Steyer released at least one negative ad against Sanders, so I don't think he's trying to help him.

ALL: Soap Stars - Where are they now?
He's stuck in the same mode that he was in for writing his plays and he very much prides himself on lifting himself out of poverty with his work (he was living in his car at one point years ago), so I'm guessing that gives him an elevated view of his writing. Wigs are a big part of theatre, but on stage props like wigs are a lot more common as they are used there to hide microphones and to better help transform actors in their characters. Television and film is a lot different, but he doesn't seem to get that. Or maybe he really is trolling, which would be absolutely hilarious.

Matt Cedeno (former Brandon, DAYS) will be playing a cult leader in Tyler Perry's Ruthless. And he'll be wearing one of the wigs that some many people make fun of Tyler Perry for using in his productions.

Russia was boosting Sanders in 2016 and now they are doing it again. One of Sanders' main surrogates, Nina Turner campaigned for Jill Stein in 2016 after Sanders didn't get the nomination. Jill Stein has ties to Russia and has been on RT more than once, so who is to say that Nina Turner isn't getting a check from Russia under the table? She originally supported Hillary Clinton but flipped to Sanders after Clinton wouldn't hire her, so clearly she is play for pay. Then there is his press secretary, Briahna Joy Gray who admitted that she voted for Jill Stein. Honestly it's not unbelievable to believe that more than a few people on the Sanders campaign are in league with Russia.

Warren could have a surprisingly good showing in Nevada thanks to her debate performance and her calling out Bloomberg might have helped Biden a lot on Super Tuesday. I'm not sure how it will actually go over with voters, but Sanders' comment about having a summer camp made him seem a lot more out of touch than he portrays himself. He's not a billionaire, but he is still much more financially secure than most working and middle class Americans.

Nancy hands his crap right back too him and without hesitation. He set the rules of engagement for his President and all she is doing is play by them.

Illinois uses a primary instead of a caucus, so the chaos would be out of the equation. If you mean chaos by candidates and campaigns flooding the state then that definitely would be an adjustment.
-
The Politics Thread
Probably so. After this the DNC is likely to shift things around and give a more diverse state first voting status. Illinois would be the perfect state to allow to go first, since it basically mirrors the demographics of the country and has plenty of rural areas so no one can say that rural voters wouldn't have say, plus it is Midwestern.

One national primary where everyone votes on the same day would solve lots of problems, but there are some states would be be high resistant because they covet their first in the nation status.

The best thing for a campaign to do would be to write Iowa off as a loss due to error and focus on the next states coming up. Delegate wise it wouldn't really hurt to do that and it would avoid drama. New Hampshire is a primary so there will be no craziness because the votes are tabulated and reported out by the state.

So many of Sanders' supporters are not and have never been Democrats. They are fringe people with ideologies that are nonsensical and who vote for anyone who promises massive changes or revolution. Plenty of Ron Paul supporters are now supporting Sanders.

If Sanders gets the nomination, I cannot vote for him in the general. I'm in California, so my vote won't really make a difference on account of the electoral college. Russia already targets black social media users to try and keep black voters home and Sanders accepting this endorsement gives them more fuel for their trolling, so he'd have a major problem in swing states where the black vote is critical. That's why he would be a terrible nominee.

The Electoral College won't be abolished unless a Republican wins the popular vote but fails to secure the electoral vote. If that somehow occurred these Republican legislatures in red states would be tripping all over themselves to get rid of it.

When you have Bernie Sanders practically hitting another candidate, I think it's perfectly relevant for his likeability among colleagues and others to be highlighted. In a general election these things would be a problem and make voters feel as if their choices are between two angry, elderly men with delusions of grandeur. Clinton merely voiced an opinion and Sanders supporters are angry because it was a valid one.

He did send out a tweet days before the election saying that not everyone thinking about voting for Trump was racist and that seemed like a signal to his supporters. He never said anything to dismiss the talk by his supporters about the primary being rigged and that spoke volumes.

It's taken three years, but it has finally happen. This is the sort of situation that many feared on Election Night 2016, that Trump would trigger some sort of military conflict.

Bill Cosby
Bill Cosby is someone that I wish I could yell obscenities at, because he has no remorse and no self-awareness. Even before the revelations I never much cared for him because he was too pretentious. Eric Monte (Good Times) claims that the idea for the Cosby Show was stolen from him after he pitched it to a producer who would go on to produce the Cosby Show. I don't know how true that is but it wouldn't surprise me if it was true, because it was odd how Cosby finally managed to find a hit after other failed television comedy show and pitched idea can easily be stolen. Taking another black man's idea, making money with white producers off it and not compensated him for it seems more slave like than a silly joke.

Jimmy Kimmel Presents Norman Lear's "The Jeffersons" and "All in the Family" Live on ABC
Bernadette and Ja'net looks amazing in that picture. Tiffany probably was not the right person to play Willona as I think someone who is not a comic would have worked better. I think Jennifer Hudson could have pulled it off, because when she sang Movin' On Up she was giving those 70s vibes that would have fit with Willona.

Scotland is by far the most liberal of the UK countries so it will be interesting exactly how a clearly right-wing Prime Minister like Johnson will appeal to them.

Even without a conviction possible it really was impossible for House Democrats to not move forward with impeachment because Trump clearly violated the law and it would have been a dereliction of duty to overlook that. Politically they would have received backlash for not holding Trump accountable and the last thing needed is to give voters a reason to stay home.
