  1. original release date: Thursday, April 23, 2026 | writers: Jamey Giddens, Danielle Paige | director: Steven Williford Thoughts: Well, it sounds like Vernon has some good news, so that is a promising sign. Well, Martin just spit out his news to Bradley. Hopefully he can ease into the conversation a bit better than he is right now. No Focaccia? Oh no. That is horrible. But it looks like Jan is on the way to save the day! Vanessa still wants in on Joey's businesses. Glad to see she is still working her angle to infiltrate his businesses and hopefully can implode them from the inside out. Or, at the very least, push Joey out of them. Vernon, you really could have... eased into the news a bit more gently than you did. Because the happiness on Anita's face just turned into the purest mixture of concern, confusion, and uncertainty. So Joey wants to give Vanessa a drawer? That is super romantic. And "back atcha, kid" when she says she loves him. I feel like he is suspicious of her intentions, but I know my Vandanna is going to do this the smart way. Ren does not play around... he is one scary MFer... I can see why Lia employed him. Grayson is stronger than I am... I would be curled up in a ball, crying, and ready to just bleed out right there. I hate that Bradley and Martin are backpedalling in their relationship. They came so far, and now it feels like they are slipping too easily back into where they were before. That Vitamin D is always a pain in the buttocks. Been there. Done that. Damn. Seems like Lia might have a soft spot for Grayson... but her continuing to cut the cameras? That seems very, very risky and also highly suspicious. HOW IN THE HELL DID GRAYSON GET FROM GARLAND TO ASHLEY'S APARTMENT LIKE THAT?! He must be superhuman! G'damn! Wow! What a thoughtful present from Vanessa for Anita. I love seeing her check-in on her, too. And the Harbour Hideaway? Sounds like a beautiful little boutique shop! Ashley, now is NOT the time to make this as personal as you are trying to... you have to keep a level head to keep Grayson alive. BHAM! Anita is ready for some... intimate relations with Vernon, and I can tell he is ready, too. Love seeing it. Vanessa, who the Hell is in that picture frame? Two randoms. And a sound garden? Hahaha. Jan, sweetie, nice to see you, but you have got to go NOW! Notes: Happy we get back-to-back Paige episodes but a shame she is paired with writer2, One of their best scriptwriters, with their worst breakdown writer. Praying by this summer we get word the problem is gone and hopefully with another name, like we got with Natalie Minardi Slater. Williford did a real good job at re-shooting Grayson's stabbing that Sonia Blangiardo-Goins did in yesterday's episode. It was a bit different but kept the same amount of suspense without the breathing room. I cannot stop laughing at how close Martin's bodyguard is to him. If Bradley and Martin start having intimate relations, will he be right there, too? First we are shown how to use a dishwasher with Cascade, and now we are being shown (loosely) how to do laundry with Tide. I will say, as a Tide user since I can remember, they are a top-notch brand. But I am a liquid person. Not a pod.

  3. Is Noah's peripheral vision bad? Because he was looking at Sharon and never noticed Matt out of the corner of his eye. 🤣
  4. Demos/ratings. That's how. So long as Y&R continues to perform in these two aspects, he will remain in his position.

  6. I love that he brought this up again during this past week's episode of Soapy, and how much he wanted to do soaps.
  7. Maitland Ward (ex-Jessica, B&B) will be featured during the second season of Hollywood Demons, in an episode that will focus on child stars gone wild ("Child Stars Gone Wild").
  8. EXACTLY! We love realism. Truly! 😁
  9. Credits for Wednesday, April 22, 2026: Created by: Frank & Doris Hursley Executive producer: Frank Valentini Head writers: Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten Writers: Suzanne Flynn; Scott Sickles and Cathy Lepard Director: Cherie Wall
  10. Karla Mosley confirmed that if that got renewed for 2027, they would get the full 250 episode order. So, both 2027 and 2028 will be 250 episodes each.
  11. original release date: Wednesday, April 22, 2026 | writers: Teresa Zimmerman, Danielle Paige | director: Sonia Blangiardo-Goins Thoughts: I think it is awesome how into each other both Ashley and Grayson are. I hope their relationship is for the long haul. I genuinely do not understand Hayley being so upset. I really do not. She does not love Bill, or so she claims, so why would it matter? She is doing way too much. Finally, someone is asking why Ted has yet to move out of the hotel. That is an important question to ask. Not Shanice getting the tea on Garland as if she did not work there. And not Lia becoming sus to everyone. Very interesting. Martin, going for the Senate? That is a bold aspiration. But at least it is not the President of the United States like he wanted last year. Next time to commit, it will be forever? Oh, Ted just doomed his relationship with Shanice with those lines. Damn. Nicole's cause for concern, especially where Joey is concerned, is very important for Martin to take on. So sweet of Tomas to make a Katherine-centric salsa night at Uptown. I know I would be feeling so special. Bill's briefs? Huh? Nice tongue-in-cheek wording that also gives some insight into Bill's choice of underwear. Ha. And of course he is confronting Hayley about her closing the account. Again, a con artist that sucks at their so-called profession. "Sex Me Up Chicken"? Oh la-la. That does sound appetising if you ask me. Another very thoughtful gift from Tomas for Katherine. I hope she genuinely appreciates it. OH CRAP! I did not see Grayson getting stabbed! Damn. Ren is not playing around, is he? That felt less of a warning and more of a direct message. Poor Grayson. Notes: Another great script day today! Amazing, natural flow! Timon Kyle Durrett's (Bill) suit coat was a bit too tight in the upper arm area today. It should not be pulling in the way it was today. Love the continued inclusion of Alex Alegria's (Tomas) real-life dancing in the soap. Amazing. The two different types of breast implants on Ted's desk are hilarious. I cannot help but laugh at them just being so out in the open, but it is natural for his type of profession.

