ATWT didn't get a happy ending. That's why I love telenovelas. They have a beginning, a middle and an ending. The ending(the last episode) ends in a happy note unless the soap is so popular that the last episode is left with a cliffhanger because they'll be a second part a year later. Goutman was suppose to give us a happy ending yet all we got from him was s h I t !

Runyeon wasn't happy that he wasn't the star of the show. I think Marland got sick of it and turned Steve to the dark side and he was involved in a drug smuggling story where he went to prison and thus off the show.
