^ Women's Olympics Hockey. The Canadian and ROC women's teams played a game with full covid masks on - because the ROC (Russian) PCR tests hadn't come back yet. (Meanwhile, there are people who complain that masks are inconvenient. Sigh)

According to some cable guides, and the CBS Sports website: on the following dates, CBS will air "UEFA Champions League" (European soccer tournament) during the timeslots when Y&R and B&B would normally air. Tues. Feb. 15, Wed. Feb. 16, Tues. Feb. 22, Wed. Feb. 23, Tues. March 8, Wed. March 9. https://www.cbssports.com/soccer/champions-league/schedule/20220315/ On each of those dates, the CBS Sports site says there are are two simultaneously-airing matches: one airing on regular CBS, and the other on Paramount Plus. The matches begin at 3:00pm Eastern Standard US time. The pre-match discussion show begins at 2:00pm Eastern. Nice tribute to John Beradino! I didn't know GH had a restaurant named after Steve Hardy's portrayer. Weird that they used the scene for a place where Peter's goons dumped Valentin. I googled and learned that this sign was also used on April 9, 2021. The Finn/Jackie/Chase/Gregory family dinner was inside, and then the waiter went out the back door to this same alley to meet Peter -- Peter gave the waiter the drug to poison Finn (but Chase was poisoned instead). I like that the sign was displayed on April 9 (the GH anniversary). Weird how they use it, though.

. Yup. It's mind-boggling. And terrifying. And you can see from those posts that the particular episode was to be filmed in mid-November but they had to refilm it in January because of what happened. Apparently these reshoots happen fairly often at Days because of covid. Sometimes episodes are filmed within a single week that have airdates months apart. That's why reports of "this actor was on set today filming" don't mean much... as to who will be airing when. Theoretically a character exit could be filmed one day, and then the same character's return could be filmed a few days later -- yet the *airdates* of those scenes could be weeks or months apart. Or the character could be done, but then the actor is brought back weeks later for a reshoot. Allowing unvaccinated cast/crew really messes things up -- and Days gets away with it only because they have a huge amount of time to reschedule filming of scenes.

Her name is Donielle, not Danielle. She has also danced in and choreographed many music videos.

Who is the woman in the white blouse between Mathison and Shaughnessy? I'm having trouble seeing today.

That Stitch-as-bio-father speculation has been circulating for many many months, ever since Stitch was in town last year stalking Abby and holding Mariah captive. It's just speculation but ... Why was Stitch in town? He said it was to go to a retirement party for a former colleague at the hospital, and then he was going back to wherever he was living, and that he had to go back home to be near wherever his son Max was institutionalized. But then why did Stitch take that colleague's job at the hospital? Had he been around way back when and sneaked into the hospital to mess with the conception or implantion process? As mentioned above, the *speculation* is that he wanted to replace the child that Abby miscarried. I hope Dominic is not Stitch's kid. Stitch's son Max from his first wife, Stitch's sister Kelly (played by Watros and McClain), and his mother Maureen (played by Meredith Baxter), and his dead father *all* had serious mental illness and violence issues. And then there was Stitch's behavior last year. The whole family had issues. The genes are there. There is no way I want to see Abby raising a violent child. The character of Abby is too vapid, and M.O. would not be able to handle that. And the show couldn't write it. Plus, if this speculation came true, then they'd write Max escaping from the mental institution to kill his baby brother. All awful.

So the obvious questions (not spoilers, just speculations): Whose egg and whose sperm were combined to create the embryo implanted in Mariah? Was there an accidental mix-up? Or was someone being nefarious and if so, why?

I don't have cable, so I can't see shows broadcast on ABC. Recently I got hulu and discovered that some ABC shows are uploaded to hulu the same day or night. On the first night that Promised Land aired on ABC, I checked Hulu. Episodes #1 and #2 both appeared on Hulu that night. So I watched both together seamlessly. Really enjoyed it! I liked the twist about the histories of the characters. I was bummed to have to wait two weeks to see episode #3. Stayed up last night to wait for Episode 3 to drop to Hulu. Unfortunately #3 had too much exposition. I agree with the above post that Bellamy Young doesn't fit.

A few days ago someone on soap twitter decided it was important to have observance of Genie's 45th anniversary and suggested it be done on twitter, and the word spread, asking everyone to tweet with these hashtags today #Genie45 #GenieIsGH That word has been spreading for several days. And oh look ... Was that a preplanned canned tweet? Probably. The question is ... will the show actually do something to honor her?
