I think they had a chance with new possibilities with Sally / Courtney Hope and her new entourage. It was hokey but it had a chance. Instead they squandered a great young talent by putting her in the Liam/Hope/Steffy/Wyatt suck hole of death. I saw a tad at the end on Friday where it looked like they’ll likely have Eric be a failing business man or Alzheimer’s or something and B&B is the last show that should try something serious. My idea would be that Eric employs an outside designer on contract to help him with his designs - and as the months go by we all want to know how his designs are so good. Let it build. The industry including Spencer publications loves Eric’s new designs. At the showstopper - he announces the mystery designer has helped him - is Sally Spectra. The family is destraught and more sure than ever he is Suffering from dementia - to trust and employ Sally. Do flashback scenes or structure the story so that this happens first - although I’m inclined to have this done as a flashback. Charlie goes to Eric after finding a new AI freeware that scans folders and files from Forrester history and there’s a weird tag on a file from Bill Spencer. You don’t need to go into specifics - god knows more unrealistic things happen daily on this show. He reviews the file and sees - wow that’s lousy. In his silly Charlie way - am I seeing what I think I’m seeing? He goes to Eric. Can you believe that Bill Spencer lied and called that design competition equal all those years ago - where were we - Monaco? It looks like Bill lied about the phone and Internet voting. Sally won that competition and was an exciting new talent after all. It wasn’t a tie. Look at all the money she coulda made, ya know? And Eric feels badly. That’s why Eric chose her as his new secret designer - now all of you posers and losers can sit down - this old man still has a head on his shoulders. And Eric feels guilty because he feels like he wasn’t paying enough attention because at the time he was so worried about the family finding out about his relationship with Quinn. Quinn flashbacks. Bring her back as a foil again for Taylor, Brooke, and Sheila. That would be my start.

While I think he lost his fortune, he's probably OK. People toss names around as the most successful people to ever come from Daytime, and I think he has to be one of the most successful. Some had brief popularity, but almost none maintained it for a long career like Kevin did. Possibly - honestly the only person I can think of really - that has maintained constant work almost no matter what the platform - Jane Krakowski (sp). She may not be the most wealthy nor the most recognizable "big star" name, but as far as constant work, practically no one has worked as much as she has consistently all these years. Now someone will name Kelly Ripa - I mean actors and actresses. Not talk show hosts although that has its place.

I love Broken Peach. YouTube them. Sensational. They do awesome mash ups. Must see them live, what a freakin' party. And I could tell they have musical talent, and I don't like cover bands. Was waiting for Original stuff and they finally did it...why that song "Give it UP" isn't huge by now...(but I don't listen to totally main stream, so maybe it is). I wondered what people's feelings are - how do you set up a poll? Is that possible on here? Never done it. Vote for who Finn will sleep with first, while Steffy is gone (if she's leaving - I read she is leaving for maternity leave): A. Hope B. Taylor C. Brooke D. Katie - probably will need Emmy reel material, so a tryst with Finn will allow them to get it on, get it over with, and give Katie some well-deserved crying time E. Paris or Bridget (I think these are the two underdog / long shot choices, but tempted to put them on the list, just in case the writers wanted to toss someone else a bone).

I'm reading through the threads and everything sounds ridiculous. But - that's an honest SORAS really. She was born at the beginning of 2019. She'd be 4 and a half in real years. Given divorces, remarriages, annulments, and re-re marriages happen in 1 week on this show, that's about the most believable thing I've heard in the past few years.

I would never have thought this about Y&R - to me, for it to be the highest rated and arguably the most popular for years - I've always thought it to have absolutely the weakest cast out there. Definitely a show that I thought could never handle a bad writing stint. Yet here we are. Y&R kind of has a number of women that could fall into this category for me - not just one bad girl turned good. I think - Jill before Nikki (but Jill has never maintained air time, Nikki has). I'd throw in also - Sharon although never from the wrong side of the tracks, but Sharon is a more Brooke like (B&B) character, and then also I think of Lauren. Never would have thought, but Y&R has kind of maintained a stable of good actresses as the show approaches likely an end. I would never have thought it would be the show to maintain a stronger cast.....I also think Ashley and Phyllis. Any one of these women have at times carried a LOT of story and airtime. Nothing like Reva on GL or Vicky on OLTL, Erica on AMC, Marlena on DAYS. I do think maybe Nikki is the most likely of Y&R's women right now, but it coulda shoulda been Jill.

