  1. I can't remember, but it had something to do with Dolores' ex Frank, and perhaps a WWHL appearance? The squashes were hilarious. When Ramona and Vicki were called up to squash a beef, they both had no clue they were "feuding." "I love her!" they both said of each other. LOL at Ramona's usual half-assed apologies.
  2. I was just about to chime in, these weekly numbers show me that All My Children was not always a solid No. 3 during this time period as I had long thought.
  3. Ooh look at Y&R at 9's, ATWT & DAYS in the 8's, and AW in the 6's... Meanwhile, Capitol down in the 4's definitely earns a cancellation for a CBS soap...
  4. Wow, I'd be shi✝✝ing myself if I had attended BravoCon. That's my kind of camp. It's clear the audience loves Beverly Hills, love 'em or hate 'em. Ramona in the hot seat 3 teams to squash beefs was hilarious. Vicki as the beloved OG will be back as a full time 'wife for sure next season. I, too, was disappointed that Potomac was treated as an afterthought (alongside Dallas). Andy looked to be orgasming in his pants when Fredrick or whatever his name is (the million dollar former porn star guy) slipped him the tongue. Cue Gizelle's horrified reaction. And of course, loved the love for Queen LVP! BravoCon is good display of what's a REAL feud versus TV fodder. With no Nene, LVP cutting out before the BH cast arrived, and Caroline cutting out before NJ cast arrived, one wonders what they're cooking up for their next/current seasons...? LOL to Kenya and Zolciak having no interest in trying to squash their beef. I bet if Bethenny had attended, the audience would've lost their shi✝ upon her arrival, too. While I'm skeptical on which OC housewives are currently cool with one another, but on the other hand you have NYC always having a fun time together. ATL: Yeah, Mark Daly is a turd. Also, an interesting dynamic that you have them using footage of the Bravo float at World Pride for Atlanta, with so many other city wives in attendance next to them (Margaret, Melissa, Sonja, Tinsley, Kelly Dodd, etc.)
  5. It was sad seeing Porsha break down with her sister, and talk about how she looks to her sister as an example of someone who left their significant other and came through. That was the most real conversation I've seen on Atlanta in a long time.
  6. +1 @VanessaReardon Trust & believe, you've got peeps reading what you're posting, and appreciate you for doing so
  7. @DaytimeFan @Cat and as you know @Antoyne LuAnn sure puts on a fun show! I was in hysterics all night. So much giggling; genuine fun or just sheer absurdity. Firstly, the venue seated 1,700 and I'd say it was close to 2/3rds full. It was mostly women in their 30's and 40's with a few gay men. One of Luann's "friends" in her act is a drag king comedienne who was getting a feel of the audience and asked, "who here is a Republican?" and thankfully only a small handful cheered [Wisconsin may have flipped back to red, but the Madison area is a very blue county]. LuAnn was about a half-hour late. "Who is she?" "Evidently Madonna." LOL I kid, only because we saw Madonna two weeks ago and she was nearly an hour late. Luann came out singing "With A Little Help From My Friends." She sang a bunch of songs as well as her 4 greatest hits.... okay, her ONLY 4 songs She did a Q&A with the audience and of course my gay ass shot up first and got the attention of the man with the mic and I asked if there's any chance Jill Zarin will ever return as a full-time Housewife, not just a friend. She said Jill has done some filming again this season so we'll see her (no full-time though). She had four different dresses throughout the evening. Her second one was by Jovani and she asked, "Do you like this dress?" in the exact same coy way as we saw on the show when Dorinda heckled her. The whole environment was very lax, casual, and fun. When she did her last song (Money Can't Buy You Class), we went up to the stage to jam out to it and shake her hand. As the audience was clearing out, a guy working the event spotted my hubby with his fabulous outfit and overall effervescent personality and said we could stay behind for a meet & greet (I don't know if the others who stayed behind had to pay beforehand for this, but we didn't!) And so we got a photo op with the Countess herself. She's a tall lady! She's a ham. I love that she's a ham and knows it. I asked her why she never liked Alex & Simon, and she said, "Did you??" and said they always came off as trying too hard. True dat! And she also told me her and Ramona just got into something again while filming right now. She had just flown in from the Berkshires filming at Dorinda's. We got photos individually and then a group shot. Now y'all can see what I look like! Don't recoil in horror too hard (That's me, hubby, and our girlfriend)
