  1. Writers: Christopher Dunn Cheryl L. Davis Director: Steven Williford
  2. No, we won't. And I think that's okay, truly. Time moves on. But what we need is not what we have. Unfortunately, unless ratings and demos plummet, we will never see the true change. Sally McDonald being co-executive producer is a positive step.
  3. Should have been chosen as head writer in 2016. Would have been GOLDEN!
  4. Now THAT is how you do a reveal. You don't discuss it for episodes on end; you save it until the end of the episode. Yes.
  5. Kay Alden shines as head writer during this episode. Truly shines. This is why she, not Sally Sussman, should have been named as head writer in 2016. And this is the visual Edward J. Scott should have restored us to, in terms of production, when he returned as Senior Producer.
  6. General Hospital does a block-tape, which means they don't film episodes. They film scenes, which are then sliced and built into episodes, based on the sets they have up at the studio. So it does afford them the ability to place actors in multiple episodes, in comparison to other soaps. Plus, in general, Frank Valentini does⏤for the most part⏤handle the serial's budget quite well.
  7. I definitely feel like it's because they have to crop episodes into 4:3 for those without high-definition television or not watching on the high-definition station. And it isn't just a daytime issue; it's an overall television issue.
  8. The warmth of this flashback episode is what's missing in today's Y&R. I know we had it when we first transitioned to high definition, but we lost it. I wish there were some way, in post, to restore it. It was the signature William J. Bell look that I feel like would definitely help the show feel familiar.
  9. Currently recording. It'll be in 720p because anything higher costs $$, but the picture is beautiful!
  10. Ready for the best American soap to dominate a second year in a row!
  11. Cady said she was fully open to continue appearing as long as they wanted her, but it's clear: Corday wanted Miss Chick-Fil-A.
  12. This is my first-time experience Daphnée Duplaix, and I am quite impressed by her talent, as well.
  13. A nice graphic (for once) for tomorrow.
  14. And both Bell and Kasprzyk said, "We didn't get acting awards for 2024, so we need Heather Tom to work so we can get some nominations again!"
  15. Casey Kasprzyk really said, "One of the first things as EP is to reintroduce a storyline we did before, but with a less than desirable character (Dylan) than before (Dayzee)." The forced dialogue is ridiculous. And Ivy? Traditional? Since when? 🤣
  16. Who knows; perhaps she felt more needed on her family's farm, or wherever they reside where she feels safe to eat Chick-Fil-A, etc.
  17. I would understand if she were a contract player but she's a recurring guest at this point; surely, if they were able to secure Brooks back, they could have filmed his stuff without her being there, no? Especially if they're ten months tape-to-air. 🤣
  18. Abso[!@#$%^&*]inglutely! And it would have been delicious!
  19. He really is! I am so glad he made the transition to Beyond the Gates, and he seems well loved on set, too. I was never the biggest Karla Mosley fan. Hated the character of Maya on The Bold and the Beautiful, but when she did sub for Mishael Morgan on The Young and the Restless, I did see her differently. But Dani? This is a role she was born to play and I am so glad she didn't stick to her denial of the role.
  20. So Josh Griffith is really going there. I mean, sure? They have chemistry, but yeah....
  21. Phideaux Xavier is a genius with his camera direction.
