She should not have to suffer like this, or as severely as she has been. I appreciate the connection that June and Samantha seem to be establishing as mother and daughter. It is sweet, and it is what Samantha has been missing for some time. You can sense that Anita's condition is deeply affecting Bill. Damn, Vernon is not happy with Anita having the mindset she has right now. It is pleasant to see Bill and Dani being cordial and friendly with each other... but we all know it will not last long. Their chemistry is undeniable. Oh God... what heartbreaking honesty between Vernon and Anita; even though they are honest with each other, they still mask their fears, and in these emotional bursts, they let them out. And just like that... Joey has somehow turned it from Vanessa getting to know him to her opening up more and more about herself and the emotions she has been feeling. Caroline goofing around with Bill about Batman and Wonder Woman was a delightful touch and a classic story plot. She knows he's somewhere else and not at work. Jacob... you are getting too far into this and it is getting way too scary. Might be time to back out. Notes: The week is off to a strong start with Montgomery and Brown. Loving it. Tamara Tunie (Anita) continues to not be afraid to appear less than perfectly groomed in this storyline. It is realistic and it is going to help so many viewers. She still holds herself to her character, and that is what makes her beautiful. Timon Kyle Durrett (Bill) and Karla Mosley (Dani) just spark onscreen. It is so strong I do not see them keeping them apart romantically for too long. They just belong.

The only Cassadines this regime have been focused on are Valentin and Charlotte. That's the extent of it (and Alexis if we want to count her).

I think it should have already been up by now; she debuted in March 2022, and we can assume it's a three-year contract cycle, so her first would have likely been done in early 2025. If she signed another three-year deal, she's signed in until 2028.

That's so unfortunate. But it's also an unfortunate sign of those times where a lot of stuff was still happening on sets.

I am all caught up again and have a few thoughts to share: nü Rachel is a good actor. However, I still do not get the storyline, and I still want to punch the character. The harsh blue light, especially at Salem PD, is so artificial and off-putting. I wish they would never use it again. Ari and Liam have zero chemistry. ZERO. Hank should have been a Nathan recast because we are going nowhere with Liam real fast. Emily O'Brien works better this time around as Gwen than she did the first time, and a Hell of a lot better than she ever did as Theresa. Noel Maxam's influence as co-executive producer is evident. You can sense him shifting things, both in terms of production and writing, whereas it felt like Janet Spellman just stuck her finger up herself and prayed something would stick. The difference a true producer makes. I can only hope that he modifies the music, as the decades-old generic music requires a change.
