it would be her. Also we really need some Naomi and Hayley scenes before Hayley can be any kind of redeemed. I am accepting the pace and Ive never liked long drawn out paces on these shows but I do worry about Leslie being overexposed too fast. I don't want her written into a corner by May.

I haven't been this excited about a show for a long time. Especially since I can't stomach the other soaps anymore. My favorite things: That behind the scenes and the network actually care about a soap opera again. Most of the sets look great. We had a real song to start. It will be more character driven than plot driven at least for now (even tho i don't mind plot driven if its good.) The dynamics are already interesting with Anita/Nicole/Dani but also that Dani is a daddy's girl with Vernon. Also love the dynamics that Naomi will bring with her father cheating with her best friend and all. In fact, Naomi/Arielle Prepetit was surprisingly my favorite of the episode. Especially of the actors I don't know. I thought she was good being funny, sexy, serious and shady all in the first episode. Plus as much I watch soaps for drama and villains I also need a good couple with chemistry and Naomi and Jacob have that.

Hollywood is so down bad they're doing Pro Wrestling angles. Andy Kaufman is laughing in his grave. Gonna need today's talentless soap opera writers to watch some Mid South Wrestling from the 80s for ideas.

I think everyone needs to take a breather lol. Was checking out this vault lately cuz i'd like to put the march-june 93 eps I have in there rather than on youtube like I was if I ever get them on my computer. I think & hope soap opera uploaders get a little more thick skinned by one person doing something they perceive as hurtful or something, cuz theres clearly several uploaders and a lot of room for misunderstandings if theres bad /a lack of communication. And someone on the classic forum awhile back hid their youtube videos when 1 person upset them too. I think everyone appreciates the uploaders and It is beyond me to understand why 1 person or 1 thing sets off an extreme lol I will say though it would be nice if SON would let that uploader have an account here, but unfortunately SON is on Days shooting schedule where you have to make an account 6 months in advance of actually getting said account approved. 😕

That's really rough with BandStandMike I wonder if it really was his GL eps because it is true that P&G doesnt seem to do anything. I hope it's not them or the AW and ATWT channels are next. I wonder if it was his Ozzie & Harriet episodes or some of the music on his channel

It's crazy the lengths we have to go to sometimes just to supply soap opera videos lol. Especially when some idiots interfere. There is someone who had to create a private twitter for Days of our Lives episodes just to keep one person away from the videos lol

Hello there, I know from experience between copyrights and fans that go too far that uploading on youtube can get to be too much, but I think you should at least put them unlisted and make playlists for people to still be able to view like many others have done here in the past. Especially if it is just one person causing the problem.

so i havent watched any of the uploads going forward yet but i know the dates are wrong/a mess. some could be repeated as well. So the dates on the vid are just what i was given but theyre wrong and not as many because there is a whole different show in the middle of the video lol. This one is a long upload.

Well it would be nice if the country had more than 2 main parties because right now both are stuck in extremes. Cuz I would never be a Democrat (or Republican) either xD. The Bernie fans where i Live are pretty tame but there are less than in 16. But I don't have a vote atm in the primary because any candidates i felt even a little strongly for have all dropped out so i probably won't vote in the Colorado primary. Bernie is gonna win it tho anyway. I will probably vote any candidate over Trump though. Pete is the exception. He's my least fave candidate since Trump tbh. I'd have to sit that one out.

I think it was always going to come down this because the party has quite the divide. It is still the center versus the left in the party. So I think Bernie has the left, but the other half of the party wants anyone else. But to make matters worse the DNC does such a terrible job of drawing in Independents. As an Independent, the Iowa Caucus fiasco made the DNC look so bad. As if caucuses weren't bad enough they go and add to the fire of conspiracy theories. I think What is he/she actually going to do and what is he/she actually going to offer? can be asked about any of these candidates in one way or another. I'd never vote for Trump, but I cant say any of these candidates make me wanna get out there and vote in November. In a perfect world there would be a hybrid candidate with Yang's logical ideas and planning, Biden's experience & respect, and Warren's debating, but instead we're left with a fractured party while the Republicans are still somehow able to rally behind far right mayhem. but im a pessimist lol

I think Millennials will keep getting behind the candidate who says they want to offer them financial relief. Personally, of the very liberal candidates I much prefered Yang over Bernie or Warren even tho he never had a chance, but at least his ideas had actual logical detailed plans on his website. I think Boomers are so focused on stopping Bernie that any Tom, Dick or Pete will do for them, but probably won't beat Trump. And then unfortunately Gex X has indeed been erased from history 🤫

It's because Pete is a hollow candidate. I have never seen a candidate in my lifetime represent so little. He makes John Kerry look like a man of strong ideas and convictions. The Jean Passanante of candidates, really.

After the lady of the night or whatever Marlena wasn't even shown as possessed until a day or two before Christmas so Ken has no idea what he is talking about per usual. Says a lot about TIIC. I so need to help get this show cancelled.
