  1. The upside is Ricky Martin is gay. Recast, maybe? Because I don't see Martin returning at all. I have a few ideas, LOL, per usual. 🤣
  2. I really wish SOAPNet still existed, and that I had known about it before I did... because some classic soaps I would have loved to have seen.
  3. I want to get back into Emmerdale, where should I pick up off at? Although, it seems like it isn't available via Amazon on BritBox... hmmmm
  4. Ignore them. 👍🏻 I completely agree: never shift away from the Hortons. As for longer scenes, it's not just a General Hospital issue.
  5. I am GUTTED by Max Bowden's exit... but, with the impending return of Johnny Carter, I suspect they'll be pulling an Abigail / Stephanie with Callum, and having Johnny romance him post-Ben's exit.
  6. It was a bit disheartening, but both were dealing with traumatic experiences, so in that regard I can semi-understand Sharon's treatment.
  7. Now THIS is more like it for this thread. A break from the generic-looking fakes.
  8. I marathoned all-day, and I am all-caught up at this point! 😉 All six ladies of "the six" storyline did amazing work, but it is the works of Kellie Bright & Letitia Dean that have stood out for me, both on the Christmas episode and the immediate follow-up. Gina is the definition of the girl who is attracted to the problem children. First with Jay and now with Dean; it's standard rebellion of her parental figures (Cindy, Elaine, George). I am intrigued with Dean's re-entry into the canvas, and it's partially while I am anticipating Shirley's return in 2024, possibly with Johnny in-tow (since Johnny is returning). Makes me wonder what's bound to happen, re: Linda.
  9. And yet, feels like the same s**t we've already seen before, both on this soap and others.
  10. OMG! Watching the Christmas episode. All of the women vs. Nish is iconic. I love this. so much! Love seeing such female solidarity! A rarity in soaps!
  11. There is no set return, but when Linda Henry left it was told to press she'd be back. I'll never give up on Shirley's return. And Henry hasn't signed any kind of morning gig.
  12. I am loving how camp she is. Now, I cannot wait for Shirley to come back and go head-to-head with her, haha.
  13. Now Elaine is singing "Simply Having a Wonderful Christmastime," haha. The camp of it all.
  14. Haha, thank you. 🙏🏻 I'll always stand in my truth, no matter how unpopular or against the status quo it may be.
  15. Soap Opera Digest is now reporting the news, citing TV Guide.
  16. Finally catching up. I'm at the end of November / beginning of December, and it's so f**king good.
