Y&R: Old Articles
Has anyone? I started watching Y&R in 99 and have never gotten the hubbub over Ashley or Eileen Davidson. She comes across as a cold fish and aggressively unpleasant in every scene. Like she seems mad to be there. And I've never seen her in a romance that works and that's entirely due to her. You have Kristoff, for instance, oozing charisma and she's just sort of there.

My bad, my brain just glossed over the "ern".

T'Challa is not South African. He's Wakandan (forever) though the characters in the movie did speak the South African language Xhosa. The movie, in parts, looks almost like an SNL parody of the Harriet Tubman story. I think her life is too big for one movie but I'm just glad it's finally being told at this point.

What was that all about? Who's the baby? That can't be Jack and Nikki's son, right? I thought he was stillborn.

All I know is that they and a few others spent 3 pages talking about someone named Wallow/Willow's last name.

I don't know this person! I can't keep track of who and who isn't a troll here.

I wasn't at all rude to you. Are you okay? It seems like everyone here is rude to you. You know, sometimes we have to look at ourselves and realize perhaps we're the common denominator.

You...you did the same thing. Stated your opinion as fact. Just dishing it back at ya, boo. I think you're a little too sensitive for this board or maybe just life in general. Find a new watering hole.

ALL: Soap Stars - Where are they now?
That is categorically untrue. Soaps were doing just fine for decades before all the sci fi/supernatural stuff. I don't think I would call any soap story with those elements my favorite, a lot of the time they're very lazily written and are clearly there to fill time or a last ditch effort to attract an audience that would never watch daytime.

That is sad, he was one of the FEW good things about Port Charles.

Nolan North (Port Charles) is the voice of Tony Stark in the new Avengers game.

John, god love you but you've been using the internet for decades now. Since SOD's website is terrible too, here is Muhney's post. I wonder why he hasn't out and out denied it. I mean he's denying it here clearly but why is no one saying what it was and explicitly stating "This did not happen"?

Is it weird that as soon as I saw her in the trailer for that show I knew she'd be recast?

Y&R: Old Articles
According to the description this was the only scene Michelle Stafford's Phyllis and Alex Donnelly's Diane shared. It was pretty standard soap fare but when you have two dynamite actresses (before MS became tic central!), Y&R excellent score and exceptional direction (that shot of Phyllis through the handle of Diane's purse was SO simple but they would never take the time for something like that on soaps today) you get something that rises above the rest.

One Life to Live Tribute Thread
I think Natalie as Viki's daughter was the last great "long-lost child" story told in daytime. It was rooted in history, they cast a great actress (though veeeery green at first, I still loved her) and it lead to...well, a lot of bad stories BUT a real genuine bond between mother and daughter that came across well onscreen.

John J. York (Mac, GH) is in about 2 seconds of the last episode of the new (very funny) Netflix comedy series I Think You Should Leave as a weatherman.