  8. Spoiler alert 😂 I’m currently waiting for Countess LuAnn to make her appearance on stage...
  9. @Khan Just out of curiosity, how do you find black women to be responding to Kamala Harris? If there's one thing we've seen in the last few years, it's that the strength and power of black women voters should not be ignored. I'm not sure Kamala is connecting with them though, and I think we have the attacks against her prosecuting history to thank for that bias. @JaneAusten I'm hoping for a Kamala comeback too. I'm probably just about the only person in Madison Wisconsin right now proudly displaying a Kamala bumper sticker on my car, because I'm just "meh" about the top 4. Of the top 4, I'd choose Elizabeth Warren first, but I too am having doubts that she'll be electable enough down the line to defeat Dump. A couple months ago, wasn't there whispers that the Trump team were nervous about Kamala being the next Obama? She stumbled with Tulsi's jab towards her, but I have good feeling she'd wipe the floor with Trump if they were the two going head-to-head.
  10. Well now that that's over, time to give Melrose Place a proper reboot. Heather Locklear needs something to pull her from her stupor! (Or, it could make matters worse. Poor Heather is one of those celebrities who cannot grasp the reality of getting older when you're so well known for being the young sex kitten wearing mini skirts)
  11. NJ: I guess I've grown on Jennifer. She's vapid and silly, but she fits in now (go figure?). Re: @Cheap21 I know someone in the plastic surgery/injections industry and she will literally wake up, look at herself in a mirror, see she looks tired and start injecting botox/fillers into her head all on her own. And she's got a 10 year old daughter with self esteem and eating issues. Gee, I wonder why??? It's amazing how blind some parents can be when it comes to molding and influencing their children. The Dolores dynamic is a "modern family" indeed. I think it's odd, but if it works, it works. Side note to another personal story: My best friend in highschool had parents who were married, then divorced when he was young because his mom is gay. Years later, they all decided to live together to raise their son together, but his mom was now in a same-sex relationship. So under one house, you had the son, the father, and in the master bedroom was the mother with her girlfriend. To an outsider, it's freaky, but for those who knew them, it was completely normal and functional. Teresa looks like she's going to be really mean and hot-headed this season. Good for TV, but yikes... Margaret continues to give me the giggles and has the most level-headed point of view. Looks like the teams are Margaret/Melissa/Jackie and Teresa/Jennifer/Dolores with Dolores as an interloper. And then Danielle will come in and blow [!@#$%^&*] up.
  12. LOL. Love it. The Queen has left but at least our Princess has returned. If only Kyle wasn't an uncredited producer, this would be the perfect season for her comeuppance (especially if, like you suggested, they threw money at LVP for a sit-down) Kyle Richards and Tamra Judge will never get their just desserts. Yes to all. Depending on how this season pans out, I could see them demoting Teddi easily. If Erika brings nothing (in their eyes, not ours), I could see her demoted too, but Andy and his gaggle of gays love her. I feel like we'll always be stuck with Kyle and Rinna until their dead carcasses are dragged away. Dorit... ugh. Cockroach.
  13. I used to love seeing those New Years week numbers every year; always a great boost for every show. To me, it kind of showcased how many people are really interested in their shows but just casually view during the rest of the year when they're working.
  14. Save for Chicago peeps We get it right
  15. With these weekly breakdowns coming (Thanks @VanessaReardon), I'm interested in seeing other times when GL hit No. 2. Plus, I always wondered if OLTL ever hit No. 1 for a week?
