This is exactly what Putin wanted. The United States having damaged credibility and failures on display gives Russia an opportunity to step up to the front of the world stage. Trump most certainly wanted to run against Sanders. With Sanders having made so many positive comments about Cuba and the Soviet Union in the past there was plenty for Trump to exploit about socialism. Trump needed this election to not be an indictment on him, but based on fear and buzzwords. With the pandemic and jobs evaporating this race is a bigger indictment on a President since Carter in 1980.

An ad has to be completely false for television stations to take it down and nothing in that ad is false. Ads rarely get pulled.