I've missed it but why are people assuming Taylor would have anything valuable to say? All she's gonna tell Steffy is the big secret....that, hun, maybe you should listen to Finn. His Mom....Sheila is actually a good person....she saved me too. That's what they're going to do hahahahahaha. Suddenly Sheila saved everyone at some point and isn't so bad after all. Well, I mean, she shoots people and stuff and all the other stuff, but in the words of Eric/Bad Santa - Sheeesh a Changed PERSHON. Nah, like people are saying (huh?) Finn's a REAL MAN! The real man is gonna be lookin' for a REAL WOMAN. HOPE! hahahahaha. I don't even remember - does Finn know Steffy's Mama bought a baby for Steffy? And Thomas kinda helped along as much as he could? All that needs to happen is for that to come out - Taylor buying a baby for her daughter, and....crazy brother helping out.....sounds as toxic as Finn and Sheila. Kinda weird for Steffy and Taylor to have any feelings of craziness toward Sheila when they're kinda just as toxic.

(checking my nails....la, lah , LAH LAH)...........waiting for Hope to console a broken Finn.....when Steffy realizes - like I said - you're always going to be dealing with Sheila, so it's over)...and in between Hope will commiserate with Finn because she knows what it's like to deal with a crazy person - Thomas, you know, Steffy's brother.......and hey, neither of us should, so let's just be together. And Finn will lovingly say to Hope....you.....you? You understand me in ways that Steffy never could. That's right Finn, unlatch from Mama's tit and come to Hope. LOLLLLLLLLLLL. Lah, Lah lah lah.....doing my nails......

