I’m very curious about the Manhattan Lives spinoff which was intended to star Deidre Hall. It involved Marlena relocating to New York. I believe Sheri Anderson developed it. I’m not sure if her leading men were meant to accompany her nor do I know if any other cast members were going to join her. They likely would have aged Sami and Eric. Would Carrie have stayed in Salem? I believe there was another spinoff developer called Pacific Lives and would have been about Tommy Horton working as a doctor in Hawaii.

I had always wanted to see Robin in this role and I was not disappointed. Obviously Vivian is Louise’s role. I just liked Robin best of the three recasts.

Do you think the plots are coming from the fired guy or do you think he installed a scab head writer? Also, Sheri Anderson is on the writing team but not as head writer so that may explain why you’re enjoying the dialogue more.

Priscilla Garita’s Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald was not the same. Lindsay Korman’s real Theresa was the heroine and ingenue. Garita played her like an evil psycho when we all know that role belonged to Gwench. Deanna Wright played Kay too sweetly-nice compared to Taylor-Ann Mountz. Heidi Mueller was a nice balanced blend of the two. Cathy Jeneen Doe’s Simone was so passive compared to the first two but I ultimately liked her a lot in the role. What do you mean? When Lisa returned in 2002? I was not a fan of Billie as a cop. That was OOC. All of Lisa’s returns since 2012 have felt like the real Billie to me.

As it should be. Deidre has appeared in over 5000 episodes (more than anyone else) and is the star of the show. That’s why I’m constantly asking for the Jarlena family to replace the Hortons as the core family.

DVD was supposed to be back for the Christmas episodes but Alarr put a stop to that. I don’t think they’re changing his paternity again (although they should reveal that Maude is Daphne Dimera, thus restoring his 2002 paternity [his best one]). I think this story is just about shedding more light on his past as The Pawn. Ideally this story will culminate with John getting his pre-1986 memories back.

This happened in Aremid. Stefano was obsessed with their mother Rachel. He wanted her badly. He caused an explosion that killed the husband and seemingly killed Rachel. In reality, she was badly burned and lost her mind. She became the Woman in White. Meanwhile, Stefano took in the kids and raised them.

Bold can have her! Lock her into a multi-year contract! Please!

Carly was hotter with Lawrence anyway.

Kristen going evil revolutionized the character and made her the greatest Days villainess of all time. Personally that’s the only kind of love triangle I like: a true-love couple like Carrie and Austin with an evil sociopathic interloper like Sami scheming and manipulating to keep them apart or break them up.

Bold can go ahead and give LK a contract. Please!!!

Why do you engage with Roman fans? Thanks, Jason! I’m sure that’s what it was. Kate’s Deborah Adair history rarely comes up with LK.

I also hated them. I couldn’t believe they broke up Jamal and Alison and Livvie and Jack for lesser pairings.

Nothing wrong with cartoon. Buried Alive was great and nothing she did was ever going to top it so I was fine when she finally left in 2000.

I think a column in TV Guide is really all soaps require for news and interviews going into 2024.
