  1. It started when she caught him saying that he loved her, and the way in which she worded it back to him was in third-person and when he refused to say it again, the look on her face definitely gave away that she's planning something. Plus, not wanting Donnell/Deanna in Fairmont as protection for them. That's what I'm reading from the work of Lauren Buglioli (Vanessa).
  2. It's because she and Ted were working in workout gear at the Country Club (as is even evident by Eva's water bottle on the dining table); both she and Ted changed outfits when they arrived at other destinations (Eva at Uptown; Ted at Garland Memorial).
  3. It's kind of throughout the entirety when he talks about manliness (and comparing himself to that of Bill Cosby), etc., and how he tried portraying Ted's love for his wife, and how manliness is what needed to be shown. It was multiple comments kind of equalling why he left the role. The 'host' of that 'interview' kept jumping from one point to another point. It was all over the place.
  4. Given how she handled AMC in those final months, I do think she would have crafted something with Frank to ensure some of those returns. Would all of them have happened? We'll never know, but I do think she could've brought in some of the names we got back without the necessity of melting face masks and outlandish storytelling.
  5. date: Wednesday, December 17, 2025 | Sara A. Bibel, Lynn Martin | Michael V. Pomarico Thoughts: The tension between Elon and Izaiah feels like it is deeply rooted in something deeper for the former that he does not want to openly confront. Why does it feel like Dana is stealing Samantha's idea for her own? That is the vibe I am getting from this? Oop... Naomin is calling out that Dana's trust fund is not an endless well of money. Foreshadowing as frick! Nicole is really playing the field between Carlton and Kial. Ted, it is a bit late to be feeling a certain way about Nicole's decision to move on with someone else. You are no longer married. I kind of hate Jacob and Naomi for ganging up on Izaiah concerning Eva; if he likes her, then that should be enough. Get off of his back. Samantha, do not back down to Dana. Work twice as hard and twice as fast to beat Dana to the finish line. Do not give up without a valiant fight. Nicole just dousing her damn living room in Febreze. I would be choking if that much was sprayed. One or two quick spurts is enough. Carlton and Nicole have their own wine now? He is definitely trying to make up for missing WinterFest. And it is a bit... over the top, truthfully. Okay, I will not lie: the sentiment of the bird feeder is very, very cute. But I would not want birds unnecessarily chirping outside of my window daily while at that feeder. No, thank you. Okay, okay... I am into Carlton and Nicole so much. They have that undeniable chemistry. They really do. Notes: Bibel's breakdowns are surprisingly good, considering I have never been a fan of her work at other soaps. But here? She has done some solid work. I think it is cute that people help their loved ones at their jobs... but how is Samantha constantly helping out June at Orphey Gene's? She should either be hired, or one of the one-off day players should be given a bit more to do in the character development department. David Lami Friebe (Izaiah) continues to bobblehead himself through scenes, especially when his hair is not pulled all the way back. It is unwatchable and mades me beyond sick.

  8. I've always stated Broderick should've been chosen as HW at GH, despite her desire to not be a HW after her AMC days. But it would've been night/day difference, truly.
  9. Story by the incomparable Michele Val Jean.
  10. Every six or so months, they cycle through different episodes; I know Prime Video has it in their live channels, and for a while, it was airing the D.U.D. storyline and then shifted to Ryan Chamberlain, and now they're where they are at. It's all a cycle through, based upon what ABC had on their website for a bit of time.
  11. I truly and fully believe that is her intent: to take Joey down. That's why she is so intent on being part of the business to take him down from the inside. By refusing, she had to change her point of attack by insisting their relationship is public.
  12. They were; they merged their solo shots into one.

  14. date: Tuesday, December 16, 2025 | Michael Montgomery, Danielle Paige | Phideaux Xavier Thoughts: Lynette is about to be a thorn in the con artist child bride's side... could this lead to her actually loving her husband to prove a point? I appreciate seeing Bill entrust Lynn's case to Tomas. Another sign of him inching closer to being a partner at the firm. Oh, the heartbreak on Anita's face says it all. Poor dear. Her life is flashing before her eyes. I fully believe Vanessa in this story; she is trying to sell Joey. I can only hope he buys it as well. The spoilt, self-centred bitch continues to say she does not mean to do something; intention is everything, whether it is meant or not. She should learn that. Vanessa is doing everything she can to sell this to Joey while still obviously dealing with her grief. It is a masterclass in manipulation to achieve the endgame. It could be me, but I do believe Lynette's surface story. But Bill and his whore's face have been seen in the press for the past year. There is no way Lynette has avoided it. Bowling? Downstairs? I like the continued bonding that is being built but they have a bowling alley downstairs? Wow. I think it shows great strength that Anita is leaning on Dani in this moment, knowing how close she is with Vernon, as the daddy's girl. Lynette is insinuating a lot of "big" in her fantasy world. I love how ambitious she is about it. Dani, I see you piecing those pieces together. You are on the proper track, sweetie! Chelsea, sweetie, this is why you knock or call before entering into your childhood home. But what does Dani have up her sleeves? Are they in some kind of Christmas attire? I appreciate Tomas standing his ground; I completely understand his point of view and why he is staying aligned to Bill at the law offices. Rowena sounds like a hoot and a holler. I hope we get to see her at some point! Daddy's girl and mother's woman. Oh, the way Dani always knows the right words to say. She has got it. Notes: Normally a continuity producer, Montgomery's scripts he has provided as a breakdown writer have been outstanding, and Paige's natural talent for scripted words shines through. Tamara Tunie (Anita)'s unspoken talent just shines. She is embodying everything about this storyline right now. Kudos to her. Award-worthy. So many incredible camera angles the past several episodes that are setting this soap apart from the others, and it is an amazing foundation for this soap's future.

  16. So, Katie/Spencer are going to be the opposing fashion house? 🤣
  17. He does touch upon the subject of his exit from Beyond the Gates. The comments section is... something.
  18. If I were to participate in a drinking game (or if I drank), I'd be drunk with how often "AI" / "AI software" is mentioned. JFC.
  19. I was not a fan of her work on The Bold and the Beautiful, but her work on Beyond the Gates has been outstanding. She truly is one of the best in American daytime, tying with Mandi Line from The Young and the Restless.
  20. I would leave it as is, because it would just rub salt in the wounds, both for viewers and the actors. The character is dead; there is no need to bring it back up again at this point.
  21. Rewatching Wentworth for the millionth time, and it's amazing how many Neighbours alumni are in the series.