  16. That's my hope.
  17. For as much progress as we've made, we're not ready for a gay president. Not yet. No matter how much it's hyped that we've come a long way since Ellen's "Yep I'm Gay" moment. Mayor Pete on the ticket is a guaranteed 2nd term for Trumpilstiltsken.
  18. Fool move on Tinsley's part. If she quit, I hope they keep her in and then let us know half-way through the season, similar to something like Dina exiting New Jersey in the middle of S2. YES to Jill Zarin! NO to Aviva. Sorry boo Except for Seasons 5 & 6, NYC always showcased the most organic friendships. Aviva was so forced upon the group in her second year, as no one had any interest in filming with her. I'd sooner welcome back Kelly Bensimon (whom I couldn't stand) because she's retained a friendship with LuAnn. Wasn't Phaedra preggars when she joined, and then once she had the baby, her intro updated?
  19. One word: uninspiring. My reaction is the same as Erika's stank face. This season is gonna suck. Ditto. I'm normally not one for baby storylines, but I actually liked both because they're more about the drama of the new families falling apart, Porsha's and Kenya's. I must say, it was great to have Kenya back. I know she's one of the polarizing characters on ATL, but I think she's needed. It was babies all around with Eva full-on prego and Kandi having a surrogate. Yet, I liked it all. It was a nice re-introduction into everyone's lives before the crazy starts up again. Didn't miss Nene to be honest, but there's a lot of good messy stuff coming up. "Open marriage." Ok gurl...
  20. Yes. I can't believe I forgot to add Kelly Dodd to the Messiest Housewife (In A Bad Way) list. Brandi & Kelly cackling together on WWHL was a display of pure gutter trash at its dirtiest. Oh and a big YES to Tamra's much needed comeuppance. Kelly said she's going to go hard on her at the reunion and Andy looked a little terrified (but more like terrified in a "ouch this might hurt but I'll like it" kind of way) I was liking Braunwyn, but she becomes a blubbering mess way too easily. Braunwyn and Kim Fields are better suited for New York Season 1 circa 2008 calmness, where the only drama was Simon coming to an "all girls dinner." Ah yes. Nicole. Thank you. Everyone here watch the WWHL interview with Joe and Teresa? Good grief, that was awkward. It's clear the two of them have already separated and made plans for the future without each other and will have a family meeting in Italy to make it all official with the girls. They slipped so many times in their interview, what with Joe admitting to encouraging Teresa to go after rich older men instead of young hotties with tight bodies. At least Tre finally admitted publicly that she believes/knows Joe cheated on her all these years, or at least while Tre was in prison...
  21. The more categories, the better! Ugh, I forgot Jacqueline made an official return the year Dolores and Soggy joined. Ugh. Never come back. I can do without Phaedra but totally agree with the others. Isn't it funny how Taylor Armstrong's image has been making the social media rounds these days? This one's funny: https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/rhobh-taylor-armstrong-is-here-for-the-woman-yelling-at-cats-meme-but-still-doesnt-hilariously-understand-it.html/
  22. Yikes for NBC during that time...
  23. Ditto Chicago (WLS, the birthplace of Oprah, haha). It aired at 11am through the end, and then their 11:30 news became a full hour before AMC.
  24. Agreed. I loved Alison Hirschlag's portrayal, as well as how they wrote the role at the time. It was a complete 180 when Crystal Hunt took over and became a vapid jealous brat.
  25. A lot of affiliates dropped Port Charles or aired it in late night for its final 3-4 weeks since the new daytime season began around the second week of September but PC aired until October 3rd. Didn't like half of all markets throughout the country drop Edge Of Night by the time it ended in December '84? I think I read a lot of affiliates dropped it around September '84. Question: For anyone familiar with Mountain Time Zone, when did they air their soap schedules? I remember over two decades ago visiting family in the northwest corner of Iowa and they got signals from stations in Sioux Falls South Dakota, and they advertised Bold and Beautiful coming on at 11:30am, which leads me to think their soap block would be 10:30am to 2pm? Or perhaps that particular affiliate aired B&B before Y&R.
