  1. For me, it’s Lauralee Bell, who was appallingly incompetent in her early years as Cricket on Y&R but evolved into a solid, grounded performer who could not only withstand the scenery-devouring (yet undeniably talented) tornado that is Michelle Stafford, but go toe to toe with her. Who would you pick?
  2. Victoria Rowell returns to CBS in primetime in a recurring role on the medical drama Good Sam.
  3. That cheap, cheesy music that played during Adam/Sally’s sex scene today…
  4. Jermaine from the Canary Islands 🇮🇨
  5. This show is very frustrating because it could be so much better. The ingredients are right there and so obvious.
  6. I saw that score. Shades of the Roland Garros final but more of a demolition. When Ostapenko is on, look out.
  7. The music on this show SUCKS.
  8. This Russian guy 🇷🇺
  9. Jermaine from London 🇬🇧
  10. You know, that thought did go my head today. But given the state of the show, I figured it was probably something stupid.
  11. It makes no sense for Quinn to be AWOL right now when she’s intimately tied to both the A (Sheila/Deacon/Brooke/Ridge) and B (Paris/Carter) stories. Bradley is such a clunky, simplistic, unsubtle storyteller.
  12. Must be easy for JMW to remember her lines when she has the same ones over and over again. Curious what will lead her off screen for maternity leave.
  13. She’d have been great. Already has a proven rapport with her would-be onscreen mother-in-law (JE, her stepmom on The City).
  14. Is Amy van Horne completely retired from screen acting? She might be another candidate.
  15. As has been said before, an Alan/Hope/Buzz triangle, with RM and Justin Deas reuniting from their Santa Barbara days, seems like an obvious idea, as GL had positioned Buzz and Alan as adversaries. I wonder if GL ever reached out to Robin to reprise her role.
  16. George from London 🇬🇧 🔥
  17. One of the few actresses I believe could do it. VR is pretty irreplaceable, though. Same as Constance Towers with Bev’s Alex on GL. They’d be admirable, watchable substitutes but could only ever be that.
  18. It was terrifying. That was around the time I had started really watching GH (with my beloved GL losing its way), and I couldn’t imagine a soap subjecting its elderly patriarch/matriarch to such brutality. It was kind of traumatizing seeing it as a kid. It was like seeing your grandparents beaten. I do believe this was John Beradino’s last big story before his passing a few years later. At least I don’t remember another one after this.
  19. Renee Jones as Olivia on Y&R- of all the potential candidates for a recast (like maybe Amelia Marshall), RJ comes closest to nailing the “easy sweetness with a hysterical edge” contrast that TLW does. Lane Davies as Jack Abbott on Y&R - a role swap between him and Terry Lester, he’d have been closer to Lester’s wounded Lothario than Bergman’s more effete matinee idol.
  20. Ryan savagely beating Steve and Audrey on GH.
  21. Chibuike from Nigeria 🇳🇬
  22. LOL at pipsqueak Michael trying to be so big and bad:
