I can’t with Jim Jordan’s nonsense.

Emily O’Brien is beautiful. She should really be a Bond girl (or a Bond villain. Or Bond herself). Lani’s head wrap is awesome. But they whiffed on an opportunity to have Eli shirtless. Cady really works for me as Jennifer. She’s radiant and doing her best acting since her ATWT. The only quibble is that Marci and Missy Reeves looked so much like mother/daughter.

All this T.J. stuff doesn’t land because this show has invested next to nothing in this character, especially with this actor.

I loved Brenda in the ‘90s and her first return, but I felt the magic was *gone* those last two returns. The writing just wasn’t there, and VM’s acting was... inconsistent at best. And I didn’t mean that LW diminished her. The writers seemed to stack the deck in Carly’s favor, which is understandable because she’s the show’s main leading lady. It’s hard when a huge star returns for short stints sometimes.

Her last returns were hot garbage, and it felt like they did all they could to diminish her compared to LW’s Queen Carly.

All of this. This is the way JG has written the entire show, and it’s been this way for so long that his superiors have to shoulder some blame as well.
