  1. There are alot of people who shouldn't be on the internet. Ron isn't wrong in his thoughts.
  2. Very nice. She was indeed classy. And what a family. Fly high, Ann.
  3. Ann Flood was a lovely woman. I did meet her Classy, nice, everything that you wanted her to be. Ann will rest in heaven.
  4. WOW! The threesome scenes were uploaded to another site and WOW were they hot. Very well done, Days.
  5. I don't know which week these ratings represent. It was in the May, 1978 issue of Daytime TV and all they said was these are the latest ratings as we went to press. Who knows when they went to press for that issue. At least a couple months before. I'm sure the YOU know this Joe, Doug Marland was LONG gone from GH in 1980. So for another poster to credit him for the huge rise of GH in 1980 is just wrong. That person is consistently incorrect and does not research facts. It's annoying. Anyway, happy to provide FACTS.
  6. Yes!! To get back to the purpose of this thread back on track and get away from the cancer of this board: The May, 1978 Daytime TV issue had these Top 10 ratings. AW 11.1/31 ATWT 10/30 AMC 9.9/31 GL 9.2/27 Y&R 9.1/30 OLTL 8.9/26 SFT 8.7/29 RH 8.6/28 GH 8.3/23 The Doctors 8.2/24
  7. Oh no! Don't encourage another blog. The last one we got incorrectly stated that GH expanded to an hour 2 years before OLTL.
  8. Thanks Rob for being the voice of facts in the GH/OLTL expansions. It defies logic that someone who claims to be a stickler for facts would post that GH expanded to an hour before expanding to 45 minutes. Fact check, people. It's not that hard to research that both OLTL and GH expanded to 45 minutes on the same day and both expanded to an hour on the same day. Sigh.
  9. Y&R is SO boring! Is anything gonna happen on this show anytime soon?
  10. I generally agree with you Soapsuds but why is Carlivati to blame? He's the writer. He's not the EP. Corday could sign Chandler to a contract which would force Carlivati to write for Will.
  11. Just WOW that someone would post that synopsis above full of grammar mistakes and misspellings. Especially from someone who claimed to be a master editor and is a stickler for detail and misspellings. It just keeps getting worse. As for Days today, ignoring the jibberish above, it was dull. The threesome thing just goes on and on. It would have been better if it just happened back when and not drawn out and talked about ad nauseum. It's not interesting. Days needs to step it up!
  12. Donna has a LONG history of creating chaos. For just 8 cents a day! I'm paying the 8 cents to Peacock to watch Days. Not to read the spam recaps that no one asked for.
  13. NBC has to be happy with the numbers with NBC News Daily. They were already airing the show on their streaming platform and now they've added 1.3 million viewers to a show they were already producing. Win win win.
  14. But we're saving 8 cents a day because the tone deaf racist who was shilling the .08 a day is now spamming the board with daily recaps that no one asks for. Why champion everyone to sign up for Peacock for only .08 a day and then proceed to spam the board with summaries that no one reads. By the way, GREAT video! And I didn't have to pay 8 cents to watch it.
  15. @TonksadoraDo you realize that you are saving us 8 cents a day?
  16. Mishael has been treated so unfairly for years. Good for her for choosing recurring. She can go out for other jobs and choose to do Y&R when they call her. I hope she lands something greater than Y&R soon. Shaking my head at how they misused her over the years.
  17. ALL this for just 8 cents a day! Well worth it. lol
  18. I just can't deal with you Tonksadora. You're all over the place. You quote yourself and tell yourself that you are wrong. You're all over the place.
  19. Cady is beyond terrible in this role. She should give back the Emmy. "Guest actress"? If she's a guest actress, why is she still on the show? A guest doesn't keep staying on the show.
  20. If Y&R and B&B is doing a crossover, why isn't it about Sheila? I couldn't care less about Nikki and Deacon. Such a waste of a potential crossover storyline.
  21. I have no idea what you're trying to say. Explain more.
  22. The numbers are embarrassing, yes, but this will probably still be more profitable to NBC, which is the bottom line. There was an article in one of the trades recently that detailed the advertising dollars between Days and GMA3 and GMA3 brought in millions of dollars more in advertising revenue than Days. News and talk are cheap to produce. Soaps aren't. The more soaps cut budgets, the more they suffer in quality and viewers tune out. I dislike Carlivati as much as the next guy, but he can't tell a coherent story because he can only use actors so many times per week because of guarantees. This is the new reality. NBC already had this show on their streaming channel so why not get a 2 for 1 and broadcast it on their flagship network. No extra cost to them and in the long run, more profitable than Days. That's the bottom line. Decision makers at the networks care about profits, not ratings. News, talk and game show shows are more profitable than soaps, unfortunately. Why else would The Talk still be on!?!?!!! It is a sad reality.
  23. I happen to like Maurice Benard. He's not wrong about young actors on GH.
