GL and ATWT won't due for that madness. You need 1995 OLTL theme for extra dramatic effect.

Sanders' disturbing essay about rape is indicative of what type of mindset he has toward women and why certain types gravitate toward him. A whole lot of his support came from lonely outsider types of men who had supported Ron Paul (who is far different than Sanders). Some of them has even gone after Kamala Harris by saying that she slept her way to the top. An incredibly negative bunch of people, so it is indeed not surprising to read that there was harassment on the campaign.

The good thing about this is that the bipartisan board of elections was unanimous in refusing to certify the election and wants the investigation.

Speaking of fraud there is an issue in North Carolina that could be a huge case of voter fraud perpetrated by behalf of a Republican. This is felony level fraud. https://twitter.com/jimmorrill/status/1068226208738017290

Thank you. It's really stressful on the community, but people are stepping up to support the victims. There was a procession for the sheriff's deputy that was killed and a lot of people were on the corner as it drove by on it's way to the freeway.

That shooting happened in my city. It's absolutely crushing since this is a fairly close community and nothing like this has happened here before.

Democrats taking the House means that ACA repeal is off the table and that is extremely good. Moving forward into 2020 the good news is that Democrats performed well in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin which are states they need to win to take the electoral college.

Any changes to the constitution would have to go through the states and as right-leaning as the court is it is hard to see Roberts approving of a change to the constitution by executive order and he is probably the most likely contender for swing vote moving forward (at least for some things). As for the scheme to set up Mueller, that has a potential to backfire in the election. After how much Republicans attacked the women who accused Kavanaugh it's going to be quite telling that they were the ones trying to set someone up and pay people to do it no less.

Just returned home not too long ago from a candle light vigil at the temple nearby where I live. There probably over a hundred people there and that was a good turnout. The Rabbi was clear to point out how hate is a real problem and didn't talk around it.

As with anything on television, ratings is a motivation. Trump was good for ratings during the campaign and got more viewers to turn into newscasts that are normally not watched.

The person behind Black Americans for the President's Agenda is the insane Vernon Robinson who is actually crazy. He has called himself the Black Jesse Helms and he has failed multiple times at being elected to Congress with unhinged campaigning.

The Midwest is always the swing region in midterms. It came through huge for Democrats in 2006 and will probably come through even bigger this year. One of the critical things about this midterm is that Democrats can secure partial (hopefully full) control of redistricting in key states like Michigan and Wisconsin, perhaps even Ohio.

Only because voters had a direct say in that. If Kavanaugh was running for an elected in a state that had similar political split as the nation as a whole (Nevada is closest to the median) he would have lost. Ivanka pushed a lot of Democratic sounding initiatives (like paid family leave) that gave Trump a lot of political cover. Her RNC speech was not even remotely Republican. She will never have a political career though with her unethical business practices and unwavering support of her father. Plus, she is too liberal for Republicans to nominate and Democrats wouldn't even nominate her as drain commissioner, so she's a non-factor.
