R.I.P.: AMC, ATWT and ABC Daytime EP Felicia Minei Behr Passes Away
Not to nitpick in this unfortunate thread, but according to the Locher Room interview, it was actually Pat Fili-Krushel who asked Wendy to write the proposal. Yeah, I believe Felicia Minei Behr was reporting to Angela Shapiro at the time—FMB was a VP, and Angela was the President. Then, when Brian Frons took over as President, Disney and/or Brian likely saw FMB’s role as redundant and decided to eliminate her position. It’s really unfortunate because FMB was a strong advocate for great storytelling and wouldn’t have harmed the daytime lineup the way Brian Frons did.

R.I.P.: AMC, ATWT and ABC Daytime EP Felicia Minei Behr Passes Away
I was just thinking about Felicia Minei Behr over the weekend—she was, without a doubt, the best executive producer All My Children ever had. I remember Kelly Ripa mentioning years ago that some of the cast and crew attended FMB’s daughter’s wedding. She also shared a funny story about Susan Lucci ending up at Applebee’s between the wedding and reception—LOL! It really seemed like the cast and crew were a close-knit group during FMB’s time as EP.

Possibly, but Dani seems more unhinged than Erica ever was. To me, they're not the same. As someone mentioned earlier, Dani holding a gun on her ex feels more like something Annie Lavery—or even Greenlee—would do. Greenlee’s rage when she tore the dress off Kendall on the witness stand, exposing her fake pregnancy belly, is the kind of intensity I see in Dani.

I'm a bit confused about Dana aka Leslie's connection with Ted and why Ted doesn't recognize her. But I'm sure that will be explained later. So Maurice Johnson is going to play the twin brother at some point? I can't wait to see that play out and how different or the same the characters are.

I'm not noticing anything major from a production standpoint. Maybe it's because Steve Williford directed two of the three episodes, and I'm already familiar with his work on All My Children. The one thing that stands out to me is how FaceTime scenes are edited—using a side-by-side layout within an iPhone template. It’s not the way I would approach it, but that’s just a matter of personal preference.

The theme music isn’t very memorable—I’m hoping there’s another version or a bridge section that stands out more. For me, Faces of the Heart remains one of the best soap themes. I also liked All My Children's original theme, as well as the "falling pictures" theme by Billy Barber during the years Felicia Minei Behr executive produced (not the guitar riff version during the Julie Carruthers years).

Strong start! So far, Daphnée Duplaix is my favorite. Her acting feels effortless, and her character, while seemingly perfect, is bound to experience the most turmoil ahead—which makes me even more invested! Karla Mosley’s performance is just ok. I’d love to see more depth to Dani beyond just anger, even though it’s understandable. Exploring other layers, which I know is coming, would make her character more compelling. As for Ben Gavin and Jen Jacob, I didn’t mind them or their characters. They came across as cute and wholesome—but we all know that won’t last, right? LOL.

OMG, so if Dick Van Dyke had been under contract and this category existed last year, he would have qualified as "emerging talent?" LOL, that would have been wild!

Oh my, I absolutely loved this storyline! It had some gothic tones, which I always enjoyed whenever All My Children incorporated them. I also appreciated that Erica's scars were never shown beneath the mask—whenever David dressed her wounds, the audience never got to see them. That added a great sense of mystery to the story.

I had no idea Jon and Cady had separated. When I first started reading this article, I thought, "Oh, how nice—they're married and now working on the same show again."

That’s an interesting question. I think David was one of Erica’s best pairings, and the chemistry between Vincent Irizarry and Susan Lucci was undeniable. I would have definitely revisited that dynamic, especially since Lorraine Broderick seemed to explore it toward the end. I also would have brought back Mark Dalton, Ellen, and Julie to give Erica more family beyond her children. Another idea: While Erica was a "Kane," I always wished we had learned more about Mona’s side of the family. Introducing a relative from Mona’s lineage could have added an intriguing new dimension to Erica’s story. As for Caleb, I thought he was a complete misfire. If the show wanted to bring a Cortlandt back onto the canvas, it should have been Ross. Pairing him with Erica would have been compelling—controversial, but intriguing. I know Ross was a convicted rapist, but that could have created a complex, layered dynamic, especially since Erica was a rape survivor herself. It might be a bit dark, but watching Erica confront that, along with her own past, could have made for powerful storytelling. Adding Ellen and Mark—both of whom had history with Ross—into the mix would have made the storyline even messier and more dramatic. Erica was often at her best when she had a strong female rival, so I would have put her and Brooke’s rivalry front and center again.

All My Children Tribute Thread
Can someone help me remember? I was watching a scene where Jeremy and Silver returned from skiing and stopped by Ruth and Joe's house. How did Silver become close to Ruth and Joe? Was it simply because they were the elder statesmen of Pine Valley, or was there another connection? It seemed random to me.
