  1. lol @ the thought of TomSell’s “writing” being “worth watching” 😆😅😂🤣
  2. I liked Charity more than Madison. At least Charity had some spark to her (and, most importantly, was age-appropriate).
  3. What’s the fail here? Kyle Lowder as Rick?
  4. This story could have been so much better. They really wasted Eileen that year.
  5. Former Days viewers will have no idea who these folks are. It’s disgusting that Martsolf and Gering are 15-year “vets” now.
  6. There are no “new viewers”. The soaps all tried this in the late 90s/early 00s with lots of young millennials (Days’ Last Blast Crew, Y&R’s Glo by Jabot, Passions, etc). It worked while those characters were airing but the younger viewers didn’t stick around in the long run (except for Passions). In my opinion soaps need to write for the viewers they have and reward long-time fans with great storytelling, longer scenes, romance, fan favorite returns, etc.
  7. Even Sarah Aldrich was a better Victoria than Amelia Heinous.
  8. Marlena and the real Kristen (Eileen) That’s Days’ quintessential rivalry followed by Carrie and Sami.
  9. Oh FFS. I hope some of those actors aren’t returning. Specifically Madison, Konefal, and Tinker. I thought we were done with Granny Belle. I don’t want to see that character again unless Days can lure Kirsten back from GH.
  10. Thought you had me on ignore. 😉
  11. I disagree. We aren’t all boring vanilla heteronormative folks like Days’ Will and Sonny.
  12. I’ve always suspected that Brad is a closeted homosexual. The way Ron writes gay characters is in line with the gay men I’ve interacted with over the years, especially Leo, so I don’t have a problem with that.
  13. I have a question about Marlena and RoJohn’s house explosion from 1986, where Marlena was presumed dead and kidnapped by Orpheus. Was the entire house destroyed? RoJohn continued to live there until 1991 and raised Carrie, Sami, and Eric there. Was the house only partially destroyed? Was it the same set? Where did RoJohn and the kids stay until it was rebuilt? The set continued to be seen until 1994 and then briefly returned in 1997 before the set was eventually repurposed as Abe and Lexie’s house.
  14. Ok. I guess you aren’t familiar with shows like American Horror Story where some actors play multiple rules per season. No soap in 2024 has “long term viability”.
  15. Hey, at least she had the decency to apologize. It’s rare for JER haters to have any self awareness.
  16. Blake shouldn’t be denied a new role to play just because his last character tanked. Same with Emily O’Brien. Days has quite a few good actors in terrible roles who should be given new roles (this does not apply to Rob Wilson who is awful). They are wasting a lot of money by writing them out but keeping them on contract. It’s because Ron’s stories were placed on hold during the strike. The strike material is mostly filler and inconsequential.
  17. Now THIS has got to be Diana, right?!
  18. No, that’s Blake’s new character Everett.
  19. It might be in his best interest to stick with GH until this miniseries works out. It’s Ryan Murphy so it’ll likely be a disaster.
  20. I believe he’s still under contract to GH and just being let out to film this miniseries.
  21. Thank you for apologizing and taking accountability. I am very tired of the JER bashing.
  22. LOL @ Devon Sawa leaving Chucky for GH
  23. I want Darin back as Max on Days. I think that’s most likely. Take Greg Vaughan back…I don’t like his portrayal of Eric Brady.
