  1. I just can't. What were the powers that be thinking with Fusion? "We need to be more like Sex and the City! We need to be more like Lipstick Jungle!" Why couldn't they just relax and let the show be itself?
  2. I completely agree with everything said. In her memoir, Megan McTavish presents herself as the smartest person in the room, and also comes across as overly bitter. Her tone suggests a "it wasn't me, it was them" attitude, deflecting responsibility for any shortcomings. Furthermore, she uses her writing as a tool for vindictiveness, particularly targeting James Kiberd and Cady McClain—regardless of what they may or may not have done. This approach undermines McTavish's credibility and makes the memoir feel more like a personal vendetta than an honest reflection.
  3. I have never seen this. Oh my stars.
  4. Well they did show us that Ashely could deliver a baby in an elevator in week 2 of the job.
  5. I enjoyed the crossover as well. However, I felt that reuniting Bianca and Miranda happened too soon. I think Miranda should have remained on OLTL for a few more years. While that would have made Bianca unhappy in the short term, it could have created more storytelling opportunities down the line—similar to how Erica and Adam’s first divorce was later revealed to be invalid and revisited years later.
  6. She's definitely coming off as a psycho. She remind me of Janet from Another Planet, although Janet had more layers to her. Hopefully, we see more layers to Leslie because the character has potential. I don't want her to be written into a corner.
  7. Yeah I thought that was strange. But maybe the actress had the day off.
  8. Yes sir. 😊 I'm dying to read this now. I may to make my way to Evanston.
  9. Daphnee Duplaix has a strong on-screen presence, and I can easily imagine her expanding into other mediums like primetime television or film.
  10. I was not a fan of how this episode was directed and edited to make it seem like Nicole's event had more attendees than it did. The fake crowd noise and applause made me roll my eyes.
  11. I can't 😂 The scenes felt like a mix between a Sesame Street segment teaching a lesson and an episode of Full House.
  12. Sorry, can you repeat that? 😜
  13. Wait—Phantom Erica was Agnes’s storyline. I remember Susan Lucci mentioning in interviews that Agnes introduced the story to her, and Susan was taken aback because it closely resembled her own car accident and trip to the emergency room. As for Palmer’s stolen Nazi art storyline, I can’t remember who wrote it, but it was quickly abandoned. I only recall one scene where he was gazing at a painting with lust in his eyes—and then it was never mentioned again. Well the storyline was intended to bring David and Erica closer together. David is one of her best pairings ever, in my opinion, and I wish Lorraine Broderick had the opportunity to revisit their relationship in 2011.
  14. Martin and Smitty's kids are too old to be Martin and Smitty's kids! Yes, I know they're adopted. But I'm thrown off by this age difference.
  15. Love this interview with La Lucci. But geez Rosanna is a sneaky sneak for sneaking in that love question at the end. You can tell La Lucci wasn't ready for the question.
  16. I thought Dr. Kinder was a psychiatrist of some sort. He was the one who was prescribing painkillers to Erica which she eventually became addicted to.
  17. I know I'm in the minority but I love Phantom Erica! I loved that storyline so much.
  18. This would make Ashley and Derek very interesting. Explain?
  19. MVJ made Ted a plastic surgeon for a reason, so his profession will likely become relevant at some point. Would he be the first regular character on a soap opera to be a plastic surgeon? I recall that on All My Children, Maria Santos was a neurosurgeon, and David Hayward was a cardiologist.
  20. Got it. Thanks for finding and sharing this clip.
  21. I'm confused. So Ted knows Leslie? Didn't they pass each other in the hospital hallway like two weeks ago and he didn't acknowledge her? I'll have to go back and rewatch.
