If Scott Clifton had come of age in the ‘90s, he’d probably have a decent career as a sitcom actor and maybe even gone the goofy Ryan Reynolds route to films. But being a soap leading man ain’t his thing. He’s not untalented. But Liam is a joke. Ronn Moss was... limited, but he was completely in his element in romantic scenes with women. Probably one of the best at it, actually.

I’m just wondering when Mariah will become the matron of a boarding house. It’s a total waste of CG. It’s funny how Mariah went from being featured ad nauseum under Mal, almost as if she were the heart of the show, to a mere talk-to. Wasn’t she supposed to be a marketing exec working for Kyle?

Again, That Black Storyline (©️MAB) is saving this show. I’m curious if Elena’s (and potentially Nate’s) days are numbered with Imani potentially on the scene as an Amanda rival. It’s sad that we have to think that way, but again we’ve been trained by years of daytime “quotas.” I like that we have two fiery actresses playing sisters à la Kim Zimmer/Laura Wright. BUT Leigh-Ann Rose isn’t on contract to my knowledge, and we know Josh Griffith often puts the brakes on promising stories right when they start to take off. We’ll have to see if this is a slow-paced introduction (which would be fantastic) or a road to nowhere.

I’ve been watching older episodes, and it would have been fascinating to see DL’s gruffer Edward in the Ward story.

This is for characters played by multiple actors over the years. What are stories that would have seemed insane or unbelievable played by another actor/actress in the role (but worked with the actor at the time)? For some reason, I just can’t see Susan Flannery’s middle-aged Laura screwing Mark Valley’s Jack in a psych facility on DAYS. Might be just me LOL.

Paris is the only one in that quad with any life to her. The actress, Diamond White, has star quality. And you’re right that her radiance gives her scene partners a bit of a glow too. She has a playfulness that you can see why Zende, who is otherwise pretty stiff, would be into her. I like LSV, but Carter is almost creepily bland. There’s not much for an actor to dig into with that role, aside from just leaning into the serial killer vibe, as the show isn’t really digging into his motivations for moving so quickly with Zoe.

Carter is a nothing character.

I like Juliette Jeffers (Nurse Caulfield). I wish she had an actual role. She’s been around forever.
