Frank’s casting is largely why I don’t watch GH anymore.* The show is bloated with useless characters with no ties to GH or its history. They need to trim the fat sooner rather than later. *The other reason is their refusal to utilize Genie properly. The show should be centred around the hospital and Laura.

I disagree. The Hortons haven’t been relevant since Frances Reid retired. Marlena and her family are the true center of the show now. Deidre has appeared in more episodes than anyone and not it’s not even close. Nah. GH constantly beat them in categories Days should have won in the late 90s.

They continued to [!@#$%^&*] up with other blunders like miscasting Krappie DePaiva as Eve Baron Donovan. They are the worst head writers Days has ever had, tied with the despicable Josh Griffith and his rape couch.

Nope. He’s not justified in calling his wife a slut, nor is he justified in making her and the baby he raised homeless. This [!@#$%^&*] is why we hate Roman and why we laugh at you with your “Roman isn’t a jerk” posts. Getting his feefees hurt because he got cheated on does not give Roman the right to degrade the woman he supposedly loved, nor does it give him the right to be cruel to a baby, a baby he also supposedly loved. Everyone who is currently on Days except for Marlena, John, and Bonnie

I stopped watching Days when they killed off Jack but planned to start watching again for Eileen. That lasted about 5 episodes. Once Kristen and Marlena had that anticlimactic reunion in the park and then with John with Basic Black, it was clear TomSell was not going to tell the story I wanted them to tell so I stopped watching. On top of that, Kristen deserved a return story as epic as her original exit story The Killing Pool but TomSell refused to bring back Eileen’s other characters. The only complimentary thing I have to say about TomSell is that at least they finally did bring back Susan. Her scenes were well written. Eileen has reprised four of her five characters under Ron which is why I like him as the best head writer since Jim Reilly.

TomSell wrote out Jack, Carrie, and Austin, who were the reason I started watching again, then proceeded to write out Billie, take Bryan off contract, end Lumi, and have openly gay Will have sex with that trash bag Gabi. Oh, and they thoroughly fucked over Drake. They and Josh Griffith are the most destructive writers to ever blemish Days of our Lives. They were hacks and I rejoiced when they were finally fired. Ron restored John and Marlena to their proper place at the center of the show. They are the heart and soul of Days and the rightful successors to Tom and Alice.

I’m convinced that’s true as well but it didn’t work on me. Martha was also miscast and effectively ruined Kirsten’s role.

I’m not a Lowder fan due to his Days role. I assume he was terrible as Rick too.