We would be better at this - face it. hahahahahahaha! It makes me laugh because years ago - in the 80's - I would go back and forth with a couple of writers on World Turns because the soap mags were saying ATWT had become "Open Doors" or "Sliding Doors" or something for about 6 months to a year. People constantly stopping and listening at a cracked door or window, overhearing secrets (people talking too loudly), and then sitting on the secret, and it happening over and over and over. Of course they also got whacked because of the Anthony Hererra (sp?) returns. But lemme tell ya, it was NEVER as bad as these Sheila returns. And ATWT had the sense to END him with a flourish - one of the best endings to a villain ever. Lemme just write a quick scene - real quick-like: (Steffy has gone, out of the house, maybe not quite left town yet, but will be) Enter Sheila into cliff house set: (knock at door). Finn approaches, busies Kelly, Daddy is just answering the door, yadda yadda, be right back, etc. Finn Opens door. "What...no....what are you doing here? You can't be here right now, you need to keep distance right now. You being around just upsets Steffy and it's just not right - not right now." Sheila: "I just, I wanted to make sure Kelly was recovering OK. My....my nurse instincts, I mean, medical background - I can't help it, and....well, she's my granddaughter...I mean, she's not but I THINK OF HER that WAY, and it takes a FAMILY to raise all children and....well that's the way I think of Kelly..." Finn: "WAIT, no. We both thank you for saving Kelly, but you can't be here whenever you want Mom, and" Sheila: "OH....you called me Mom, I'm sorry to interrupt, it's just I have waited so LONG to hear those words and to be ACKNOWLEDGED and make me feel VALIDATED, Finn, I mean....and I didn't mean to say I'm a doctor like you are, you're so much smarter and accomplished, but the nurse in me wanted to just check on Kelly, and I'm glad to hear everything is going so GREAT with you and Steffy, and I wanted to tell Steffy PERSONALLY that I WILL NOT be interfering, I was just so LUCKY to be at the right place and the right time, I was meant to BE THERE Finn, to be there for YOU and my GRANDAUGHTER -- well like I said that's how I think of Kelly - so PLEASE let me just THANK Steffy for taking such good care of my Granddaugher, and.........." Finn (cuts her off) - "Go, you need to Leave, everything is fine, Steffy is not here, she's angry and left, but we'll work it out, and you need to GO. GOO!" Sheila, "What do you mean......she's gone? What do you mean? She just - left? She's not here, what fight do you mean, you fought? You had a fight? WHY would you have a FIGHT when this is such a HAPPY DAY? That would make no SENSE, and..." Finn: "She's angry, she's angry that you were on the beach, she said you were likely stalking us and who could blame her for thinking that, given your history, but you NEED TO GO." Sheila: (mousy look, broken winged bird as usual when this scene happens for the 10,000th time) - queue the crazy delusional music: "but....I .......I .......I don't understand honey? I......why would she be ANGRY with me when I was the one who SAVED Kelly, I mean it was total LUCK and everything me even BEING there, but it was me and she's......ANGRY?" Finn: "You need to go, Steffy will get over it, but you're giving her A LOT to get over right now, you need to GO!" (enter Steffy into the yard, at the front door, SheShe and FinnFinn just inside the door, watches on).... Shelia: "Well....I'm going - but THANK you for taking care of my granddaughter and watching over her, it was an innocent mistake on your part and I'm glad I was there to help in any way I can, and I'm not surprised. Maybe you'll see some day that no matter what I do, I'm never doing the right thing. Even saving your daughter isn't enough....you.....you see that right? They're going to blame ME for STALKING (how is that possible, I was on the beach just like anyone else, and) - instead of being grateful to me - they'll hate me and try to keep me away from family, it's....it's what they've ALWAYS done, and you SEE that now right?" Finn: "What I see is that I made a mistake in a moment when I wasn't thinking clearly. I was so glad that Kelly is alive that I said, you were kind of heroic in the moment, in THAT moment I felt like you were a hero, but I shouldn't have said that, I should NEVER have said that. Now GO." Sheila: "Oh, I'm.....I'm leaving now. But.....but you .....you called me what? What did you say? You said you......called me a HERO and.....and THAT'S what made Steffy angry?" Finn: "Yes, now GO!" Sheila: "Yes.....go, I'm going. I'll leave you to your family and.....but HERO? That just.....warms my......HEART to hear you call me a HERO, and.....you MEANT it? You really THINK I'm a HERO? OH, my SWEET SWEET BABY BOY, I love you so MUCH and you'll SEE. YOU'LL SEE! You're UNDERSTANDING me now and we have SO MUCH to look forward to, and --- and you're RIGHT, Steffy will come around, I'm sure she will, and......but if she doesn't just know I'm here for you. I'm here for my beautiful baby boy who has grown into such a wonderful person and a great doctor." Etc. etc. etc. Steffy is now convinced from hearing what she did that Finn is on the "forgiving" end of this little incident, and it just goes downhill from there. She confronts Finn after Sheila leaves, and the argument continues in the same direction. With idiotic Finn still kind of defending SheShe, and....continued angst.

I’m pretty much hanging around the boards to see how long it’s gonna take Finn - after Steffy takes the kid and runs out - how long it takes him to find some hope somewhere right around his sad, lonely cliff home. And that’s when he gets angry - angry enough with Liam for causing trouble — and since he and Steffy got an annulment - to get back at both Liam and Steffy - that SINN is now HINN because Finn did find some hope by being buried in Hope. He embraces the darkness of Sheila, because it also has to be about Sheila so I’ll throw that in as - a just in case. I’ve seen the term SINN — well it’s gonna be STEAM and HINN before you know it!

It's funny that people think Finn is above what they're going to do to him. They'll toss him to the Sheila wolves just like every other character. The show at this point HAS to be about Sheila. They're stuck. So you will be getting more of stupidity. Finn will be reduced to a screetching school girl. Because why? Sheila.

I wondered if Sheila had saved Steffy from death yet, or her mother again, or Finn....or someone, anyone. Then I read the recaps. Yep, there it is. Because.....ya gotta dumb down everything for Sheila. It's a shame Finn wasn't a more attentive parent. Because he's only a doctor, he doesn't understand needing to put the phone away and tend to your children. This is all very plausible. That....you'd take your kid to the beach and pay little attention to them, especially with your deranged mother on the loose who has a long history of stealing things or people, stalking, murder accusations....definitely shot some people....and, need I say more? I said months ago - it's only a matter of time until Finn can't "protect Steffi and the family" from his mother. Then, Steffy and Finn will be done, kaput, etc.....and hopefully Sheila will really kill him off this time. He's nice to look at, but a total throwaway character like Ivy, Flo, Shauna, et al.