  13. Why did that happen in the main office? C'mon now. This is ridiculous. Bradley Bell legitimately cannot think this is a riveting soap opera right now. I'd be embarrassed to be on this soap and begging any lawyers to get me out of my contract.
  14. So it's confirmed what we already knew: Patty is on Victor Newman's bankroll, again! I don't hate it, but it is the past repeating itself. But Stacy is delicious as Patty so I am willing to accept it.
  15. She was credited in the end credits for today's episode as "Angelica Valentina Nero".
  16. I think you will like Conner Floyd. Different vibe from Billy Flynn, but he's got the chops.
  17. Oh, absolutely! Those other cons must have been truly dumb or unaware. 🤣

  19. original release date: Tuesday, April 21, 2026 | writers: Michael Montgomery, Skyy Sandifer | director: Michael V. Pomarico Thoughts: I love the continued connections between Martin and Vernon. They have a great connection as grandson and grandfather. Hayley just spiking Bill's coffee at Caffeine Fix Atrium, in open public, not caring who may or may not catch her. For a con artist, she sucks at her profession. Dani longlegs and Vandanna have reunited! So exciting! Whew... Nicole and Joey having a one-on-one? That seems interesting. But not Joey talking about being reduced to stereotypes. Truly laughable. Martin's concerns are viable and understandable. I would be concerned, as well, but like Vernon said, with the problem gone, it should allow Martin to move forward in his campaign. Caroline talking about ordering steak and dessert is a mood. I love that for her. I would do the same thing... plus an appetiser. I am not one to turn down a free meal. Tomas is working his angle and I like that. He is playing this smart. I love gossip seshs between Dani and Vanessa. It is so juicy and a great way to just enjoy some girl time over cocktails. Joey and Vanessa calling each other partners is interesting. I know a lot of people do that in today's world, but I do not see what is wrong with 'boyfriend/girlfriend'. Maybe it is the traditionalist in me? Hayley thinks she can play Bill? That is hilarious. She sucks at being a con artist. Truly. Especially since Bill is catching onto her game, and she will be caught. Notes: Montgomery's work as continuity producer always comes in handy with his scripts, and I am so appreciative of it as a viewer. Pomarico did outstanding work today. The transition between Dani and Vanessa into Caroline and Tomas via the clink of a cheer was brilliant work. I hope we get more moments like this in the future. So Caffeine Fix is now going by the name Atrium? Interesting. I kind of like that change.

  22. original release date: Monday, April 20, 2026 | writers: Sara A. Bibel, Judy Tate | director: Michael V. Pomarico Thoughts: Fenmore's already want to amend the agreement with ChelseaKat? Hmm... interesting. Aw, Ashley wants some horizonal fun first-thing in the morning, and I do not blame her... because Grayson is honey yum-yum. Derek is skating on some dangerous ground. As much as Eva can call her mother out, she will ferociously defend her just the same. Bradley and Jacob are both bull-headed about their involvement in the plasma ring. One or both of them could very well end up getting hurt. Vanessa is smooth. She knows just how to work Joey to her advantage, and I love that for her. She is playing a man's game as a woman, and that is powerful (yet can be derogatorily name-called). Damn, Derek. No need to be such an a-hole to Grayson for wanting to volunteer his time. That kind of attitude is just uncouth. So Marcel is divorced? That was quick for a soap divorce! Not the Legally Blonde reference. I was thinking it but was not going to say it out loud. But what angle is Vanessa playing at by making small talk with Dana right now? Hmm... Hmm. It is either a Fenmore's issue or a lawsuit issue that is causing Chelsea to turn down Dani's amazing idea to feature ChelseaKat's designs in Tatum's next campaign. Not Naomi equating Jacob's assignment to hers to not have children. Those are very different situations and decisions. But whatever floats her own boat. My heart breaks for Dani. Chelsea may have been right but her delivery was less than warm or warranted. She just wanted to give her daughter and her brand some attention and support. Damn. Sketchy boyfriend? Interesting. Very interesting considering the sketchy things you have done, Derek, over time. Now why did that random guest player just look at Jacob that way in the elevator? What she is thinking... Notes: Amazing script today from Bibel and Tate. They worked exceptionally well together to ensure everything moves effectively and that things are evenly paced. And Pomairco are solid with their direction, too. The continued chem-testing between Ben Gavin (Derek) and Ambyr Michelle (Eva) is becoming more and more apparent, and I am OK with it, because I buy them together.
