  1. I've been re-watching 1980s episodes and can't help but feel disappointed that Mark Dalton's character didn't stick around after 1989. It would have been beneficial for Erica to have another non-child relative. Mark LaMura's performance was truly impressive.
  2. Cynthia Watros. I'm really surprised she hasn't found another primetime role. The DUI issues she had during her Lost year seemed to have tarnished her once rising star.
  3. Thanks for the reminder. I wonder if the show pulled MEK's audio from an old episode or if that was a fresh voiceover.
  4. This article mentioned that Michael E. Knight appeared in the Prospect Park reboot, but I don't think that's correct. I know the show referenced Tad a lot and was building towards him coming back to the show had it returned for a second season. But I don't believe MEK ever made it on screen. Am I wrong?
  5. What reason did she give?
  6. All My Children had a sets problem (and a budget problem) when they had that stupid dance marathon and had to use the Fusion office and Fusion bar for multiple episodes.
  7. All My Children's Tad returning to Pine Valley in 1992.
  8. Yes! I came to ask the same question. Fell off the face of the earth. Thought she grew leaps and bounds as an actress during her time on the show.
  9. Last night, Susan Lucci was the Celebrity Guest on Kelly Ripa's game show, Generation Gap.
  10. It was great to see Jill Larson on Live with Andy and Mark. Despite that fact that Mark forgot the name of Eva's character in the previous episode, Mark (as well as Kelly) do have a strong affection for All My Children to this day.
  11. Eden Riegel mention on today's Live with Kelly and Mark. Mark ran into her doing voiceover work for a Disney project.
  12. Oh gosh, that was my least favorite opening. That was during the Brian Frons era and he had all the ABC soaps shoot their openings using one agency and it was a generic mess. The whole ABC lineup lost its uniqueness when they converted to these openings with the same lighting and backdrops. All My Children had the best of the worst openings because they incorporated the photo album but OLTL and GH was ringarde!
  13. So funny! Kelly, Mark, and Andy Cohen play All My Children trivia Jeopardy style, hosted by Ken Jennings.

  15. Thanks! Yes, I saw this!
  16. Happy 53rd birthday, All My Children! The show premiered on January 5, 1970.
  17. Happy Birthday to Garden City's very own Susan Lucci!
  18. I think Ross was mentioned here and there in passing. I wish they had brought Ross back to the canvas. He had ties to several families. I thought it would have been interesting, and maybe controversial, to pair him with Erica.
  19. My hope is that Bob Iger will hire back executives who initially greenlit the script for Pine Valley, among other things and this show will be made. I know it's a long shot.
  20. Yes, soaps were a big part of daytime way back when so it was always nice to see soap actors appear on talk shows. These days, outside of The Talk cross promoting their soap lineup and Kelly having one of her friends like Finola on, it's rare to see soap stars as talk show guests.
  21. I didn't like how Myrtle's funeral became all about Zach.
  22. @DRW50 Thanks for sharing! I remember watching this episode!
  23. Every time I hear this song, "Escape" by Enrique Iglesias, I think of Leo and Greenlee. I just had to find this promo!
  24. I disagree with you on the name. Peacock is a lot more interesting, and conveys that it is part of the NBC family. Anything + sounds unoriginal. It reminds me of all the talk shows that start with the word THE. The View, The Talk, The Chew, The Revolution, The Real. It drives me insane.