They could have done it with Sally/Courtney Hope. They missed a boat with that one. The actress had a demeanor (there are just those kinds of people, and it's something you can't pick out, you can't cast it, difficult to find) - those people who can play a character and you feel sorry for them, no matter what they do almost. Sally/CH had that. I could totally see her doing AWFUL things, and if you just write a little bit around it, and give her the material - she'll shed a tear, explain herself, talk about always being left-out, as the Spectras always are....and you'd feel a little bad for her for awhile. Do awful, terrible things, sleep with half the city......and then just take some money and do something "nice" with it, and you'd forgive her. To an extent. She's a rare actress that had and has chemistry with everyone. EVERYone. Sheila is a dead end road and has been for about 20 years. They'll never get rid of her, and it's caused writing to be lazy, contrived, and at a level that - nothing matters and people don't care anymore. When I tried to watch, I'd see her face, and it's an immediate TV-turn-off moment. It just doesn't matter, not worth spending time on.

Pics 3 and 5 above look like “woah Finn, can ya use some more lube!?”. Anyway I don’t know how anyone can with this show at this point. Just from reading, did Hope jump out of the Thomas bed, run to Carter, get the papers done in 5 minutes, then go home, present Liam with the papers, bang divorce? This is why no one cares who ends up with who. What about custody, prenups, control of finances or companies? Where is some character development with some kids (yes you can)? Then maybe we’d care what happens to people and their families. They really had a court appearance in an office and with Sheila — there’s nothin to see here folks? She’s free? I could see from reading - in 1 month or 2 months or shorter - it’ll be Steffy whining that Finn couldn’t protect her. She just cannot with Sheila as his mother. Duh. Good Lord doe’s someone, anyone need to write this show? Apparently. At least ya coulda had judge go to his quarters and Sheila appear and say - thank you so much David, for being supportive of me all these years. He says he’s just a judge doing his job, please get out. Your sitch with the legal system has a quite lucky, don’t give me a reason to review this again. You need to concentrate on being a good citizen and clean your life up, bye Sheila. She leaves. He turns around and rubs his temples and forehead. Makeup comes off on his hand. Revealing “Killer” on his forehead. I don’t care if it’s a rewrite. Give people something

I caught a minute the other day with Hope riding Thomas - only missing the Bow Chicka Mow Mow music. She really is a whore lollllll. But I don’t care for Steffy either, she’ll be back in Liam’s bed soon enough. But passed by today and heard Hope say something like she is with a man who wants only her. Lollzzz. Good. He will love ya so much he’ll make your bones into wind chimes. Hopefully.

One favorite year - me and my sisters were watching - the Annie unraveling year. I remember her showing up and "Hey MARAH! HEY SHAYNE!" And my sister saying - oh lord, here she comes. hahahahahahaha!

Me too. The 4th of July Bauer barbeque every year - the Summers I miss the most, along with the Holidays. On Guiding Light I always looked forward to seeing when "Nick" appeared around Christmas, and for just a couple of days there was Peace in Springfield, or something happy happened. I loved that. And Summers - the Snyder Pond baby.

Eubanks is kind of the story of the tournament - along with Svitolina - similar whether or not she pulls it off. Ugh with Medvedev - he's so lifeless. Constant Constipation is playing (that's what I say). Or dude with perma-lipcurl.

Gotta look up the time of tomorrow's matches, wanna see when the Keys smackdown and kickball around the court and aimless shrugging/looks of "I don't care" begins.

Yippee there's the match Keys was waiting for - you know, to go ahead and have the best match of her tournament. Now, she can lose next round because - Madison. Always a yawner. You know why I'm so awful? I've gotten to the point where I root against her because it's just been too long - should have had a couple few slams in her pocket after all these years....and instead....people like Kenin, Raducanu, Ostapenko kinda get their one-off Slams and years go by and Keys cannot for the life of her - with that talent - pull it together for just 1 slam. I don't know why it bothers me.
